Jim Ross: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. I'm Jim Ross alongside my broadcast colleague Jesse Ventura. Before we get underway, we would like to send our condolences to the World Wrestling Federation family and to Gorilla Monsoon especially over the loss of his son, WWF referee Joey Marella to a tragic accident earlier today. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Jesse Ventura: I've known Gorilla Monsoon for years and my prayers are with you tonight Gino.
Hulk Hogan's music plays and he comes out to the ring.
Hulk Hogan: Last week, I said I would find a pure woman to be at my side to counter the evilness of Ric Flair's manageress Woman. She will act out against Woman should she do anything to hinder my chances at becoming World Champion. Well, I did just that. I found the purest woman I could find. So let me introduce her to all of you. You know her very well, the beautiful Miss Elizabeth.
Elizabeth comes out and joins Hulk Hogan in the ring. The two pose and then they both go to the back.
Jim Ross: Woah, he sure was right about purity. Miss Elizabeth exudes class and elegance.
Jesse Ventura: Class and elegance? Please she's no better than the women in the crowd tonight.
Jim Ross: How can you say that about her?
Jesse Ventura: I only speak the truth Ross.
Jim Ross: The truth? You've got to be kidding me.
GMC: Now entering the ring, weighing 298 pounds, hailing from Chattanooga, Tennessee, The United States Champion, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy. His opponent weighing in at 228 pounds, from Amarillo, Texas, Dennis Stamp.
Jesse Ventura: Look at that, Dennis Stamp is booked.
Jim Ross: Indeed he has been.
Jim Ross: I'm standing here at the interview station, please welcome the World Heavyweight Champion, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair.
Ric Flair and Woman comes out and joins Jim Ross at the interview station.
Jim Ross: Nature Boy, what do you have to say about Hulk Hogan's announcement of having Miss Elizabeth in his corner when you two face off?
Ric Flair: Oh I've had my run-ins with Elizabeth before and I this time it will be no different. I still have that picture of her that I was going to show off to the world one afternoon in Indianapolis. WOOOO. So she better be on her best behavior or I can take out that old picture and show it to everyone here in WCW. And her old man won't be able to stop me this time. And if she does get out of hand, I have Woman here to take care of any problems that may arise during the match. She's got my back. And that's all I need. WOOOO. Come on, let's go.
Flair and Woman leave and we go to commercial.
Jim Ross: Welcome back. I can't believe after these past few years Ric Flair still has that picture of Elizabeth.
Jesse Ventura: Well I for one would love to see the picture. I hope Ric wins and shows it to us all. Oh boy, that would make working with you worth it.
Jim Ross: Mhmm, well you are disgusting, let's get on with our next match.
