HIAC: Swagger winning the dark match is fine. Thje card looks solid for tonight with a great couple of main event's. Big Show over Punk is fine, nice No DQ Opener, Punk moving to RAW make's this victory for Show work. Gail Kim getting a title shot is different but McCool retaining was the right way to go, they're the top of the divas division at the moment. I'm guessing Bearer is the 'Man'. Bryan retaining is fine but Miz is getting beaten alot lately. Triple H winning the WWE Championship is awesome, expecting a rematch at Bragging Rights. Rey Mysterio beating Alberto Del Rio is great and the post-match attack helps out Del Rio's heat. I wasn't a fan of the idea of a 6 on 2 Handicap Match for a PPV but it worked out fine in the end, with Barrett beating Cena in the end, I liked Orton going out before Gabriel, it put the Nexus ahead for the victory. The guantlet match is cool here, I'm not sure on MVP and Mark Henry becoming Tag Champions honestly, but it's something different and I don't think the Uso's or Dudebusters are quite ready. So, I realise WWE stole your idea so, I'm not going to critique the finish of Kane vs. Undertaker as it was creatives, ultimatley Kane winning was the right move to make. Good PPV Event overall, a good ordering of matches too.

-I pretty much always hope CM Punk will win, but I can understand why Show won here. I can also see Punk moving to Raw in the mini-draft -Love that Michelle McCool retained, as I absolutely love LayCool as Champs -Like that Bryan sold his neck injury, but glad he retained. I hope this is the end of their feud as Miz would not benefit from losing/tapping out to Bryan again -Not sure on Triple H winning the WWE Championship, but I get why he won it. Hopefully he's not Champion for too long -At first, wasn't a fan of Rey Mysterio winning, but since Del Rio got to stand tall after, it worked. He gained a huge amount of heat for taking out Rey again and nobody will remember that he lost. Great booking -Like that Nexus won the 6 on 2 match and the Orton elimination was brilliant. I'm intrigued by the masked man in the Nexus shirt, but I don't think they should've had help beating Cena & Orton when they had a four man advantage -Dislike that the Dudebusters lost here and was extremely disappointed that MVP & Mark Henry won the belts. I never liked them as a team and I especially dislike them in 2010 -I like that when Paul Bearer turned on The Undertaker, his powers drained again. It makes sense. I hope 'Taker takes some time off, giving Kane some others to feud with. Hopefully Kane drops the belt before 'Taker returns, so they can end this feud without one of them winning the belt
Very good Pay-Per-View, the only thing I really had a problem with was the Tag Team Title situation.

EWRESTLINGNEWS.COM Reported by Ryan Clark
- At WWE Hell in a Cell, we saw the team of MVP and Mark Henry capture the WWE Tag Team Championships. However, it isn't expected for them to receive a very long reign with the belts, as the WWE are apparently looking to push a younger team into the spotlight by giving them the gold. The youngest teams on the roster are The Usos and The Dudebusters, so either could be receiving the titles soon, so don't get too comfortable with MVP and Mark Henry. It is said that their victory was purely to get the WWE Tag Team Championships on SmackDown for the first few weeks of it's SyFy run.
- With WWE Bragging Rights on the 24th of October, expect Qualifying Matches for Team Raw and SmackDown to begin this week. The Main Event of the Pay-Per-View is already been advertised as the Brand Warfare 7-on-7 Tag Team match. There are rumours that the Captain of Team Raw could be the new WWE Champion, Triple H, cancelling him out of any possible WWE Championship defence at the event. However, the situation will likely be addressed on Raw tonight.
- The Undertaker is scheduled to take some time away from our screens, and the majority believe that he will return to conclude his rivalry with Kane come Survivor Series. It should be noted that Survivor Series shall be the 20th Anniversary of The Undertaker's career with the WWE, so expect something big to go down. As we reported earlier on the site, both Kane and The Undertaker have had rumours of retirement circling around them.
