Terry Taylor was a very good wrestler in the nwa very solid in the ring, went to the WWF was made a laughing stock when he turned face as the red rooster and had a 2nd stint as a heel jobber terriffic terry Taylor

I guess I'll be the first one to say I'm not impressed.
Jeff - The best figure of the set. I love the new scan and the colors. Everything just looks great about it. This is a must buy for me.
Andre - WTF? lol He looks so weird with the long head. I was never a fan of him anyway but this is a pass.
Terry - Never was a fan of him either so I'll pass.
Joe - Something just looks odd about him. I also don't ever remember it saying "Samoa" on his tights. I think this will be a pass unless the final version looks better.
AJ - Again he just looks really strange. The head looks like it might be a bit to big. Just like Joe this will be a pass unless the final figure looks better.
Cornette - Looks good but I've never liked the guy so he'll be a pass.

Taylor, Cornette and Andre are cool. In my opinion, the other three should not be here. Are joe, aj and hardy already legends? I think they were placed here to satisfy TNA RA demand. It also looks like Jakks has decided to do 3 TNA wrestlers from 2000's and 3 NWA, NJPW, etc. wrestlers per set. For example:
Series 1
Historic: Sting, Hogan, Jarrett
TNA 2000's: Angle, Nash
Series 2
Historic: Andre, Cornette, Taylor
TNA 2000's: Hardy, AJ, Joe

Cornette, Giant, and Taylor are legends. The other three though NOT a chance they are Legends, not yet anyway. Sad how in series 2 they had to pull current roster people to fill the set.

Then its possible that they cant. Unless his early days and his 87 heel days are considered to different looking gimmicks. I just know they can have the same wrestler under contract. If this is correct, then JAKKS may be able to make a Steamboat, Savage or Kerry Von Rich, is this what you are saying? I think as long as Steamboat, von erichs, & Savage didn't sign Legends deal, I think they could sign on with Jakks also. HOWEVER, I'm pretty sure Erichs & Steamboat did because of the HOF thing. |

good lord that Joe is awesome, i'm passing on the rest but i love that Joe, if i still had my classics i would have gotten Cornette but im gonna stick to Joe for this set

Terry Taylor is for sure the gem of this set.
Cornette is a nice surprise to see.
Andre is one of those figures I thought for sure would be in the Mattel legends line, but I am glad JAKKS got him first.
Lookinf forward to the first 2 pack with the Steiners in it. I am glad they decided to wait on Scotty Steiner and put him in a 2 pack instead of a singles release.
If JAKKS is going to be putting "non-classic" wrestlers in their Legends line, I hope they bump up the number of people in each set. I hope too, that they don't start flooding the Legends line with current TNA roster guys like they have in the first 2 sets.
I hope they release some NJPW and NWA guys instead of current TNA people.
