Damn man. That was so hard to keep the tears back. My uncle came back last year and it was an amazing moment seeing him again since we are so close. Thanks for sharing man.

Nice misleading thread title Someone posted this on FB, it is very touching. It's not misleading, the video shows troops who have come home. I guess because he thought this was be some sort of article about troops withdrawing from overseas. I saw this video on Facebook and I cried like a baby, I am not even going to lie, and I do not cry at much. |

Thats a great video, I love it. Im a single guy with no kids so when I got back home on my 2 week leave from Afghanistan it was nothing like that. I did kind of suprised my Tia (aunt) though. I had a friend pick me up from the airport and drop me off at my house. When I knocked on the door my Tia opened it to see me standing in my uniform. She didn't cry though, I think because my family new I was going to be home for 2 weeks around Thanksgiving time last year. It was the opposite for me. The saying goodbye was when they cried not when I got home. Thanks for sharing this video, stuff like that touches me because I can relate to them.

To be honest I don't see how you could cry at this. I watched videos alot like this all the time but I never cry, I just don't see how you could cry at this especailly since you don't even know the people in the videos... (waits for massive flaming comments to come back at me calling me a heartless scumbag)

My cousin is currently stationed in south Carolina right now preparing to leave for Iraq, and my friend came back from serving in Afghanistan so I understand what is going through the minds of the families who have loved ones serving overseas. |

Love these videos. Got teary at about 5:00 mark.
these are the people I truly have respect for. Really do. And then to see them come home to their families is amazing, real emotions. Puts a tear in your eye and a smile on your face.

Its nice to see a video about people coming home alive for once. I'm Canadian, and I've been hearing about a lot of Canadian soldiers dying in Iraq lately. This was a nice change, and JR that's cool man. Respect.
