Thats cool. I like the use of Mattel heads. What torso is that on Bulldog?

Bulldog is on a torso from the cheap, Big Lots figures that WWE (and then TNA) released.
Thought it was more life-like than the org Bulldog torso.
Some Mattel heads are too small imo. Randy Orton and Rey mysterio come to mind as being too small, even for Jakks BCA molds.

Anyone still running a BCA figure federation? I wish. I feel like I'm always taking steps in that direction, but for whatever reason I can't seem to commit to running a BCA fed. My roster would ideally be comprised of 1996 talent (so, basically, the earlier crop of figures), and I want to see what I could do with The Outsiders staying put and maybe Bret coming back sooner than Survivor Series. Maybe run an nWo-type group with those three to combat Camp Cornette and Shawn/Ahmed/Warrior around midway through the year. I'd probably wrap things up at 'Mania with the Bret/Shawn rematch (that never was) for the WWF title.

Hey guys, more questions from an enthusiastic budding (re-)collector of BCAs! - How do you modify the height of the ropes on the Monster Ring? Does anyone have pictures of their completed work or even of the DIY element?
Just move the ropes down. It's very, very easy to just slide them down. I used to use Hasbros,Galoobs,TMNTs,Mortal Kombat, the toy of Brody off of Jaws but it was for a show called SeaQuest, Double Dragon, and other assorted figures from that era in the Monster Ring. I'd just pull the ropes down to where they sat atop the little indentations where you put the ropes.

I always planned on picking up from where I left off with my Hasbro federation and continuing it with BCA's. Bret, Shawn, Razor, Bulldog, Owen, LOD etc. were my main stars at the end, and I would slowly introduce the 98-99 wrestlers.

What kind of luck have you guys had splitting torsos? I'm interested in splitting an Austin torso (the standard one that came with the jorts figure) and putting it on The Patriot. Does anyone have a guide or any tips for me?

Does anyone have a guide or any tips for me? I'm sure someone has a better way to do it, but I always removed the figure head, use a small drill to put a small hole where the head used to be, then used two small screwdrivers to pry the torsos open. Works for me. I've even chopped off hands and boots to swap on various limbs. Also have used figure torsos from other lines of figures. Get creative! For instance, my Abyss is on a Jakks Classics torso...which is bigger than BCA, but makes my figure taller. Still fits on BCA waists.

Worked well with BCA and TTL , but I don't have much luck with RA and Mattels like that.

Here are two recent purchases of mine - Special Edition Series 6 The Rock and Backlash Series 2 A-Train. I had wanted both for quite some time to fill in holes in my collection. The only difference between this Rock figure and the one included with Stone Cold Steve Austin in 2 Tuff Series 5 is the t-shirt design. A-Train isn't particularly special; it is his only "BCA" figure, so there's that, but it has absolutely no detail (no trunks design, back hair, nothing) on the other side. I guess I just never knew how much I wanted back hair until I bought this figure.

[/a][/quote] The back of this card is so weird, I mean I know its the transition period between TTl and RA but the Kane featured is a late 90's attire. Very odd.

Any info on this billy? Billy Gunn in white trunks was released exclusively with Ken Shamrock (a re-release from Superstars Series 8) in a Grudge Match Series 2-pack in July 1999.