- As we found out recently, the WWE will be producing a third Season of WWE NXT. However, with SmackDown moving to SyFy, the show has been removed from the schedule and will be a WWE.com exclusive show. Eight Rookies have apparently been chosen from Florida Championship Wrestling. The names we can officially confirm are that of Richie Steamboat, Jinder Mahal and FCW Champion, Mason Ryan. All three have officially confirmed that they will be a part of the new season which begins on the 26th of October. Michael Cole, Josh Mathews and Matt Striker are all set to return for the season also.

WWE Hell in a Cell: Sunday 3rd October 2010...Decent dark match win for Jack Swagger against Kofi Kingston, but I think you should advance these dark match showings before pay-per-views to being like WWE.com exclusive. I mean, these guys definitely deserve something to show their apparance on pay-per-view. It could even advance undercard feuds not regarded pay-per-view worthy to be able to advance them. Interesting decision to have CM Punk and Big Show open the show with no disqualification, but I suppose it makes sense. I liked Show overcoming Punk, and that Straight Edge Society didn't get a chance to get Show either. Time for the Society to advance, this feud was absymal. Michelle McCool beating Gail Kim was best, Kim winning the WWE Unified Divas Championship would have been so random. I'd like to see a feud extension with Melina, and perhaps Gail teaming up. Now that'd be an interesting feud. This is the thing with modern date diaries; people don't care for booking them. If given the creative power, you could easily make the divas division as credible as it was earlier this past decade. Daniel Bryan beating The Miz is a fine decision; forgot that Bryan had already won the WWE United States Championship. Hoping for Miz to progress on his Money in the Bank briefcase path now. Decent Hell in a Cell match with Sheamus and Triple H, but it's terrible for Hunter to win the WWE Championship again. I expected him to win it sometime, but I'm begging you not to kill this feud now. I feel this was too soon executed. Obvious win for Rey Mysterio against Alberto Del Rio, all it needed to be. Wonder what's next but I'm sick of Del Rio and Mysterio's feud now, and I doubt Rey after all he went through with Del Rio this past Autumn would try shake his hand. Bad idea, both men need to be moving on. Good handicap elimination match with The Nexus and John Cena with Randy Orton. Obvious we'd get Orton eliminated leaving Cena in peril, but I am surprised by the slightly clean finish. Very good decision. I wonder what's next. I feel as though you could have done something so much more original than the WWE Tag Team Championship turmoil match. We've already had an elimination match on the show. Most of these shows are WWE Superstars quality anyway, you may as well have had a three-way or four-way tag team bout for the belts. The Usos eliminating the Hart Dynasty was a bizarre decision, but so was MVP and Mark Henry reuniting. Guess it's something for both men with no future direction to go in to do. Hoping this marks Jimmy and Jey Uso getting a chance. Solid main event on lastly, with the Hell in a Cell setting the scene thirteen years on nearly. Paul Bearer's rebetrayal on The Undertaker is great too, a good show throughout with plenty of direction going into Bragging Rights.

October 4th, 2010 - Wichita, Kansas
JTG def. William Regal The Usos w/ Tamina def. The Hart Dynasty w/ Natalya ✮We open up to see a quick recap of the happenings at WWE Hell in a Cell from the Raw side. We close on a shot of Triple H standing tall over Sheamus as the new WWE Champion.
CUE OPENING PACKAGE
✮The pyrotechnics explode and the crowd go wild as we are greeted by Michael Cole and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler. They reminds us that last night at WWE Hell in a Cell was a fantastic night, before we hear the theme of the new WWE Champion, Triple H to a massive pop. He comes out with the WWE Title slung over his shoulder and a huge smile on his face. He slaps the hands of fans and then enters the ring before beginning to speak to the WWE Universe.
