According to the figure guide I got from spam, they have the Backlash series broke down like this. I know its not 100% accurate cause its missing the Al Snow (with black hair and blue tights w/o the tank top) but may help break down series 1 and 2. Series 1 Steve Austin (vest and jeans) HHH (Black pants with silver hHh logo) X-Pac (Tshirt and jeans) RoadDogg Kane (reverse Kane) Undertaker (blue shirt) The Rock Bossman (blue shirt under black vest) Shawn Michaels (Texas flag tights w/ black chaps) Al Snow (black hair, blue tights, black tanktop) Edge Hardcore Holly Billy Gunn Series 2 Hardcore Holly HHH (trunks w/black vest) XPac (red, black, and white) Steve Austin (Stone Cold jersey) Undertaker (blue shirt) Edge (red tights) Test Billy Gunn The Rock Series 3 Kane (tanktop) Edge (blue tights) Billy Gunn (black shorts) Undertaker HHH Steve Austin The Rock Bossman Test Series 4 HHH (blonde hair, pants) Edge (black tights, Patriot body) Billy Gunn (pink tights, Real Scan head) Steve Austin (Owen/Jarrett upper torso) Kane (tanktop) Undertaker (series 7 head, black vest and pants) Bossman Test The Rock Series 5 Hardcore Holly (pink/blue, Crash picture on insert) Rock (Tshirt and trunks) Test Undertaker (black shirt and light blue jeans) Val Venis (RtC attire) XPac (Black with red and silver highlights) That actually helps a lot. What does the Series 4 Test look like (if there is an image)? Also, I didn't know there was a Series 3 Boss Man - does it have an image, too? And Series 5 is missing Snow, like you said, and Austin (in street gear) from that listing. Edit: It's also missing the Deadly Games Series HHH (in blue DX tights) that was re-released on Backlash Series 1/2 carding. Wonder what's up with that... Unfortunately there's no picture for the Test or Bossman figures that you were asking about. They've got most of the Backlash figures pictured, but then have a few names listed after each series that are not pictured. I remember one of the Backlash Test figures was basically a rereleased Test figure, but the pants were painted with kind of a metallic look to them. They were still black, but with some silver mixed in. The only Test picture in any of the sets is from Series 5, but the picture is too small to tell if thats the one that I'm thinking of. Not sure about the Deadly Games rereleased HHH. I don't remember seeing this one on Backlash carding, but thats been about 10 years ago, so i'm sure it just slipped my mind. Are there any other sets or series you need me to check the guide about? I keep meaning to scan these pages off for you, but don't have our scanner hooked up at the moment.

No, I can't think of any that I might need. Whenever you get around to scanning them in is fine by me.
I'd bet Test is the same figure as Series 3 and 5, but I still don't know where Boss Man is coming from in Series 3. I literally have never heard his name mentioned in that series, and I've got all eight besides him.
Oh well, I'll stumble on photos of them eventually if they do exist.

It's better than it has been in the past, but I wouldn't pay those prices either lol.
Anything more than $5-6 and I'll pass without hesitation. It's not often that you see BCA Backlash figure lots, though.

One of Jakks' many errors, that's for sure.
But I still really want that figure, for a decent price of course.

I used to have it, but I sent it to a member on the board not knowing that he was a bad trader. I was trading the BCA Backlash Venis/Crash(Bob) for an R3 Undertaker and Edge.. I got screwed.

I just recently saw a modern Hogan, from his WWE return era (face) in a BCA style. Any info on this figure and if other figures were released?
It didn't seem like the regular Dollar Store style like Havoc Unleashed, but maybe it was. Any info and do they match up with the classics?

I posted a checklist not too long ago in this thread for those newer BCA style figures, including Hogan from Backlash Series 2. There were three Backlash assortments exclusive to KB Toys stores, one Bone Crunching Superstars series, one Road to WrestleMania series, one Snappin' Bashers series and a very hard to find Grudge Brawlers series that was exclusive to Rite Aid stores. There were also a few Stunt Action Ring exclusives with the newer BCAs included. Rikishi, Faarooq and Bradshaw were three that never made it past the prototype stage. The figures were first released in 2001 and ended by August 2004 when Backlash Series 4 switched over to the TTL style. I'll have to take comparison pics sometime to show how they differ from the original BCAs, but I can tell you that they are taller, skinnier (than the later BCA series) and not in scale with RA/CS figures. For instance...

Wrong gear man, thinking of his 2 pack figure with Vader. That's the one you're looking for? It's just a re-release from Superstars Series 2, which was also released in Best of 97 Series 2. If I could have my way, the 2-pack with Vader would have (appropriately) been in his Summerslam '96 black attire. Yea man, that is my major BCA figure wanted at this stage.

Not bad. Hulk was taller in real life wasn't he? True, but it's like that for all of the newer BCAs. Some look good and others just seem too tall compared to the original BCA figures. In other random news, I've upgraded to a larger 105 quart tote for my loose BCA collection. It's a slow transition into an actual display, and for now the see-through tote is as good as it gets.

If I could have my way, the 2-pack with Vader would have (appropriately) been in his Summerslam '96 black attire. Yea man, that is my major BCA figure wanted at this stage. The Series 2 HBK was actually the first figure I had opened around the time I was thinking to rebuild my collection in the summer of 2007. Truth be told, I was going to buy up MOC figure lots and resell them for a small profit back then. I hadn't even thought of rebuilding my BCA collection yet, nor did I have any renewed interest in BCA figures. I received one fairly large lot of MOC figures with the Off The Mat boxed set, Special Edition Yokozuna in white and others included and that's when I decided to open the HBK because the packaging was falling apart. Then I started thinking of buying up only BCAs and creating my own store on eBay to sell them (before I knew of their true value lol), but ultimately it led to me opening up the figures I bought and keeping them for myself. It's amazing to me how much research I had to do to become as familiar as I am with the BCA line to this day. Not nearly as much as you may think (that I know), but over time the interest grew and grew until I wanted to learn as much as possible (and still do). Sure, I enjoyed playing with and collecting BCA figures when I was a kid, but I didn't know half what I know now. I don't think I EVER had the collection I have now either, but I guess those are the benefits of "getting older" lol.

I featured your collection on my blog before; it's definitely one of my favorite BCA collections, along with WF members SlayKnot and dgnr8.
Always good to see it again.
