Rusty you need more Mideon!! I need help identifying a figure I used for a CM Punk custom long ago. It was a Triple H figure, nothing else was changed other then the head. Some thinks its a Backlash figure. Ive never seen this figure if ever since I bought it off of ebay many many years ago. It's definitely been modified besides the head. Not by you, I assume. It looks like a HHH Series 6 style torso, Marvelous Marc Mero arms with the tattoo removed, Signature Series 6 HHH crotch piece painted pruple and possibly Dan Severn legs (judging by the pale skintone).

I'm not sure where to post this and seeing as it's quite an active post still I thought I'd try here. I'm trying to build an arena for my BCA figures but don't want anything too big so does anyone know where I could get a crowd print out which is free please?

First figures I ever had were LJNs, and then on from there. But of all the figures during the days I stilled played with them, BCA were my absolute favorites to play with. I don't know if I actually think these were the most playable figures, or if the most fun I ever had with figs, was during their run. Yeah, I started with Series 1 Hasbros and Galoobs when I was very young, and I feel the same way. BCAs were far from the most durable, but you could do a lot more with them than their predecessors. They were a great size for a kid's hands. Not too big, not too small. The soft rubbery limbs were different than most other action figure lines I played with as a kid, so naturally, that made them stand out. They were poseable, albeit in a clumsy way. When I think of BCAs, I'm reminded of what it was like to grow up during the Attitude Era. The world felt so new with so many possibilities. It's all a bit hokey-sounding, but that's what that period means to me. Had I been a couple of years older when BCAs were introduced, maybe I would have felt differently. I certainly don't fault anyone for not liking them or for being dissatisfied with Jakks figures at any point. BoneCrunchingCustomsI love that RA Faarooq head! The skin tone looks perfect. Acolytes getting the BCA figures they so richly deserved. Thanks for all the tips about decals. I don't have anything in mind, but I love knowing that those options are available to me. You're making me want another Elite or an Ultimate Edition Ken Shamrock with those alternate heads lol. Faarooq legs for DDP makes all the sense in the world. Do whatever you have to do. It doesn't look bad. As long as the legs move well, that's all that matters. Sorry to hear about Twitter! I hope you're able to share your work again as soon as possible. I miss seeing your customs come across my feed. Mideon is a must-do. Are there any decals out there for him? lol Love that Triple H head swap. The bleach blonde hair look on that Deadly Games figure irritates me for some reason. BOD Kane's arms are a MASSIVE improvement. That's all it would really take to turn Backlash Kane from a joke (in my opinion) to an instant classic. HBK looks so good. The painted lips and teeth almost bring that figure to life. When it comes to choosing the right parts for the job, it doesn't get much better than that. Once I get back on my feet (just got laid off on Monday, which is a pretty swift kick in the junk) I'm gonna start hunting down the BCAs I never had as a kid so I can have them now and even some of the ones I've lost from my childhood as well. I've been real nostalgic for this era of wrestling and life in general in the last week or two. It was a better time. Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope some good luck comes your way. Which BCAs are you thinking of getting? I'm not sure where to post this and seeing as it's quite an active post still I thought I'd try here. I'm trying to build an arena for my BCA figures but don't want anything too big so does anyone know where I could get a crowd print out which is free please? The Reference Picture/Print-Out Requests board may be a good place to look: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/board/30/reference-picture-print-out-requests

Which BCAs are you thinking of getting? I appreciate it, man. The place I worked at took a huge hit because of COVID and I was let go because I was still in the new hire phase. In terms of the BCAs I was looking at getting, really I had kind of an erratic hit list. I need to get new Series 1 Diesel and Razor (or maybe just finally get that 2-pack...) and I wanted to get Break Down Mankind again because I lost the mask from my old one and that one had a blood bath match and I couldn't get the blood gimmick I used to wash off. And then there's just ones like pre-boxer Marc Merco that I never had as a kid and the WM XIV Shawn Michaels and the Paul Bearer that came with Mankind, and then I also wanna get MIB versions of the Rumble and Survivor Series mini rings. I could list so many figures that are on my "I had this when I was 8 and no longer have it because it either got traded away, stolen or broken" list. Watching a lot of that 96-98 era of wrestling in the last few weeks has made me really nostalgic for these figures. Just looking at pictures of them takes me back to a way simpler time in life and it also reminds me of when I really loved wrestling.