✮Before he begins, there is a large “Triple H!” chant in the arena. He smiles and nods in appreciation. He begins to speak, saying lat night, he finally shut the mouth of Sheamus inside Hell in a Cell. He was sick of Sheamus boasting about ‘ending his career’ so he did something about it and took the WWE Championship in the process. He says he is very happy about it, but tonight, he has a huge announcement to make regarding WWE Bragging Rights in three weeks. He says “I received an e-mail from the Anonymous General Manager last night after my match – no, Cole, you’re not that special…” The crowd laugh and Cole shakes his head, but can’t keep the smirk off his face. Triple H then says that he has been informed that he will Captain Team Raw at Bragging Rights! The crowd go wild at this news. He then says that tonight, he will make his first acts as Captain, and has issued three Qualifying matches. He says that the matches will be R-Truth versus Drew McIntyre, Chris Jericho versus John Morrison and CM Punk versus The Great Khali. The crowd pop for these matches, but before Triple H can continue, we hear the theme of Mr. Money in the Bank, The Miz to a lot of heat. He comes out with his accomplice, Alex Riley, enters the ring and starts off by saying “Really? Really? Triple H just gets handed the Captain position? Really?”. Triple H shrugs his shoulders. Miz then says “I have been ridiculed by Daniel Bryan, lost my United States Championship after a fluke, get overlooked as a potential Captain of Team Raw, and now, I don’t even get picked to compete in a Qualifying match to be on the team? What the hell is this?!” Triple H looks around and then says that Miz does have a fairly good point, and he would be a valuable asset to Team Raw. He then says he has a proposal, which involves The Miz in a Qualifying match tonight. The crowd boo, but Triple H says he’s thinking about Team Raw as opposed to how much of an ass The Miz really is. The crowd laugh as Miz gives him a dirty look. He says that he thinks The Miz should get a shot, but he can’t think of a good opponent for him. Suddenly - BLEEP, BLEEP! – Michael Cole gets to his feet. He says “If I could have your attention, please – I have received an e-mail from our General Manager”, and gets a lot of heat. He then says “And I quote – The Miz does make a valid point, and as General Manager, I am placing him in a Qualifying match, but since you can’t think of a suitable opponent, Hunter, I will, and I have one in mind. Tonight, our Main Event will be The Miz going up again – you, Triple H!” The crowd pop as Miz looks a bit shocked. Triple H nods his head, liking the sound of that. Cole then says “If The Miz wins, then he will Qualify for Team Raw at Bragging Rights, but if Triple H wins, then The Miz will not get another chance.” The theme of Triple H hits and he leaves ringside, patting Miz on the back on his way out. Miz shrugs him off, looking at him in anger as we fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
✮We return to see a promo package for WWE Bragging Rights, airing on the 26th of October, 2010. We then return to Raw.
Team Raw Qualifying Match – Chris Jericho vs. John Morrison was thrown out John Morrison made his entrance first and was waiting for Jericho to come to the ring. However, instead of appearing from the stage, Jericho came in from behind and brutally attacked John Morrison. He threw him out of the ring before the match could even begin and started smashing Morrison into the announce desk. He went absolutely crazy, throwing him around ringside like a ragdoll. He launched him into the steel steps and then finally dragged him to the front of the announce desk and locked in the Walls of Jericho, refusing to let go, despite the referee’s orders. Other referees rushed to ringside and eventually managed to pull Jericho off and tend to Morrison.
✮Just then – BLEEP, BLEEP! – and Michael Cole is once again called to the podium. He does his usual stuff, receiving heat, and then says “And I quote – this was a disgrace, and has totally ruined the Team Raw plans. Due to this match not getting the chance to take place, NEITHER man will be on Team Raw at Bragging Rights! Congratulations Jericho for ruining your opportunity.”. But Jericho doesn’t even care as he smirks, been dragged away by officials, happy at what he has done to Morrison, who is still in pain on the floor. We then fade backstage.
