Can't believe I came across a deal like this just now: two of the original Grapple Gear playsets, Coffin Match and Commentator Central, MOC for $20 shipped. See, sometimes you search for "grapple gear" and you just get lucky.

I found this custom that I did, mixed in with some other figures. Decided I would take some pics and share with my fellow BCA lovers.

That would've been a great HBK upgrade to the bigger torsos and limbs used later in the BCA line.

Thanks. I thought he could use an upgrade lol. The Superstars 1 and 2 head sculpt was kinda dated for his 95 and earlier look, I wanted something that looked more along the lines of how he looked in 97 when he was teaming with Austin against the Hart Foundation. I liked the hair of the Slammers sculpt, but don't really like the way the face looks.
I added the tattoo to his arm and then brushed a little superglue over the top to seal it.

I love the Real Scan heads used for the customs, but Demolition's repainted BCA heads take the cake for me.
Gangrel and Shamrock, right? I think those two would be my favorites of the bunch.

I wish Jakks had made a casket that would have fit RA guys in it.
Now I hope Mattel makes one.

Great deal man. I bought a bunch of the Grapple Gear sets from a friend last year. Have to find them and take pics.

I wish Jakks had made a casket that would have fit RA guys in it. Now I hope Mattel makes one. I know there was one in the DA line that came with 'Taker. It's something that you would have thought Jakks attempted during their creative peak, and by that I mean the TTL line (as far as weapons/accessories are concerned).

I still use the casket to hold the elbow pads and knee pads from my RAs.
I was going thru some boxes and found my old BCA Patriot figure. I wish they would have made a non-slammer version.

Thanks to everone for the compliments. that diesel is ing intense. Thank you. I like the HBK with the IC title. The cool thing about him is he's actually a BCA/Hasbro hybrid. I think he turned out pretty good. If I remember correctly, his arms are glued in place. I had some BCA arms that didn't have the part that attached them to the body, and since I wasn't planning on playing with him, I just glued the arms on the torso and made use of what parts I had. I love the Real Scan heads used for the customs, but Demolition's repainted BCA heads take the cake for me. Gangrel and Shamrock, right? I think those two would be my favorites of the bunch. Yeah, me and my brother started putting the Real Scan heads on some of our BCA's. As awesome as they were already, the Real Scan heads just made them that much cooler. I think the best one we ever did was the Rock. He looked great. I wish I had a picture of him, but don't think I saved the picture. My brother may still have his custom though, if I can find it I'll try to get a pic posted. Yep, its Gangrel and Shamrock. I think they worked out really well. I wish I hadn't sold all my custom BCA's...and my non custom BCA's. Since reading this thread my interest in them has really been renewed. I'd love to have all the ones that I used to, and I would continue working on customs of the newer guys and adding them to my collection.