I think it was you I was chatting with elsewhere about this the other day, but that would be the final nail in the coffin for my collection of figures that, growing up in the AFR days, I basically had to assume existed because I never set my teenaged eyes on them. I've done well to amass almost the full list of figures I'd only seen online, but I've kinda written off the two pack as a pipe dream. That being said - I'll never not love this story. Growing up, my friend Steve had the Hart Family Feud 2 pack. Other than at his house, I never, ever saw that set in person. Last summer, digging through the same bin of beat to hell loose figures I'd dug through a thousand times before at a local flea market, I plucked an Owen out of the depths, and nearly collapsed when I saw the cast on his arm. Bought it then and there for a whole $3, took it home, cleaned it the best I could, and went to bed that night comfortable in the fact that at least I had that. Fast forward six months, and I'm at a local wheeler/dealer who I don't like buying from because he cleans out local stores and basically eBays in person for his own gain, but he's got a good stream of loose stuff coming in at a decent tick. I've got an OSFTM Sabu and RA Bischoff in hand, looking for a third to make my 3 for $10 deal for the day, and there it is - Bret Hart in all pink! Almost fifty miles apart in a completely different state, I found the match. That's sort of what I love about the chase for these old BCAs. I've set a rule for myself, to never pay more than $20. To date, I haven't exceeded $15 per, and I've been able to lock down the following: Superstars Series 1 Razor Ramon (loose) Superstars Series 1 Diesel (loose) Superstars Series 1 Diesel (MOC) Family Feud Bret Hart (Loose) Family Feud Owen Hart (Loose) Survivor Series Box Set Ultimate Warrior - Green(loose) DTA Series 2 Blue Blazer (MOC to open) DTA Series 2 Blue Blazer (MOC to keep) KB Limited Edition Yokozuna - White (Loose) If I can get a red Yokozuna and that two pack, I'll have amassed everything that eluded me as a kid (that I wanted).

Just looking at pictures of them takes me back to a way simpler time in life and it also reminds me of when I really loved wrestling. No problem. I like that your list covers so much ground. Other than maybe having to pay more nowadays to get a good Razor/Diesel 2-Pack or the Mini Rings sets, I don't think you should have much trouble finding those figures. When I went back and watched through those '96-'98 shows again within the past 5 or so years, it was nostalgia overload. Mostly for the Austin/McMahon segments, but there's a lot to reminisce about. My favorite thing to do was take notes on all the different gear worn. I would also think a lot about how this gimmick or that gimmick would've made for a great BCA figure, and I'd try to imagine what the folks at Jakks might have considered for parts and whatnot. The last time I watched any classic shows was back in July. I caught up to late August '99 RAW, but honestly, it became a lot less fun to watch after Owen's death. I appreciate it, man. That's such an awesome story. Thanks for sharing. If you can find any early Jakks figures for those prices, I'd say definitely go for it. As you're well aware, you never know when you'll find deals like that again. I remember getting my hands on a MOC Series 1 Razor for the first time in '07. I ended up reselling it on eBay a short while later, but for that little bit of time I had it in my possession, I felt like I was living out a childhood dream. Never saw it or Diesel in stores when I was a kid. The 2-Packs don't ring a bell either. Probably because I was still too young and my memories only go back so far; I would've been 8 when all of the Superstars 2-Packs were released.

Well it’s about that time where I go through this thread (and eBay)and take a trip down memory lane haha. Would like to pose a question; Is there anything in particular you’d consider a glaring omission from the line? One I have is probably something only I’d say but since I’m such a weirdo here’s mine. Besides Series 4, there was no ring gear Austin in the main Superstars line. I bought Series 4 on eBay earlier this year and kept in MOC. So much nostalgia towards that figure, since it was the first Austin. But it’s honestly not a great figure haha. He was/is my favorite so I honestly probably had every Austin they made. But the lack of a true and accurate ring gear version in the main line feels wrong. I can’t remember every one I had but the one in 2 tuff with the Rock and the Signature Series one seem like the most accurate, as far as boots and knee brace go. And that’s just my little rant about Steve Austin in the BCA line. Now I’m probably gonna go buy the Signature Series 1 on eBay and display it loose

