contact ringside instead of making a post about it here would have been the first start. second would have been to contact them before the purchase to make sure you got a set that was in the condition you were looking for.

I would never order anything on-line if I was a MOC collector because there's no way of guaranteeing they'd arrive MOC. Even if they were packed perfectly too many things can happen between the time it left RSC and the time it arrives at your house. The more people that have to handle you box the more risk there is.
I worked at UPS for 12 years before I was injured and saw boxes crushed in belt jams, run over by trucks, sat on, stood on, kicked, thrown, crushed by heavier boxes when the loaders build the trailer walls. There's no way a online store can guarantee packages not getting damaged during shipping.
If I was a MOC collector the only way I'd order on-line was if I paid for Next Day Air shipping. Or if it was something I really wanted I'd just order them to guarantee I'd have them. And if they arrived with damaged cards I'd wait to find them locally and swap the damaged cards for new mint ones.
