A large percentage of people in the United States, including members here, fantasize about living somewhere other than they currently do. Now, it's easy to say "I want to live in Texas", as a resident of Virginia, but would you be willing to give up the benefits, whatever they may be (Weather, Taxes, Laws, etc.) of your current State for another?
So, to give the usual "Where do you want to live" question some sizzle, everything considered, what State would you want to move to?

Where I live now. I live 5 minutes from the beach and the weather is wonderful.

Wyoming or any place with lots of space and small towns so I could be secluded with only a few neighbors.

As one who lived in a big city and is currently in a secluded space with only a few neighbors, it gets old after about a year. The safety issue from big to small is a wonderful aspect, but when you go from it taking five minutes to go to the Store to 30 minutes, it gets tiring and ends up eating up as much Money as it does paying more for groceries, bills and a House. But, then again, some people like it more than others, and I can see why.  |

I'm from Maine, and though we do a lot of complaining about the condition of our state, I don't really see myself living anywhere else. Unfortunately, my chosen field is going to be tough to swing around here, but I'm going to do my best to make it work.
I spent three months living in Massachusetts and absolutely hated it, though I love hanging out there. I'm just so used to the small town idea that anything else just sort of overwhelms me unless I'm just visiting.

I'd like to get out of New York at some point, right now it's not in the cards though. Where I'd like to go, well that's a tough question, because as far as I've seen, everywhere I've traveled to is the same stuff. Just roads, buildings, and people. I guess Massachusetts would be a possibility, or Connecticut, probably sticking around the Northeast though. If I were to venture south, I would probably end up in Florida or Texas.

I'm happy where I live now. I have a house with a minute (literally) walk to the beach. My family and friends are here I'm 2 hours from Boston, 2 hour from Portland, and an hour or so from Portsmouth. I live in a great neighborhood. I just wish I had a bigger piece of land.

Some place that's usually warm all year around and has very few people, like a small town where everybody knows everybody. I'd also like to have my own farm.

I got a brother who lives in Maine and have been out there to visit him on many occasions and I gotta tell you, it's beautiful. There is a reason they call is vacationland. It's quiet and peaceful and probably the best part of New England I have been to. |

i love ontario, but it's winters are just too cold for me. i'd probably look into california, somewhere south.