✮Backstage, we see John Cena in his locker room, apparently preparing for some in-ring action. Randy Orton walks onto the scene to a massive pop. He and Cena shake hands. Cena says that tonight, he’s going out there, and he’s calling out the Nexus member who attacked him at Hell in a Cell and cost them the victory. Orton asks him if he really thinks that Barrett will just hand him over. Cena says he’s counting on it, because if he knows Barrett, he’ll throw anyone in the firing line if it means saving himself. Orton nods his head and agrees, before telling Cena that he has his back. Cena smiles and thanks him. Orton then leaves and we fade to ringside.
✮The theme of the self-proclaimed Co-Unified Divas Champions, LayCool hits and they come out to a lot of heat. They get to the ring, enter and begin to speak to the WWE Universe. Michelle McCool says that she easily disposed of Gail Kim last night at WWE Hell in a Cell, and says that the results would have been the same no matter what diva she faced. Layla then says that LayCool are the ultimate Divas Champions, and no diva from SmackDown or Raw is worth their time. They then drop the microphones and prepare to take on two Raw divas.
LayCool def. The Bellas A regular divas tag team match here, but The Bellas actually showed some sort of potential, but not much. They battled against LayCool with everything they had, but the Unified Divas Champions defeated them in the end when Layla hit Nikki Bella with The Layout for the victory.
✮McCool picks up the microphone again and says that they just proved their point. But suddenly, Gail Kim and Melina rush to ringside and begin to brawl with LayCool to a massive pop. Kim and Melina throw them from the ring and LayCool retreat with their belts. Kim and Melina are far from through with them. We then fade backstage.
✮We see the United States Champion, Daniel Bryan backstage with Josh Mathews. Mathews firstly congratulates him on retaining his title last night at Hell in a Cell, and then asks him if he knows any plans for him at WWE Bragging Rights. Bryan says that he hasn’t got a clue, but he knows that he’ll be in action representing Raw, and he’s going to SmackDown this Friday to scout out the roster, and see who his possible opponent could be. Mathews wishes him luck and Bryan leaves as we fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Team Raw Qualifying Match – CM Punk def. The Great Khali w/ Ranjin Singh via Count-out CM Punk was one of the brand new acquisitions to Raw thanks to the WWE.com Trade, but he was instantly thrown into the deep end and put against The Punjabi Playboy, The Great Khali in this Team Raw Qualifying match for Bragging Rights. He went in headstrong, but that failed as Khali’s power just caused him to be thrown around. Punk was obviously annoyed he had just got rid of the Big Show, only to have to face another giant on Raw. But Punk had the great idea of leaving the ring, grabbing Ranjin Singh and throwing him into the steel steps. The Great Khali leaves the ring, but as he gets onto the apron, Punk delivers a hard clothesline to Khali’s leg, causing him to collapse onto the apron and then crash to the floor, holding his knee. The referee begins to count and CM Punk stomps down on Khali’s left knee. At the count of seven, Punk rolls back into the ring and watches as the referee counts to ten, Khali unable to get back into the ring.
✮CM Punk sadistically smirks as he is named the winner, and is the first Qualifier for Team Raw. He raises his hand in Straight Edge fashion as the crowd boo. We then fade backstage.
