They're toys. Little plastic men and women and people on this site are taking them WAY WAY WAY to serious. Its one thing to collect. Its another to have a hobby but its completely different to live your lives bitching and complaining over a little plastic toy.........designed and sold for CHILDREN! I agree 100 % but I dont live my life bitching about plastic toys. I have to go to votech five times a week to live the dream I've always wanted.I would also love the be the father that I never had so I want to make that up to my future children.I have a life besides collecting little plastic wrestlers you know . Thank you for clearing this up + 1 karma my friend. NO BUDDY!!! You clearly wrote "your a dumbass" The correct way is "you're a dumbass"

this is STILL going on???
People....JAKKS DOESNT MAKE WWE FIGURES ANYMORE I'm tired of people bashing them because of RA43 or CS28.
Someone really said Mattel signed huge names like Savage & Warrior......How many Ultimate Warriors did Jakks make?? and how many of you LOVED those damn Warrior figures. How about Bret? Hogan? Flair? or even Doink, Giant Gonzalez & Papa Shango? Don't even tell me that Jakks Classic line was garbage because the LAST set was turned pretty lackluster. It's not Jakks' fault the WWE never let them sign Randy Savage. I guarantee that. Jakks would have made tons of money off Savage figures, they would have made him if they had the chance.
These same people bashing Jakks were the ones who probably had 300+ Jakks figures. Why? BECAUSE THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT MADE WWE FIGURES. and I remember EVERY time there was a new set of protos there were PLENTY of people who had nothing but good things to say. Lots of sets had some ups and downs...
Guess what??? Mattel IS NOT PERFECT. How about the Superstar Matchups Rey Mysterio?? He's missing tattoos. Or what about the Walmart Randy Orton that came in the pack with Triple H? His trunks are plain red How about the upcoming British Bulldog Legends figure? His torso and arms are TOO SMALL.
Mattel is doing a fantastic job making WWE figures. Some of their things are a little off (scans, arm & torso sizes) but STOP COMPARING THEM TO JAKKS. Jakks IS DONE with the WWE. Mattel is the present and future. That's pretty much the END of the debate.

ahh an old fashioned mini Jakks/Mattel War... You guys don't know how good we have it. back almost 30 years ago, you didn't have too much of a choice it was either LJN or Remco. Now (with certain jakks) You are able to mesh Jakks and Mattels together to have the Ultimate Collection! We are able now to have that collection of guys from TNA, WWE, WWF,WWWF, WCW,WCCW,ECW, NWA, AWA,NJPW and so on. We are extremely lucky Plus we are getting a Macho Man and finally have Sting and Steamboat, lets not forget the Von Erichs. Sometimes we all take for granted how lucky we have it as figure collectors. I totally agree with you. I'm not picky when it comes to wrestlers or who makes them guess I'm a push over. The thought of having the wrestlers you mentioned in the same collection makes my spider sense tingle. Its almost like you have the history of wrestling in our hands. But I don't think this was a debate. I think it was what Mattel series is the equivalent to what Jakks series.

Plus, you had to walk, BAREFOOT, in the snow several miles to get them. Uphill both ways. Damn kids these days are spoiled rotten.

House/ home Dog/ puppy Mr fantastic/ Plastic Man what you think, huh?
What is the point trying to be made? The lines are similar? Okay, so what?

I see your main point, but you are completely wrong about Mattel WWE being designed for children. Elite & Legends figures are absolutely aimed at adult collectors. The inclusion of the 1/1000 belt in the basics are also a tool to pique collector interest. In fact, with the exception of the Flex Force, and the role play items, Mattel WWE's first priorities are adult collectors. If they weren't, Mattel could have put out a product not near what they are producing now.

I have no feelings one way or the other, in all seriousness I like how Mattel pays attention to scale and unique molds as well as the stands not to mention their 1 of 1000 is alot easier to find than Jakks Chase the Belt which I never found and Mattel doesn't make the series one less figure like Jakks did with DA 24 Tyson Kidd and Jericho EXCEPT for no Jeff Hardy in Elite 1 but that was for a whole different reason that's perfectly understandable, I still plan on getting the TNA figures when I find them but WWE Mattel is a higher priority to me

Seriously, how about everyone just shut up and enjoy whatever figure(s) line you like? Honeslty its annoying how people are fighting over TOYS! Collectibles yes, but toys nonetheless.
There is no right and wrong, its all about taste and preference. I have mine and you have your's. Just enjoy the fact two companies can product great products. Each have the flaws also.

There are some Jakks figures that are better than Mattel and some Mattel figures that are better than Jakks.

Why should we have have to limit what we discuss? This is a forum devoted to wrestling figures, so if they annoy you I suggest you may be at the wrong place. People enjoy talking about them from all different aspects, and one of those ways is debate or comparison. It is easy enough to skip over those posts if you do not like them.

If you had a good understanding of english, you'd understand what I said. I think if people want to dicuss Jakks vs. Mattel, fine. Its the mud-throwing and constant fighting between the two extremes that is annoying because it cannot be avoided in any thread in which the two companies are mentioned. Both companies have great stuff and bad stuff. If people can start to talk about it in a mature manner, that is a big step for this board. But it seems like a bunch of 5th graders bitchng and yelling at each other.

Just as was Jakks Classic line and those dumb statue looking things they had. The Basic line however is the same as the Jakks RA line as its directed towards the children audience. Yes Mattel puts more detail into their figures then Jakks did but the early Jakks figures were fairly well detailed in themselves. Jakks did drop the ball later on down the line and its still up for question if Mattel will.
