Brilliant work on literally all of these. Yes, add gauntlets and make that Mike Sharpe. Looking forward to Molly Holly.. for Divas and Holly's completion. Hopefully we get Neidhart sometime.

Thanks and I completely agree. So strange that the Sid legs saw about 80 different uses from jakks (especially considering how inaccurate they almost always were) and the series 4 Austin ones just the one. The Christopher arms are ridiculous lol but they could be fitting for a Big Poppa Pump bca. Those are indeed Mattel elbow pads on The Rock. So baffling he never had elbow pads on any bca figures after series 5 and the black repaint, especially considering removing one was part of his gimmick and one of the most popular moves in WWF at the time. I wish I was that skilled a painter to be able to adjust the skin tone but I feel it would end up looking like I put it in the microwave. I think the cs head in the best option for the time being, too. Are the DOA arms the same as Fully Loaded Rock? They look similar but the Rock arms may have more muscle tone. I really like the Holly fix-up too. Even an elbow pad can go a long way to make a figure seem more genuine. Good call on Steiner. I've seen jacked-up Kane customs here that could also pull off BC arms. DOA arms are slender with sculpted wrist tape and overall less muscle definition (see Pillman below). Check out this custom BCA Crash Holly figure from Instagram user therealworldchampion : Also, sign me up for these BCA figure conversions of Slammers Series 2 Brian Pillman and Patriot: Love Crash with the Backlash 5 gear. That would be the quintessential look for me - reminiscent of his TTL Rulers of the Ring Series 2 figure. I think you topped yourself with the Mattel Bret Hart head on the BCA all-black ring gear body. That looks perfect. Al Snow with Outlaws arms is just a natural fit, too, because of the thick wrist tape. So cool. If I were a paint guy, I'd want to blacken more of his singlet. It's always bothered me on that figure lol. We need more frumpy looking job guys in the BCA line! That's an awesome tribute to him, and in all seriousness, some of your finest work yet.

BoneCrunchingCustomsI did something similar with Crash awhile back, but may do your method with the torso and arms. You are gonna love what im working on now, its Holly related I also did the same with Brett with a mattel head swap. Looks really good with it on the bca body. so gonna have to change that Al Snow arms now. Looks way better then the other arms. And happy 300 posts all! Lets keep it going!

Thanks for the kind words all and for the info as well ChicagoAlways much appreciated. Feedback is great whether its positive or negative. Just a couple of head swaps here. Al Snow (w/TTL Smackdown series 2 head) Christian (w/Rulers of the ring series 4 head, and with Mattel Rock sunglasses) Road dogg with Jakks elbowpads and Billy Gunn with Off the mat head Vince with black jeans mold, Shotgun LOD arms, Jakks elbowpads, TTL head and a cool mop pail I added some grey undertones to Vince's hair (probably hard to see in this pic) The suit he got from Andre still fits him too (kinda) Christian BCA fix-up with the new Mattel E76

I’m drawing a blank, besides the Jeff Jarrett from the two pack with Debra were there any other unreleased BCA protos? If that’s the only one that has to be the line with the least unreleased figures.

Tell me more about this unreleased Jarrett...I could have sworn that came out as advertised, but I am getting up there. EDIT: Wasn't there one of the Acolytes that made it to at least a partial proto stage for a Ministry four pack before it was scrapped and reduced to the Undertaker/Viscera two pack?

