It’s amazing how they had all the right parts and couldn’t swing them in the right combinations. I wish I had been able to customize them when I was a kid.

I might try to make a handful of attitude era guys, but I can’t remember if I sold my BCA stuff when I sold off almost all of my Jakks collection a few years ago.

Just got in a 2 Tuff 3 MOC Steve Austin and Taker for VERY cheap. Extremely happy with both of these figures. But gotta love the good ol' rattle inside of the "Rattlesnake's" body fresh off the card. Oh well, not a big gripe for me, still happy!

Just secured a BCA lot for $35 CDN from a local seller.
I'm gonna be picking it up on Saturday but I scored a blue and white Jakks Monster Ring, Ultimate Warrior, Jim Cornette, and another 7-8 BCA figs. So lucky I stumbled across this when I did as the seller told me there were multiple people that reached out.

Some figs aren't complete but the paint is pretty much flawless on all. The ring itself is surprisingly good with all stickers intact, but the ropes just need to be tightened up a bit.

Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw with HHH series 4 left arm, Shotgun Road Warriors right arm with painted wrist and finger tape and Road Warrior torso. I'd like to do his lower body too but nothing really works because of the cowboy boots he wore. King of the ring '97 HHH

BoneCrunchingCustomsGreat job on the Pillman. I like that if I'm ever unsure of something I see on Twitter, I can always come here to get confirmation from you. Regarding the DOA arms, I think choosing those parts and repainting them was probably the best way to go about making a BCA Pillman. The changes that you've made to Pillman and Kane's hair, as well as the subtle little touch-ups to Bret and Kane's facial features, bring so much out of their sculpts. Finalized version of Edge evokes the greatness that is Backlash Series 3 Edge with that torso and those arms. If only they all could've been like that. Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw is incredible. Love that you found an alternative use for the LOD torso. What a bummer it is that Jakks never sculpted proper cowboy boots for this line. Is that the Backlash Series 1 HHH head? That's a peculiar one. I wonder what a Ripped & Ruthless Series 2 HHH head would look like on that body. Anyone ever swapped a BCA head for a R&R 2 head? Jakks never attempted it outside of the Special Edition Series 3 HHH figure, but I'd have to imagine someone in the late '90s made a custom Kane, Sable or Shawn Michaels with one of those heads. zappa2510Did you paint over Owen legs for Benoit? Reminds me of the TTL Rebellion Series 1 figure, just with the open hand swapped to the left side. Real Scan head looks good on that HHH torso.

Thanks as always for the kind words, ChicagoI'm really happy with the way Pillman turned out. I totally agree that the DOA arms are the best choice. I experimented with the Superstars series 6 HHH arms and Headbanger arms to much less contentedness. Something as simple as the Bret sculpt having no eyebrows can really throw it off. I wasn't sure I could bring it to life but I was satisfied with the final result. Backlash 3 Edge was indeed my inspiration for the fix-up. That is on my top 5 list of BCA figures I still need in my collection. I saw a loose Superstars series 6 Edge on ebay that appears to be a variant and uses Billy Gunn legs. It's not perfect but I much prefer it to the molded HHH legs. I may try to pick one up. One of my biggest pet peeves with any figure line (dating back to the LOD hasbros) is wrestlers that are permanently forced to wrestle in their entrance gear. The JHB figure was among the most obvious of offenders. Sculpted cowboy boots would have come in real handy for JHB, Windham, 2002-era Bradshaw, Smokin Gunns, etc. By checking out FigureRealm, I believe it is a Backlash Superstars series 2 HHH head that I got in a lot for custom parts. It's one of the few BCA HHH's with accurate hair color. I have the R&R HHH and Shawn but both of their skin tones are way too dark to match up to any of the parts I have in my fodder bin, unfortunately. That R&R Kane head would be pretty dope for a custom removable mask variant if it would match up. Nice idea.

BoneCrunchingCustomsLooking at these Edge figures is giving me flashbacks. When I was a kid, I took my DTA series 2 Edge in black and my Backlash Series 1 Edge in his trademark blue and made them my E&C in my fig fed. Currently looking at the exact figures as I type this and I have to say the Backlash series 1 Edge is probably my most favorite figure from BCA personally. His hands are in a good pose to do a 3 second pose which was icing on the cake for me.

Thanks! I really wish there's something I could have done with the lower body, though. BoneCrunchingCustomsLooking at these Edge figures is giving me flashbacks. Back before the BCA line, I remember using the "Make my day" Leo TMNT figure as a Bret Hart knockoff because of the black outfit, the stripe down the side, sunglasses, elbowpads, wrist tape and kneepads. It even had the same star logo Bret had on his boots on Leo's helmet. You had to work with what you had! I had an idea to make some carding images of what my custom series of BCA figures would look like

I had an idea to make some carding images of what my custom series of BCA figures would look like I got you with a Jakks BCA backing style. Will work on a series 2 one with Blackman, Patriot, Holly, Bret, etc.

I'm liking this recipe for Dan Severn. I just wish the skin tone on his head would match up a bit better, though its hard to tell from this pic.

I saw a loose Superstars series 6 Edge on ebay that appears to be a variant and uses Billy Gunn legs. It's not perfect but I much prefer it to the molded HHH legs. I may try to pick one up. I've seen three versions of Superstars Series 7 Edge: 1. Series 6 HHH body (same as the prototype) 2. Series 6 HHH torso, 2 Tuff 2 NAO arms and 2 Tuff 2 Billy Gunn legs 3. Series 6 HHH torso, 2 Tuff 2 NAO arms and Series 6 HHH legs No idea if there exists a fourth version with HHH arms and Billy Gunn legs, but I suppose that it's possible. Number 1 is the standard Series 7 Edge. Number 3 might be the second most common variation. Number 2 seems like it comes up the least in my searches. Number 3 is the only version I've come across for the BJ's Wholesale Club Exclusive 3-Pack. That could mean it was among the final production run since the 3-Packs hit a couple of months after the solo release, but I have no way of knowing that for sure.