✮The WWE Champion, Triple H is seen watching a TV screen, witnessing CM Punk Qualify for Team Raw. He then turns around and walks right into Zack Ryder to a mixed reaction, mostly laughter. Triple H asks him what he wants, and Ryder expresses his desire to be on Team Raw at Bragging Rights. Triple H laughs and puts his hand on Ryder’s shoulder. He then says that if he really wants, he can have a Qualifying match for next week against a superstar who he has contacted who also wants in on the team. Ryder smiles in excitement and thanks Triple H before rushing off. Triple H chuckles and we fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
✮The crowd erupt as we hear the theme of John Cena. He comes out onto the stage doing his saluting taunt and then enters the ring. He then begins to speak to the WWE Universe. He says that last night, he and Randy Orton were defeated by The Nexus, and he was personally attacked by a masked member of The Nexus. He says he is going to get straight to the point and call out The Nexus right here, right now, and demands a match between himself and the masked member. There is a moment of pause before the theme of The Nexus hits to a ton of heat. All seven members come out, but the masked member is nowhere to be seen. They line up on the stage and Wade Barrett begins to speak. He says that last night, John Cena shouldn’t blame his loss on anyone but himself. Barrett says he is a failure to these people, and a pathetic excuse for a human being, he and Orton got what they deserved. Cena talks back, saying his fans are loyal, and he would do anything for them, and they understand that he fought with everything he had, only to be screwed over by The Nexus yet again. Barrett laughs and says that Cena needs to look in the mirror and realize that he just doesn’t have the ability to defeat The Nexus, and offers him a chance to join them. Cena looks around and says that he will never join The Nexus as long as he is breathing, and will continue his war against them until he has removed them from the WWE. Barrett shakes his head and says that Cena will never learn. He then says that he has decided to grant Cena his requested match against the newest member of The Nexus, and here he is. The Nexus part and create an opening as their theme hits again. From behind the HD set walks out none other than Michael McGillicutty! He is wearing a Nexus armband and t-shirt and storms towards the ring as Cena looks on in disbelief, clearly shocked that McGillicutty would stoop to such a level. The Nexus follow him to ringside and surround the ring as this match gets underway.
John Cena def. Michael McGillicutty w/ The Nexus In this impromptu match, McGillicutty had a huge chance to shine to his new Nexus peers. However, that didn’t exactly go to plan. McGillicutty took an early advantage, Cena clearly unnerved by the rest of The Nexus surrounding the ring, not entirely focused on McGillicutty. He made several attempt to cover Cena, but only got two counts. At one point, McGillicutty set Cena up for the Perfect Plex, but Cena inverted it and hit a fisherman suplex of his own. Suddenly, the theme of Randy Orton hits and he rushes down to ringside with a steel chair. He chases off The Nexus who don’t want to get hit by The Viper, leaving McGillicutty alone in the ring. Cena hits him with an Attitude Adjustment and then covers him for the victory.
✮John Cena stands tall over McGillicutty and Orton enters the ring by his side. The Nexus are fuming at the loss and we hear Barrett screaming “Stupid!”, clearly aimed at McGillicutty. Cena points up the ramp and says he’s coming for them all, with a chair-wielding Orton by his side. We then fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Team Raw Qualifying Match – Drew McIntyre def. R-Truth This was a highly competitive match, pitting two former rivals against each other. R-Truth had the crowd behind him and pumped after getting them to sing along to his new theme ‘Right Time’. Although it would take more than a new theme to take out one of Raw’s newest acquisitions in the WWE.com Trade, Drew McIntyre. It was very evenly matched, but after R-Truth missed his signature Scissors Kick, McIntyre kicked him in the gut and planted him in the center of the ring with the Future Shock DDT before hooking the leg for the victory.
✮Drew McIntyre is now on Team Raw for Bragging Rights, and he isn’t going to let anyone forget it. He celebrates for a bit, but as he sees R-Truth getting back to his feet, he drops him with yet another Future Shock DDT as the crowd boo. McIntyre leaves Truth in the ring broken as we fade to a promo package.
✮We see a promo package for The Miz, simply hyping him. We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
✮We return to see Josh Mathews backstage with Mr. Money in the Bank, The Miz to a lot of heat. He is also joined by Alex Riley. Mathews asks Miz if he thinks he can defeat Triple H tonight and Qualify for Team Raw. Miz does his “Really?” routine and tells Josh that he knows he can beat Triple H, and soon enough, when he cashes in his Money in the Bank briefcase, it’ll be him beating him for the WWE Championship, but that’s for another time. He says that tonight, he will qualify for Team Raw, even though he shouldn’t have to and he should be the Captain anyway. Miz and Riley leave as we fade to ringside.
