Mattel and Jakks Figure (Figure Lines)

Ok, well your point is wrong right off the bat. People who collect Jakks... Please read this and finally understand. Unlike Jakks where they changed the body style every 2-3 years and made you buy your collection over... ALL of Mattels figures are in scale with each other. Deluxe and Ruthless were not in scale with each other. Neither was TTL with RA. Mattels figures are all in scale, and it doesnt matter whether they are Elite, Basic, 2PK, Legends, Entrance Greats, Defining Moments, etc. So there is a MAJOR difference between Jakks and Mattel.

Mattel: We'll make Hornswoggle, Mysterio, and Bourne the shortest of the figures.
Jakks: Undertaker? Evan Bourne? Yea, they're the same height.

Mattel: The fans want newer faces, like Sheamus, Tatsu, and McIntyre. SO that's what we'll give them. Also, let's create a brand new skin color for Sheamus so it's as accurate as possible.
Jakks: Wait, Triple H and Randy Orton have designs on their trunks? Kane has designs too?We were going for a all black look in RA series 43 and 44. You know, the sets with nothing but repainted figures, or I should say, the less painted, let's give up halfway through producing them figures.

Mattel: We're gonna sign huge stars like Macho Man and Ultimate Warrior. Plus, we can get a Legends line out as soon as June/July.
Jakks: Well, we thought we would make Classic Superstars series 28 a memorable set, you know, of all the guys that people already know about.

Mattel: We'll add accessories to the Elite line, and charge $15, that way they get the extra articulation, plus some clothes and things like that.
Jakks: Let's start off with some accessories at first, then about half way through our last year with the WWE, we'll completely cut the figures off with accessories and just throw in some random microphones.


Pretty much Mattel, in my opinion, pays more attention to detail like height and designs/tattoos. They also seem to really listen to the fans and give the what they want.

Oh great another Jakks .vs. Mattel war. I have been a Jakks fan my whole life and I will NEVER desert the company that gave me figures to dump those 2 inch G.I Joes. I like Mattel, they have good stuff but their figures aren't playable like the Jakks one are. The only thing I'm buying from Mattel soon is the Elite scale ring for use with my JAKKS figures. Sure I will buy some Mattel figs after that, but I am never going to leave the fine crew that gives me all those memories. Some people piss me off though, they are Jakks fanboy and then cartoonish Mattel comes out and then they completely ditch and diss Jakks like they suck. Traitors

Some Jakks scans are still good to this day TBH....I prefer Jakks' scans of Edge & Jack Swagger over their Mattel counterparts...Mattel has better scans of Evan Bourne & Ted DiBiase...Mattel has good Elites....They're pretty even to me, I mean, neither Jakks nor Mattel has perfected John Morrison's scan

I made it clear to say nothing about that statement is true but of course some one has to say you made fun of someone.I guess no one understands it and that's why they have to bold the one line of the sentence . I agree 100 % but I dont live my life bitching about plastic toys. I have to go to votech five times a week to live the dream I've always wanted.I would also love the be the father that I never had so I want to make that up to my future children.I have a life besides collecting little plastic wrestlers you know .
