I know this phrase will become overused in reference to Batista's MMA career but I'll give it another go.

Yeah I agree he is too old to give MMA a go, but wouldnt it be ironic if he becomes Brock 2.0?

I never want to count out anybody in this sport. Hell, a guy with no arms and no legs had an amateur fight, so anything is possible. Big Dave has the potential to do well, but will he do well? I don't know. To the best of my knowledge, he doesn;t have that high level wrestling background that Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar do. Also at his age combined with the grind WWE put on him, you have to wonder how his body will hold up. He can do it, but I don't see him going to a high level. I don't even see him beating Lashley. But if this MMA year has taught us anything, its that ANYTHING is possible.
Can he do well? Absolutely. Will he do well? Only time will tell.

A lot of guys in MMA have taken steroids, but that's another argument.

I agree with everyone that time will tell and we will have to see how he does but I also have to admit that he has a lot of cards stacked against him

His age definitely doesn't help him but he's training with a good camp and seems like a hard worker or trying. Guess if he doesn't fight with Lashley there is always Herschel Walker lol

I think Batista honestly has a chance and when he debuts ill be watching and hoping he does well. K5 alot of people said that about Brock Lesnar and now he's at the top of the game |

Im not 100% sure but Im pretty sure he actually does have some background I dont really remember the name of the martial art that he did/does but I remember seing a video online. |
