Basically im going on holiday for 2 weeks on Saturday, and im planning on getting these books.
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Girl who played with fire Girl who kicked the Hornets nest.
They're all by Steig Larsson, I've heard the film adaptation of Dragon Tattoo is really good.
So questions for people who have read these books,
Are they a series (If so what order do they go in) Which is the best of the 3? What is your overall opinions on the books

They are a series. You have them in the right order on your list and they are amazing. Read them.
Larson, unfortunatly, passed away after he finish Hornets Nest.

I just wanted to be sure you didn't read it in the wrong order. I work at a Barnes and Noble, so I do it at work all day too.

I'm currently reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo after having it recommended to me by nearly everyone I know that reads. I'm not too far in (about two hundred pages or so), but it's getting quite interesting. I'll probably read the others once I'm done.

I heard Dragon tattoo starts off really slow ^^^^^^ Has it picked up in those 200 pages? It does start off quite slow. It's still pretty slow where I'm at, but it's certainly interesting, I wouldn't say I'm bored by any means.. I'm just starting to get into the thick of the real plot, it's really been about establishing the characters up to this point.
