-sigh- Last Night.......
*facepalm*
It is so sad to see how low he has gotten, he is one of the best of all time, the guy is 60 years old and was bleeding like a stuffed pig, Near enough striped naked in the damn match. Nobody wants to see ric flair do that, and if you do you're obviously not a fan of Ric Flair. During the match i was thinking of his match with hbk. I don't want to see ric flair in that stupid type of match ever again.

I'm a Ric Flair fan, and I liked it. He's still entertaining to me, and he made me laugh with his ridiculous face bumps and shit.

While the match wasn't very good, it wasn't much that he didn't do in his prime. My biggest problem is he shouldn't have matches on free TV.
Also, it's stuck pig, not stuffed.

I'm the biggest, self-admitted Flair fan in the world(exaggeration lol), but either way, guy's my favorite of all time, greatest pro wrestler to ever live in my mind...but last night was a real shame to see.
At first I loved the idea of him wrestling a street fight in a "$2500 suit", very "Nature Boy", and of course figured he'd be stripped down to just pants, but I was pretty disgusted with everything getting torn off, and how he ended up bleeding like a hemophiliac at the conclusion of the match.
Flair deserves better. Period. And it's a shame to see him stooping this low and agreeing to ridiculous bookings like these. Like LtD73 said, he felt like the most important thing going in his match with HBK, he was THE MAN, the legend, and now...God I feel like I'm watching his horrendous WCW run all over again.

Found this... There are two versions, bleeding like a “stuck” pig, and bleeding like a “stuffed” pig. The stuck pig version appears to be the most common by far.

As bad as Flair is in the ring, the guy is still entertaining as hell.

Honestly, I was so embarrassed watching Ric Flair last night, and I am a huge fan of the man.

You say the first part as if you grew up on the memories of his REAL legendary matches and then mention.........Wrestlemania? What about Sting, Steamboat, Funk, Race? Like the post above me says, if you kids dont like watching an old man, change the channel.

Flair's match with HBK at Mania was one his his finest moments, and WAS a defining moment in his career and even in pro-wrestling history as far as I'm concerned. I only say was, because him wrestling in TNA pretty much screwed it up imo.

You stick the same exact match on Backlash and people would say it was "just a decent match" Same goes for about 80% of Mania matches.

You stick the same exact match on Backlash and people would say it was "just a decent match" Same goes for about 80% of Mania matches. Wow. That's pretty flawed logic. "Take away the title from Iron Shiek vs. Bob Backlund, take it out of MSG, and stick it in a small venue in Memphis, and nobody would care about that match." Well duh. You take away the most special aspect of a match..and it isn't special anymore. Ric Flair, one of the true pioneers of wrestling, is winding his career down and is going for one more flash of glory Shawn Michaels, who is considered one of the greatest pro wrestlers who ever lived, alongside Ric Flair himself, grew up and aspired to be as good as he is, BECAUSE of Flair. They meet at pro-wrestling's "Superbowl" Flair's career and legacy are on the line, battling Shawn's fighting spirit and sense of pride. What the hell isn't special about that? Because it didn't happen in 1985? Give me a break.

I'm a huge Ric Flair fan. I loved his work with Race, Steamboat, Rhodes, Koloff, Magnum, Garvin, Savage, Windham, Inoki, HBK, Briscoe, Funk...I think you get my point. He is the only man in wrestling history with a resume like this....simply unmatched.....with that said, Ric has put himself in the position he is in today. He could be sitting on a fortune, but instead, he is playing the clown while Hogan, who couldn't lace up Flair's boots, won't break a hangnail. Ric blew his money, and as much as I hate to say it, he is the wrestling version of these old guys you see at gas stations or working in restaurants because they can't survive without that. It is a shame. If TNA had half a brain they would treat Flair like an elder statesman and realize the credibility he brings to them in that role, but like so many before, they seem content to erode his legend until only a handful of us remember how truly great he was,
