Question for you guys that are MOC collectors (looking at you, Chicago and 3Lephant (Naptown Icon))... I see you guys have made a lot of posts showing eBay auctions for entire MOC series that were $20 or less including shipping. Do you have any tips/favorite sellers that you would point me towards? I'm very interested in re-starting my collection and would love to be able to get as much bang for my buck as possible. Any help would be great... thanks! The funny thing is, I buy almost all of my figures MOC, but I open them for my predominantly loose collection. I sent this to a fellow board member who asked the same thing: Yeah, it can be a bit tricky to find BCA figures unless you know where to look. More often than not, I'm searching for BCA figures that are new and in their original packaging. If I don't know what figure it is that I'm specifically looking for, I'll begin with a general search for "wwf new", "wrestling new" or "jakks new". I may even include the year the toy was manufactured, such as "wwf 1998 new" or "jakks 1999 new". You can always throw in terms like "bca" "box" "set" "box set" "pack" "2-pack" "3-pack" "4-pack" "complete" and others along with the ones mentioned above to add a filter to your results. Here's a link to my BCA checklist: jakksbca.blogspot.com/p/checklist.htmlIf you copy and paste some of the terms from there, such as the series titles ("wwf superstars new" or "wwf 2 tuff new", for instance) or the names of wrestlers (for example, "wwf viscera" or "wwf flash funk"), you are sure to get some hits. I would search All Categories first on the main search bar, then work your way through Toys & Hobbies on the left side of the results page to find the BCA figure listings. Good luck, and remember I'm always here for BCA advice. Thanks for the reply. It seems like eBay is just a little short on the BCA lots right now. TBH I just prefer to buy MOC instead of loose because I like my figures to be as close to mint as possible. I almost always open them anyway... and I suppose there's some satisfaction to be had there. Not sure if you saw my post earlier but I thought you'd be the guy to ask. Do you think it's possible to use the Commissioner Michaels (SS8) head on a more standard BCA body (think one similar to Sid's torso)? I'm thinking about making a handful of fixups and I don't really care for either the Series 1 or Slammers head for HBK. What do you think?

Hey guys, more questions from an enthusiastic budding (re-)collector of BCAs! - How do you modify the height of the ropes on the Monster Ring? Does anyone have pictures of their completed work or even of the DIY element?
I know R3 heads work pretty nicely on BCA bodies (and the skin tones generally like up well too) but have you guys tried any Mattel heads? I think some of the skin tones probably work, but I'm not sure how they'd sit on the base of the BCA neck area.
- How easy is it to crack torsos to swap things like arms? I see a lot of the Mattel figs have noticeable gaps in the seams when re-assembling them… is the success rate any higher for BCAs? Also, is anyone here interested in doing some of that work for me for a fee? There are a few fixups I'd love to have but I don't have steady enough hands for this sort of work.
- When I was younger I used to do head swaps but found that I broke the peg about 2/3rds of the time (because they're glued in). I know you guys say heating the figure works (like swapping parts on Mattels) but is the success rate pretty absolute when you do this? Like I said, there are a few pretty straightforward head swaps that I'd like to do and want to know if I should be preparing to buy multiples of the figures in case I break the first ones.
Again, any help is awesome... thanks guys!

Question for you guys... have any of you tried swapping the Series 8/KOTR (Commissioner) Shawn Michaels head onto any other BCA bodies? I'd be very curious to see if that is possible. Thanks in advance! I've not tried this yet. But I do know it will need to be modded. That Shawn head is like the Bossman and Shane McMahon head, the neck is molded on as part of the head. So you would have to dremel off part of the neck for it to fit. I think I have an extra HBK head so I may attempt to mod one to see if I can get one to fit.

I've been using a new laptop so I haven't gotten around to uploading pics like I usually do when I buy new stuff, so here are some MOC pics (all have since been opened) of what I've bought recently on eBay. Backlash Series 4 Edge Yep, no BCA figures anywhere to be found lol. Hey brother, any way you could share loose pics of this Edge and possibly the Backlash series 2(?) HBK that also has a Slammers body but no action? Couldn't find it on your website... Thanks in advance!

Here you go: Both figures utilize previous Slammers Series 2 molds; Edge (released in July 2001) borrows from the Patriot, and Shawn (released in November 2000) is an obvious repaint. Their annoying action features have been removed, and best of all the hard plastic arms are replaced with the traditional rubbery BCA arms (sans "Bone Crunching Action"). The leaner look that Jakks went for with Edge's final BCA figures, including his very best in Backlash Series 3 (released in March 2001), came too little to late but was appreciated nonetheless. Also, who knew Jakks could pull a rabbit out of their hat basing this HBK figure off of his Royal Rumble 1997 attire?

Has anyone tried taking the Crush head sculpt and put it on a tights body and paint the face to make a Demolition Crush? Because after looking over some stuff, I think Mr. McMahon's angry head sculpt would work for Axe.

Hey Chicago have you ever thought about putting together a visual checklist? Yes, but it would take a lot of time and patience that I'm not sure I have at the moment lol. It's a hobby that I'm not 100% committed to all of the time, but I love finding little moments in this thread and on this board to help out fellow members where I can.

I was just wondering how BCA figures would look scale wise in a Mattel Superstar ring?
I am after a cheapish ring and I can't find the Attitude or Hardcore rings for a decent price in the UK.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks The battery on my camera needs recharging, but I was able to get in a few shots of my 2010 Mattel SmackDown Superstar Ring, if that works for you. I would say it is a decent ring for BCA figures. I'm not crazy about rings with spring-loaded mats, but it works well with the six-inch figure scale. I don't think you will be having too many battle royals, or Fatal-4-Way matches for that matter, in a ring of this size, but it's every bit as sturdy and lightweight as the Jakks rings. It is a worthwhile pick-up and a sure upgrade over having nothing at all.

Has anyone here made a Bret Hart BCA all black attire? Or made their own Bret with the all pink attire instead of searching for a loose version from the Bret-Owen 2 pack?

I had an all black Bret Hart, but I don't know if I still have it. If I find it I'll post a picture. Chicago: Those BCAs look pretty good in the Mattel ring.
