Hello. I was just wondering what is the best marker for autographs that will stay on the figures and not smudge or ware off. Cuz i know there are a few more markers that will indeed be no good for figures.

These are without a doubt the best. I wouldnt even think about using anything else. Sharpies are terrible on the plastic.

Never use sharpies for autographs.

Expensive as hell....about $4-5 per color. And IT IS PAINT! So beware. If the talent doesnt know how to use it right, it will drizzle paint out.

Apparently Ric Flair doesnt. I was going to have him sign my 24/7 figure with a pink one and I made sure it was working before I got to the table. Well he couldnt get it to work so he handed it back to me then signed it in blue sharpie. The sharpie looked good but somehow some of the pink paint landed on the bubble. I tried removing it with fingernail polish remover and it got most of it. That kinda sucked but if youre really not looking hard at it its not really noticeable.
I do have a Dusty classic signd like that in blue and it looks pretty cool.

A few years back my Brother-In-Law was getting Bucky Dent to sign one of the mini plastic helmets they use for ice cream and he gave Bucky a gold or silver paint pen and Bucky somehow got the paint all over his hands and the table.

What color is usually best for the autographs on the figures?
I am guessing black but just not sure how it will turn out

I've met Swagger and Y2j within the last few months, I got a jericho figure signed in Black sharpie, and the Swagger in Silver. Personally i like silver sharpie, but black looks OK too. You might not like these but im going to post a pic of both figs so u can see what they look like in just a minute.

Do you guys know of an easy for the talent to use alternative to the Deco Markers that is not a sharpie? It doesnt take a brain surgeon to use a Deco. Before its your turn, make sure the Deco is pointed downward with the cap on. Shake, shake, shake until its your turn. Hand the Deco with the cap off and ask them to sign. Problems only arise when you arent prepared or the talent thinks they need to shake it up before signing and that causes paint to splash everywhere. Chris Sabin splashed paint all over the ring mats around the ring at a TNA house show. Kurt Angle felt the need to jab it into my US title when it started run low, causing the paint to come out like a faucet. Both had paint on themselves and the area around them.

I'll give this a try this weekend. I'll tell the guys to be a little careful. If not, I can just hand one to Paul London and watch him freak out.
