So this is most likely photoshoped and all but still, you can see it in the videos, he has lost weight and looks mean, I hope he shows up like this, so anyone here giving Toney a chance at all? It's only gonna take one punch to send Couture down, my thing is will he follow up? Anyway your thoughts on this fight?

Wrong. The photo on the left is the Photoshopped picture. I just don't see him winning. If he comes out in the traditional boxing stance, he should expect to get his legs kicked to all hell. Honestly, how is this guy going to react to kickboxing-oriented strikes? I remember Olympic Gold Medalist Ray Mercer ing QUITTING a fight for getting head kicked. He didn't even get knocked down. I'm not saying Toney will react like this to leg kicks, but come on. This guy is delusional if he thinks he can come in with just traditional boxing and win easily. There's more to it than that.

I said it was probably PS . I was thinking about the Kickboxing thing and Randy stands long enough to kick him, Randy is getting knocked down if not KTFO, I know it sounds like I'm hyping this "Oh he is only wearing four oz. gloves!" but its true. I'm really hoping he isn't so ing punch drunk that he thinking only boxing will win this, I'm hoping he did his homework and comes with a gameplan. IMO, if Toney can use footwork and avoid the TDS and dodge kicks, its his fight to win.

Also read a story that those 4 once gloves could be bad for Toney as well because he's used to blocking punches with those big boxing gloves. These gloves don't block much more space than your hand would.

Boxing doesn't translate well to MMA, I'm sorry. Look at Andrei Arlovski's constant boxing stance, and he is always left open to strikes. Toney is much more accomplished in boxing than Arlovski, but it's really the same principal. I really hope he's done some REAL MMA sparring and not just what he's always done. I don't see how he can win unless he lands a few shots. The gloves won't mean as much as you think. Boxing's gloves are a lot more protective, and bigger, which helped him block a lot of the punches from his previous fights. He also doesn't have any magic 1-punch KO power I have seen of him recently. Couture has gotten better with age in MMA, but Toney has diminished in relevance over the last few years in boxing.

Now i'm one of Toney's biggest fans on this board but even I will admit he can be delusional at times...................ok all the time.

He'll strike with him as long as he needs to to get the takedown and push him up against the fence. That's what Randy is good at.

Why you trying to break me down lol? Anyway, I didn't know that about the left one. See now we can go back to his head movement, he can slip punches really well, now I don't know how well that will work in........well whatever stance he will be using. I do think the lighter gloves can be bad for him if he comes in slow and sluggish like he has somewhat lately but, I still think the gloves will play a big factor, we all know that Randy can't take a really solid shot, and like I said the first shot will most likely DROP him and my fear is Toney won't go in for the kill.

I think that Randy is very smart and will take him down and pound him out but I think what will be the most intersting factor is what will toney do after this fight, will he come back stronger and improve his ground and overall mma skills or is he just going to get frustrated.

I don't think he has a prayer against Randy Couture, no matter how good of a boxer he is. Once Randy gets him down and he will, it's "Lights-Out" for "Lights-Out". Randy will choke his ass out. Mark my words.

This guys trash talking is almost as funny as Sonnen's...I would love to see Toney win, but I think it's unlikely that he will.

This may be just me and I know Randy won't do it, but I'd love for Randy just to rush at Toney, grab him and suplex his ass to the mat before Toney even knows what hit him. Welcome to the UFC.
But instead I expect to see exactly what James Hetfield described with Randy winning by submission. No matter what though, I'll still be nervous that Toney will land that one shot and put Couture down. I'd hate to see that, as a massive Randy Couture fan.

I don't know, Couture on top of Toney the whole match and then finishing him pretty fast would be kind of an uninteresting fight...I'd love to see like the first round stand up...and then see where it goes from there in the next rounds. I am not a fan of either two fighters, but I don't dislike either, either.

Sorry for double posting, but both pics look photoshopped. Look at his stomach on the right photo...pretty bad cutting I'd say.

I just can't root against Randy in this one. Simply because every idiot boxing fan will think this fight suddenly proves one sport is better than the other. I want Randy to win, and I want him to do it with ease.
Toney only has a punchers chance, which in his case isn't anything to scoff at. Everything else though is stacked against him. I see Randy either tooling him quickly on the ground, or things getting stretched out 3 rounds as Toney is pushed to the brink with exhaustion.
