I got that Godfather by total surprise, as a Christmas gift. Wasn't even aware of its existence. I loved the figure so much that I made him one of the longest reigning world champions in my fed, lol.

So, WF member meatybat has also added a Backlash Series 5 Al Snow test shot and the unreleased newer BCA style Bradshaw prototype to eBay. I would imagine WF member STOMWIJF will make an offer on Bradshaw, if he hasn't already, since he owns the Faarooq prototype. Man what I would do if I had a lot of money to blow on useless test shots.

I remember those New BCA style APA figures. Shame they never came out.
The released APA/Acolytes figures were hard to find. There's that TTL Ringside Rivals wrestling gear Bradshaw, packed with someone other than Farooq (Test?). To get Farooq in his APA tights, you had to get this big boxset. Two different store exclusives, both of which weren't around for a long time. And DoubleSlam 5 APA was hard to get as it was, and they were in their street gear!

I have a question for the BCA enthusiasts. What was the reason for the 'War tony' Typo on JR's figure?

I wondered the same thing. I asked several pages back, and the consensus was basically that there may have been some trademark issue with "War Zone," or the less likely rumor that it was a stab at WCW's Tony Schiavone. At least I think that's the answer - I don't remember what page that was talked about on!

lol I wish I knew the correct answer, but all I can do is speculate.
Honestly, I wouldn't rule out the Schiavone dig as being the most likely reason.

I remember getting the entire Road Rage set from TRU. I felt like such a big spender buying the entire set at once.

I made an offer on the Bradshaw, doubt he'll take it though.

Good luck with that; I don't think I would even want to give it a try lol. I remember getting the entire Road Rage set from TRU. I felt like such a big spender buying the entire set at once. There really is nothing like buying a complete set, even nowadays buying BCAs online (at least for me). I feel like I would gladly buy doubles of figures I already own if there is a good deal to be had on the entire series. Speaking of which, I hope to come across Signature Series 2 and the Sunday Night Heat series sometime in the near future since I would love to finish those off.

I can't seem to find any good deals on BCA figures now a days. The last BCA i saw was a sig series 1 Austin MOC at a flea market and the guy wanted $18.00 for it.

In a way, I like the fact that collecting BCA figures is under the radar now and has been that way for at least 5-6 years. On the other hand, you don't know what I'd give to see the last remnants still being sold on the pegs at, say, Toys R Us for late 90s retail prices. Imagine if we had elite BCA figures then for like $10 each with all of this added detail, articulation and accessories for the figures.

I bought four of the Mini Rings sets on eBay earlier this week and received them in the mail today. Here's a picture of all four sets - King of the Ring, No Mercy, Royal Rumble and Sudden Threat. I noticed something different about the back of the packaging for the No Mercy set that I thought I hadn't seen before, or I wasn't sure if I'd seen it and forgot. There are prototypes shown for the Shotgun Saturday Night Series 2 BCA figures and I don't remember seeing these images anywhere else. They aren't even shown on the actual back carding of Shotgun Saturday Night Series 2, as seen here. Check them out: I thought it was pretty cool.

Does anyone have any good BCA customs pictures that they may have saved from online in the late 90s? I just added a slideshow of pics to my blog. It's a small sample size of what's out there, but it's a pretty good selection from the old Razor's Edge website.

Unfortunately, I can't access FZ's pages any longer since, according to the Internet Archive, it's been blocked by the site owner via robots.txt.
I used to be able to get to it, but it's pretty much off limits now.

What BCA guy did anyone push when playing with that the WWE wasn't pushing at the time?? For me it was Edge, he was only a 1 time IC Champion in the real WWE in '99 and I already had him winning the WWE Title when playing with him in my federation.

Vader was my heavyweight champion for a long time. That figure was awesome. Toward the end of the BCAs, i found one of my many SCSA's and saw it was from the "Bad Boys" set. Had him, Lawler from the same set and Vader fued for the prestigious championship. It was won by Lawler and subsequently lost to Mark Mero.
