It's your basic 80's movie plot. Dudes going into a country to kill and to overthrow a dictator. It's just genius.

If you see Eat Pray Love or Scott Pilgrim, the theater's ushers will slice your throat where you sit. Or stab you in the neck with a meat thermometer.

Well this film ruled. Biggest pops at my theater were Terry Crews busting up with the AA12 at the end and Jet Li kicking the dudes head off.
However my theater wasnt packed and Scott Pilgrim was, therefore my prediction of Pilgrim beating Expendables is that much closer to correct.

This is the beginning of the greatest night of my life. Everything I have ever done has been for this moment.

I saw this at midnight, I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed. Go see this movie as soon as possible or else your man-card will be revoked.

THE. GREATEST. MOVIE. MY. EYES. HAVE. EVER. SEEN. Just plain ing AMAZING. Loved every single second of it from beginning to end. SO violent, lot's of "holy $hit" moments. The only downside I had was my crowd, a bunch of ing losers who had to make some stupid comment every 15 seconds. I'm gonna have to give it a second view to get the full experience! EXPLOSION!!!!!

That's the biggest downside on seeing midnight showings. I had the same jackass at my theater trying to make himself the show. Nobody laughed at a single comment he made.

Everyone should already be seeing it a minimum of 3 times a day as it is. So multiple viewings shouldn't be a problem.
I just finished cooking 12 pounds of bacon to eaat as a snack during the film.

Just got back from watching it. me its awesome. So much violence, ass kicking and explosions. Randy Coutore and Steve Austin beating the crapout of each other, on the big screen. Just absolutely epic, I felt like punching random people in the face as I walked out.

Excellent movie. Hopefully Van Damme is in the second one.
And was it me or was Stallones Expendibles tattoo the fastest tat ever done. HAHA. Says "Expen" then 2 lines are said and "dibles" is done.
Did anyone else notice Big Nog in the movie. He's towards the begining in the jungle one of the bad army guys.

My dad was supposed to take me today but he had to take his car into the shop so we couldn't go. But he said sometime next week we'll go.
I really can't wait to go.

Spoilers ahead!!!Random thoughts after seeing the movie: I wanted to perform massive choreographed fight scenes immediatly afterward. Sucks that Austin got shat on in the movie. Not only was he not an Expendable (which I did know beforehand), he would be lucky if all of his lines filled one whole page. Somehow he's the only star of the movie to die. Dissapointed in his role. But the best line though, "Listen here, you trailer park trash!". Also, it was pretty empty for an opening night. About 20 others if that, besides me and friends. Its not looking good for the gross. Unless its because I went to a theater in a neighborhood that doesnt quite mix with the movie (I feel everyone besides me and friends were there just to see Terry Crews, if you catch my drift). Other then that, I think Scott Pilgrim is giving Expendables a run for its money. Sly and Arnold on screen was pretty surreal. I felt like I was witnessing history. The role Rourke played was incredible. For as minor of a role he played (compared to the bigger picture), he really stole the show. I feel too much time was spent on Sly. I know its his movie, and he was the leader, but whats the point of the ensemble cast if we gotta see his penciled on goatee and eyebrows for the majority of the time? It also didnt look good on Statham, since virtually he was reduced to being Sly's sidekick. But Statham really delivers reguardless (as always). Some of the jokes were more cheesy then funny though. I laughed at about 1/3 of every joke. Alot of the jokes (to me) just kind of felt like insider jokes that is funny to nobody but the Expendables. The action was the ing best! I dont see any other movie topping this action anytime soon. lots of Cringe-worthy $hit! Was it the best movie ever? No. Did it live up to the hype? For the most part. Would I like to see a sequel? Yes please.
