Series 2 Bret MOC for 10 bucks is a great deal in my opinion. Are you sure you aren't thinking of series 3 if you grouped him in with Bulldog?

I generally hated all the divas. The only one I had was Jacqueline, because she warmed shelves for decades and there were eventually no other characters I needed. My friend had Sable (identical figure with different paint job and head). We made an interpromotional women's title, that was defended in one federation at a time, and whoever had the title took both girls. The title was won at one point by a dollar store 6 inch Barbie doll (who played The Godfather's Ho in my friend's fed) and the rubber Rey Mysterio that came as a jobber with Goldberg, wearing a toilet paper dress. That was one of the greatest things I've read in this whole thread.

This story reminds me of how Harvey Wimpleman wrestled for the Women's title that time. I didn't use the Divas much either. I think I remember using Sable and Sunny as ring announcers a few times. I used Jackie as a manager for Ahmed Johnson for a short period of time when he turned heel. Chyna managed HHH, but I never used her or the other divas to wrestle with, cause weren't that playable.

He had a few loose bca figures but they looked a little beat up.the loose ones he had were: Billy Gunn - shotgun series 2 with trash can Vader- bad boys series 4 HBK- series 3 - there was a hole in his foot for the display stand. Mankind series 3 Bob Backlund and the Sulton Owen Hart- series 2 Steve austin - bad boys series 4 moc - $10.00 The loose one ranged in price between $3-$7 each I have a feeling the sulton figure will be there for awhile

I never played with the Divas figures either, to tell you the truth.
The lack of articulation was always a drawback, but now I can see past that and really like a few of the sculpts for their simplicity and added detail (Chyna, Luna, Marlena, etc).
Luna would definitely be my favorite; the rooted hair combined with the choice of outfit makes for an excellent representation of her from her days managing Goldust.

I know it sounds stupid as far as being a collector and all, but I'd almost rather have two BCAs instead of 200. You don't need a massive collection to have fun playing with them. All of the repaints and re-releases aren't essential, which gives me an idea for creating a list of the essential BCAs (maybe a Top 100?).

I'm sure we could come up with several themes for essential lists, even down to the color of the ring attire. For starters, I was thinking of a collection of debut figures in the BCA line for each wrestler/manager/valet that was made. It's very Superstars Series-heavy, but that goes to show the importance of the main line. You'll notice character changes or alterations to a wrestler's appearance were omitted; this list is strictly about what came first (please, no Chicken vs. Egg arguments ). Here's the list: Please do correct me if I'm wrong.

^ Wow, seeing that list at first glance, you'd think as you got into the later Superstars series', there would be less and less debut figures and more repaints/re-releases. That definitely wasn't the case with BCAs.
In many cases, in addition to your list, it seemed that re-released wrestlers were often in a completely new gimmick. In THAT list, I can think of -
Owen Hart (King of Harts in series 2, Black Hart in series 6) Rock (Rocky Maivia in series 5, The Rock in series 8) Undertaker (Purple in series 1, all black in series 7, and Ministry in series 9) Triple H (Hunter Hearst-Helmsley in series 4, HHH in series 6) Shamrock (early WWF in series 5, corporate in series 8)
That's just in the Superstars series. Their main series saw a LOT of wrestlers, which is awesome. I dare say it wouldn't be nearly as long in the classic superstars line before you started seeing repaints or alternate versions of the same wrestler.

Are BCAs the figs with the switch on the back, and they do an action?

Are BCAs the figs with the switch on the back, and they do an action? Some of them. The ones with the switch in the back are from the Slammer series. There were only 2 series of them. If i remember right they were going to turn the entire bca line into slammers but they never did.

Dude love and Kane were my two favorite slammer figures.
Slammer series 1 Bret Hart Steve Austin Undertaker Goldust Mankind Farooq
Series 2 Kane Dude Love HBK The Patriot Taka Brian Pillman
I always thought series 2 was better.

Series 2 was definitely better; the sculpts were a little less obtrusive, and four of the six were debut figures (five, if you don't count Pillman's S.T.O.M.P. Series 1 figure), compared with 0 from Series 1. Waiting in anticipation for a BCA Kane was something special, but even just seeing the prototypes on the back carding for the first time was awe-inspiring as a kid.