ChicagoI love that RA Faarooq head! The skin tone looks perfect. Acolytes getting the BCA figures they so richly deserved. Thanks. I prefer the RA head as well. It matches up alot better. Thanks for all the tips about decals. I don't have anything in mind, but I love knowing that those options are available to me. No problem. You're making me want another Elite or an Ultimate Edition Ken Shamrock with those alternate heads lol. That would be awesome! Complete the black, red and gold entrance robe.Sorry to hear about Twitter! I hope you're able to share your work again as soon as possible. I miss seeing your customs come across my feed. I will make another account soon. I guess if you voice an opinion on twitter, it better match the garbage narrative being shoved down your throat by the bullcrapmedia.Mideon is a must-do. Are there any decals out there for him? lol Yes! Curb Stomp just added some Mideon decals and I already placed an order.Love that Triple H head swap. The bleach blonde hair look on that Deadly Games figure irritates me for some reason. Ditto. That headscan has to be one of the most recycled in the BCA line.BOD Kane's arms are a MASSIVE improvement. That's all it would really take to turn Backlash Kane from a joke (in my opinion) to an instant classic. I think so too. I stole the concept from Dustin Young 87's BCA customs video. Perfect solution he came up with.HBK looks so good. The painted lips and teeth almost bring that figure to life. When it comes to choosing the right parts for the job, it doesn't get much better than that. Thanks. I'm thinking of doing the Survivor Series '97 attire next.On to some new stuff. I finished by Crush and Skull DOA customs. I wanted Skull's pants to match so I went with the same lower legs. If I get enough of the black denim wash legs I wouldn't mind making another matching set. Sanding down the sleeves on Crush's upper arms was difficult but it turned out acceptable. I wanted the keep them for the elbow pads and right glove hand rather than re-use the DOA arms. I painted his blue pants black because he wore his jeans tucked in to his boots. I got around to re-painting Benoit's teeth and adding some stubble. A huge improvement I think.

I'd also say that The Rock not having a true Survivor Series '98 figure in the BCA line was criminal (Sunday Night Heat Series was close, but not accurate enough). Undertaker with his Ministry gear is another glaring omission. Bret in all black. Shawn in black tights. So many to list, but those are the ones that bother me most. BoneCrunchingCustomsHmm...I might have to see what I can do about Mideon. That's a figure I've always wanted, and it shouldn't be that hard to make happen (Taker head + Road Dogg body + decals). Dustin Young a.k.a. therealworldchampion has a great YouTube channel. I'm so glad that he frequents the boards because his videos are some of the most informative that I've come across. I love that Crush! If you hadn't mentioned it, I would have completely forgotten about the sleeves. I think I might actually like Skull better with the flat black color jeans. I'm a believer in teams wearing matching attire as much as possible. I agree that Benoit with repainted teeth and added stubble is an improvement. Somehow, it brings out more in his eyes. Very expressive. Double J is perfectly executed. Owen's legs are definitely better for him, and with all of those part upgrades, it just makes me despise the Jakks version even more lol.

I'm turning the corner on Pillman's torso, too. It must be those decals that sell me on the complete look. I always thought Signature Series 4 Edge could pass for a BCA Jericho, but those HHH parts would never look right for him (or Edge, for that matter). Backlash Series 4 Edge with Patriot parts is a good smaller mold for someone not looking to crack torsos, but there's still no substitute for DOA arms and Shamrock legs. Those are perfect for Jericho.

No customs to bring to the table, but happy to say I finally have an Owen Hart in my collection. Placed him with my Double J with Mattel titles and a slammy. Will take some pics after work!

Great choice! I like that R3 Jericho head the more I see it. SS4 Edge could work in a pinch. The Patriot torso could come in handy I've never really thought about using it because of the real low sitting neck. I finished 1999 Big Show in his trunks. The torso came off of a "New BCA" Undertaker. I thought it gave him good height and thickness despite him being too ripped. I considered the Road warriors torso but this looked better to me. Flipped image to see how he would look with a right chokeslam hand I also painted another Jarrett head and this time experimented with some eye decals from Curb stomp city. I think they look good and they should prove to be useful in the future. I added X-Pac's tattoos I'm working on adding the black sleeves under Jarrett's kneepads Another Double J in the works. i still have to clean up the black and boots a bit.
