For straters i know the new Mattel RSR is technically "to scale", but does anyone here feel that the ring just seems a little too big. I have the jakks real scale and even that seemed a little too large in comparison to the size of the figs. I know the dimensions of the two are pretty exact but the Mattel figs are even smaller than the jakks so i feel it would seem even larger.

This is the third time... The ring is in scale with the figures, not an actual ring. It's incredibly accurate to actual rings as well, which are measured like TV's. The 20'x20' is corner to corner. It might be too big for play. My little brother is 8 and can't reach the back of my Jakks RSR, and if you're a fat adult I'm sure it's even harder. If you do play with your figs, I'd imagine that a superplex would have the figs landing about in the center of the ring, like real life.

Yeah the ring might be accurate-to-scale but it does feel "too big" for play or display. Hypothetically speaking if you want to display your figs, you could fit Mattel series 1-20something in the ring easily...it's THAT big. Not sure what it feels like for playing in.
I'd prefer a slightly smaller "accurate" ring myself, 18"x18" would be perfect.

I love the Mattel ESR. I received mine from WWEShopzone yesterday. I do hope they don't follow the Jakks path by making you buy another ESR with things like the HIAC or the EC. I hope those are just add-ons.

This is the third time... The ring is in scale with the figures, not an actual ring. You have no idea how upset I am that you had to point that out. I know we have some young members here but young is no excuse for dumb... I really think some members think that "real scale" and "elite scale" both mean that the rings are meant to be scaled to their bedroom desks or something. Even more upsetting is that it still won't get through to people.

obviously i understand there in scale with the figures , I and a few others are just pointing out that it really doesnt seem to be "in scale" with the figures.

I think anyone who's terribly concerned about a slight scale difference is probably thinking too much about it

Yes it is too big IMO. It should be more like 20 x 20. Maybe even less than that.

I've been in a few rings at least 20 times (I used to train in the building where Mickey Rouke had his first match in the wrestler aka The Pioneer Club) Indy Rings are about 14x14, 16x16, 18x18 WCW was 16x18 ECW was at first 16x16 then it was 18x18 (the Real ECW btw) TNA's 6 sided ring (which i was in) was 14x14x14 (I think that is the correct term for it idfk xD) WWE is 20x20 but lately the ring looked like it was 18x18 but idk, maybe its just my TV or maybe they use A LOT of space from the barricades to the ring. anywho, I can't friggin wait to get this ring! it looks amazing in my eyes and I hope they make Accessory packs and cages separately like Jakks used to do with the Hardcore ring........Great times
