I've read a thread in the other Brands Thread, where somebody wrote that he thinks that the ToyBiz TNA Figs were better then the actual MATTEL WWE figures - and after looking at the Sharkboy figure from my son I have to say: Elite's are still missing some articulation: THE FINGERS DON'T MOVE!
Well I don't mean that every finger has to move for itself like some of the Spider-Man figures from the past does (would be the perfect articulation in my opinion) - but let them move together as one POA (and snap back into fist position), so that EVERY figure can hold foreign objects/microphones/title belts. Why have a permanent fist, with which you cannot play anyway (OK, sorry: you can use it for punching).
Wouldn't this be a good idea for an advanced Elite series?
What do you think?

Too much articulation isn't necessarily a good thing. Granted articualted hands would be sweet, but ToyBiz TNA went so far as to articulate the toes!!! What a totally useless joint for wrestling figures. Plus too much articulation lead to wet noodle figures in the long run.

I've always hated the fingers articulation. So I'd prefer if they just stayed away from that.

R3s had that finger articulation and I actually did like it. I've even customized a few of my Mattel's with R3 hands and even made the other fingers able to move by making a cut into them which works great. I definitely do not think it is needed but it would be cool if they did it.

I don't think it's really necessary. I do wish they would fix the wrist joint on the Diva figures though so they can bend.

Dear Mattel, please don't listen to MicroMax. The Elites we have now are perfect, please don't give them more articulation because the ToyBiz figures sucked.

Honestly, the leg articulation for Jakks is better than Mattel. I feel I have more options in posing a Jakks figure leg-wise than I do with a Mattel.

I hated the finger articulation (and toes on Toy Biz figures) And I hated it on Jakks R3's.
Personally I was thinking that it would be cool for people who display their figures that some came with interchangeable hands. I know with the safety regulations it'll probably never happen because of it being a potential choking hazard, but wouldn't it be cool if you could pose Superfly on a turnbuckle with his hands in the I love you pose? Sarge saluting or Savage with his thumb and index finger together with the other three sticking out like they were when he'd say "Oh Yeah!" or "Can you dig it?" Piper doing his eye pokes? All would be fun/cool for displaying.

Firstly, I'm a huge fan of the Toybiz TNA line, but I think I'd have to give the nod closely to Mattel's Elite. If they had double jointed elbows and not $16 it wouldn't even be close really.
About the finger joint. I like it on some like Raven, where he could hold something or make a fist. Hated it on most like Sonjay Dutt where it could do a chop or have a goofy looking fist with the fingers extended. Either way Sonjay wasn't holding anything.
And the toe joint was just rediculous, and added cost. Made worse when one is loose and constantly points down.

fingers are ehh. If you can close and open the hand then that wud be cool. I also hated the toes. but overall I am just happy with elites and I don't want anymore changes made

Dear Mattel, please don't listen to MicroMax. The Elites we have now are perfect, please don't give them more articulation because the ToyBiz figures sucked. Sculpted pads, all details, QUALITY (I must point this out) Paintjobs on figures, Exclusive sculpts, awesome accessories for only 10 dollars. Not to mention more articulation than Basics. I agreed with the guy 100%. Toybiz' beats the living out of Mattel.

The only articulation that I feel would be a nice touch for the Elite line is double jointed elbows. I could really see that being helpful. The vvery last thing they need is toe articulation. The d@mn things can't stand already.
