Any given fast food item has about a bajillion chemicals. Same with any soda, cigarettes, and basically anything else. What makes drugs addictive? The chemicals, and our bodies becoming biologically dependent on them. People can become dependent on sodas, fast food, etc. and the chemicals in them. Are we all drug addicts in the end?

Nope. The day that I develope a crippling dependency on an actual narcotic or perscription, is the day that I refer to myself as an "addict".

Not sure where you're going with this. Our bodies are biologically dependent on oxygen to survive. That doesn't make us oxygen addicts.

That's true, plus with substances that thr OP is referring to, people who are dependent on them can be weaned off then rehabilitated, whereas we can't be weaned off of oxygen.

They have tried in the past, but it has always proven fatal.

All I know is I no longer eat any of that stuff and I've never been healthier.

Addiction isn't exactly as clear cut as just outright dependence.

I love Baconators but I can go many days....even weeks without them. An addict can barely go minutes to hours without something. I can eat healthy for a week to a month if I wanted. I choose not to though.

not at all. I am straight edge. I don't do drugs. I don't drink alcohol. I don't smoke and cigarettes generally disgust me. I don't drink caffine sodas at all. I rarely eat fast food.
so no, "we all" aren't drug addicts.

And those microwave pizzas. and playing basketball. and doughnuts. but its not the same, I can quit any of those anytime I want.

...did you read the original post? Yes, since he mentions that he doesn't drink soda or eat fast food. B there was no need to mention he's straight edge, this thread isn't about "actual" drugs.

Yes, since he mentions that he doesn't drink soda or eat fast food. B there was no need to mention he's straight edge, this thread isn't about "actual" drugs. True as that may be, AdamBomb's comment is incorrect since the extra comment at the end makes it clear that WCWA Online had read the post.

Until I start to beg people for a Baconator and a Dr. Pepper in exchange for sexual favors. Then no. I am not addicted or dependent on them.
