Just heard that UFC 123 is going to be in Chicago and I'm thinking about going. What's the best way to get tickets (box office or website)? What are the ticket price ranges? Is it worth it to go see UFC live? I'm afraid of not being able to see because of the cage and end up just watching it on the big screen.

Ticketmaster.com works well.
I paid $105 for my tickets to 119 in Indianapolis in September. I think they were the third cheapest.

I was at the last Chicago show. The biggest question mark is if it will take place at the Allstate or the United Center, & it will make a big difference. As far as tickets are concerned, the show sold out in a matter of minutes. Mainly because a huge portion of the tickets were sold through the fight club & presales. I was online ready to order the second they went on sale & nothing could be found below $500, & there were 4 lower prices. We got ours from stubhub the same day & were raped on the prices. If they go to the UC, they will have about another 7,000 tickets, so I'd just get them online. If its at the Allstate, I'm seriously considering going to a box office. There isn't a bad seat in either building, so don't worry about that. And seeing the UFC live is amazing. It will be well worth the money you fork over.
