The Expendables 5.) Iron Man 2 I haven't seen a lot of the summer's biggest movies (Toy Story 3, Inception, and such...)

What was so great about this movie? The writing was terrible. The action was nothing spectacular. The CGI was horrible. I went in with high hopes and left completely disappointed. Jason Statham was the only thing good here.

In a day and age where we get stuck with the likes of action films like Avatar and countless War films that are exactly the same. We get a movie for us men. For the men who dont care about the plot or the mindless story. But we are interested in the action. The random explosions and the chance to see our favorites in the same film together. It wasnt made to win awards or break records. It was made to entertain and its done just that. Don't like it, thats fine. But don't judge our love for this amazing piece of art. We are men.

I mean that's all fine and dandy that you enjoy this movie because you are a man.. But in all honesty.. TECHNICALLY.. This movie was pure garbage.. I went into it with high hopes.. I came out wondering what I just saw.. Trying to figure out when CHEESEBURGER EDDIE became of freakin' action star.. Days after I have seen this movie.. I am upset.. And tbh, if I didn't have Scott Pilgrim to wash this bad taste out my mouth.. I'd still be upset.. I don't mind that it was a big action movie.. That is COOL.. No problem with all of that.. But Stallone tried to add emotion.. Tried to add a story.. And failed miserably.. And like Mx5 said.. the CGI.. OMG that CGI was god awful.. And I might seriously have a higher opinion of this movie if they had actually done better work with the CGI.. Even Austin catching on fire was a joke.. He looked like a cartoon! I'm not hating on you for loving this movie.. To each their own.. But honest to god.. This movie is not the best movie ever.. Or the best action movie ever.. It's not even top 10.. PS I hated Avatar so much I never saw it..

I just hope the movie theater was able to clean up any jizz I may have left behind from seeing this movie last night. My mind was exploded from the awesomeness. Bottom line, this movie OWNS!!!

You don't have to be close-minded to know how overrated Avatar was.. Maybe I just dislike the whole concept.. Maybe I hate James Cameron.. I'm obviously not a huge movie goer like you bro.. I mean My top 5 for 2010... 1.) The A-Team 2.) Hot Tub Time Machine 3.) The Other Guys 4.) The Expendables 5.) Iron Man 2 With a top 5 LIKE THAT! You have to have an open mind and extremely informed opinions.. I mean.. I haven't seen a lot of the summer's biggest movies (Toy Story 3, Inception, and such...) Not seeing Inception yet? And such? Yea.. Fellow "movie goer"..

But I haven't gone out of my way to rip on it like you did with Avatar for absolutely no reason. And I'm glad you care enough about my taste to rip on my top 5; however, your opinion of my top 5 couldn't mean less if it came from a monkey.

Saw it last night...perhaps I shouldn't have seen in on a Friday night, since I was too tired and slept through most of the shooting-up-the-dock scene. But it's far from Stallone's best work. And the fight scenes were difficult to watch, not for the violence, but rather the cinematography. And, as is the problem with most ensemble casts, certain people didn't really get a chance to shine.

Just got back from seeing it, thought it was awesome. Just a really fun, nostalgic movie. I loved Arnie's jungle and Sly's President references. Pure gold.
My top 5 of the year, though -
1. Iron Man 2 2. Toy Story 3 3. The A-Team 4. Kick-Ass 5. Sherlock Holmes