I’m drawing a blank, besides the Jeff Jarrett from the two pack with Debra were there any other unreleased BCA protos? If that’s the only one that has to be the line with the least unreleased figures. That was a TTL figure due for Double Slam Series 3. Billy Gunn in Superstars Series 8 comes to mind. It was replaced by Kane. The black gear without a glossy finish was eventually released in 2 Tuff Series 4. Razor Ramon in Superstars Series 1 had an unreleased alternate head sculpt. I own this Sable prototype that was deemed a little too risque for S.T.O.M.P. Series 3. The figure on the right is the final product. The original ToyFare Exclusive Stone Cold figure had its face half-painted to look like The Terminator and a different front shirt design. The new BCAs had a number of unreleased prototypes. Most notable are APA, Matt Hardy, and Rikishi. When BCAs were reintroduced at NYC Toy Fair in 2001, some were even shown with original BCA parts, including Kurt Angle. I've got pics of them all in this old blog post (I just need to switch the links over from Photobucket): jakksbca.blogspot.com/2011/02/teaching-old-bca-line-new-tricks.html And that's probably just scratching the surface. I'd bet there are others out there we don't know about. We may never know them all, nor should we expect anyone to remember useless info from 20+ years ago, but I'm optimistic that more will come out in time. Yes, Bradshaw. I would assume some work was done on Faarooq, but nothing's ever surfaced. So...this sweet piece arrived today. Pumped to own it. Anyone know who or what it is? At first I thought it might be an early TTL head, but now I'm starting to think it's the unreleased Jakks WWF BCA Bradshaw head. Here's my first suggestion for a Jakks BCA figure set that I would have liked to have seen make it to production. Ministry of Darkness 4-pack (Wal-Mart Exclusive, Due Out July 1999)Undertaker (2 Tuff Series 5 re-release) Viscera (2 Tuff Series 5 re-release) Farooq (new sculpt) Bradshaw (new sculpt) This once-rumored boxed set of BCA figures had a scheduled release date, and prototype images were sent to various toy sites by the WWF Development Team at Jakks, in the summer of 1999. Below is the lone surviving image of Bradshaw's prototype figure, an obvious work in-progress, as it was presented by Raving Toy Maniac on July 19, 1999. The whereabouts of Farooq's prototype figure are unknown. Though the initial July 1999 release date had come to pass with no Ministry 4-pack in sight, Ringside Collectibles' own Figure Insider reported in early August 1999 that it was due to arrive at Wal-Mart stores later that month. Unfortunately, by the end of August 1999, some figure sites were already reporting that the Ministry of Darkness 4-pack had been cancelled. The news was all but confirmed as Jakks unveiled Titan Tron Live figures in the fall of 1999, and no new BCA sculpts were scheduled for the remainder of the year. Another significant factor proved to be the group's disbanding on WWF TV months earlier. It seems more than likely now that Undertaker and Viscera were to be the exact same figures as their 2 Tuff Series 5 2-pack, a set that wasn't released to stores until September 1999, or about a month after the Ministry 4-pack had been pulled. I can only imagine what original BCA Acolytes figures would have looked like when completed. New BCA Acolytes? Well, that's a story for another day.

Yea I know that the leaked sheets from the manufacturer had a ton of guys listed that we never got and they just replaced them in spots with re paints. Just funny considering how almost every other line of wrestling figures had a decent amount of unreleased protos, that original BCA line had very few all things considered. That we know of anyway.

Picked up some loose BCA's today as a belated birthday gift to myself. Grabbed Ahmed Johnson, Crush, Clarence Mason and the blue/white Jerry the king Lawler. Nothing crazy but I never owned any of them as a kid so I'm happy to add them to my collection.

Ive been wanting to do a proper BCA figure of Chris Benoit for awhile now but just been putting it off due to everything that happened which is a sad tragedy. Most of us grew up watching him in WCW and then continuing in WWE before the Invasion happened up until his horrific actions. I started working on this when the episodes of Dark Side of The Ring of his was on. I also wanted to make him to go with my Eddie and Dean figures. Im still on the hunt for a Perry Saturn figure to complete The Radicalz. So if you all see one for cheap let me know! More figures coming soon!

I was not a fan of the new style BCA's. They towered over the old ones and basically every one was the ecact same figure repainted with a different head.

Little things like this take already cool BCA figures up another notch! Also I just picked that Paul Bearer up loose recently and didn't even know it existed before I saw it. So many BCA figs never made their way to Canada =(.

Head to the bottom of the page jakksbca.blogspot.com/p/checklist.htmlWith the electricity out for a while this morning, I did a bit of painting. First up, I added some darker tones to Pillman's hair and re-painted his beard and eyebrows. A big improvement imo I gave Bret some eyebrows and some shading on his lips A couple more Kane heads got some tones added to their hair and beards and I added black around the eyes on the red mask

I've been having alot of fun upgrading the BCA figures recently. It's also great to have a place to share it and look at what others have done. I actually bought that Badd Blood 4-pack with that version of Paul Bearer at retail in Regina, SK back in the day. It's one of the few box sets I recall seeing. The one I always wanted the championship title series box set but I'm pretty sure that never made its way here, like the majority of the US store exclusives.