If The Miz wins, he Qualifies for Team Raw – The Miz w/ Alex Riley def. Triple H A great Main Event to close the show. The match starts as the two lock up, and Triple H takes advantage. Throughout the match, Michael Cole hypes up The Miz, saying he is the future of this business. The Miz battles back and takes control, hitting HHH with his signature corner clothesline, and acting as cocky as ever. He struts over to Triple H and cockily kicks him in the head, shouting “I’m awesome! I should be Captain!”. But suddenly, as Miz lifts him up, Triple H plants him with a AA Spinebuster. Triple H then signals for the end and picks Miz up, but Miz shoves The Game who crushes the poor referee in the corner. With the referee down, Alex Riley jumps into the ring and goes to attack Triple H, but unfortunately for him, HHH moves out of the way and Riley nails Miz with a clothesline, and as he turns back around, eats canvas after a Pedigree from the Cerebral Assassin. Triple H then gets to his feet, but turns right around into a huge Brogue Kick from Sheamus, who came from out of nowhere. Sheamus throws The Miz on top of Triple H and leaves the ring. The referee comes around and counts the three count, giving The Miz the victory.
✮Sheamus smirks as The Miz gets to his feet in celebration, joining Team Raw. Not to mention, a non-title victory over the WWE Champion is huge, and could be a sign of things to come when he cashes in his contract. The Miz leaves the ring and Alex Riley gets to his feet, holding his head, hobbling behind him. They walk past Sheamus who is stood on the outside, staring in at Triple H with a sadistic smirk. Triple H rests on the bottom rope, looking right into the eyes of Sheamus in frustration. The two stare-off as Monday Night Raw fades to a close.

-Realistic picture for something for RAW. HHH/Miz should be pretty cool. Expecting a Sheamus interference. -Morrison and Jericho going to No Contest is interesting. Leaving two top stars off is something -Lay-Cool over Bellas was a predicted squash. Can't leave much feedback here. -CM Punk having more trouble with the giants is a pretty cool way to put it. Him winning is what I wished happened at HIAC. -McGillicutty as a member is cool. Hope you bring in Ezekiel Jackson though. Cena winning was the right call. -McIntyre over Truth was a decent call either way. -The Miz over Triple H wasn't a shock to me as I was expected it from the get-go. -Solid show.

WWE RAW: Monday 4th October 2010...JTG beating William Regal is a downright blasphemy. Regal needs one last push before retirement. The Usos beating the Hart Dynasty again; not fond of. It would have been good enough for RAW, but Superstars? It shows how the emphesis from Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith has all switched to Jimmy and Jey Uso in about a week. Good promo from Triple H, interesting setup for Team RAW, but I do love how The Miz came to interrupt, and then got into an argument with the WWE Champion. Wish that the match between John Morrison and Chris Jericho was better; a good match nonetheless, but the finish was uncharacteristic for Jericho. Don't see why the anonymous General Manager would disallow either men a spot on the RAW team at Bragging Rights though, if he wants RAW to win the interpromotional feud by having the best team. Could also be a slap in the face to AJ; whose 4/10 episode of RAW also featured a draw between Morrison and Jericho, both men getting on the team. Coincidence, haha. Laycool's promo was alright, and beating the Bella Twins was fine. Wonder if Nikki and Brie will go anywhere drastic. CM Punk beating Great Khali was obvious; I'd say retire Khali soon. Good promo from John Cena at the turn of the second hour of RAW. The Nexus gaining Michael McGillicutty is grand. Cena beating McGillicutty cleanly; self-destruction of a character progression. Randy Orton's involvement was nice, however. Drew McIntyre on RAW is slightly bizarre, but glad he beat the dire R-Truth. Make R-Truth mean something again. Lastly, good win for Miz in a huge shocker that I'm glad Sheamus played a part of. Triple H and Sheamus' rivalry again advancing is great; worth feud of the year. A decent show.

Evan Bourne def. Cody Rhodes Maryse w/ Ted DiBiase def. Kelly Kelly ✮To kick things off, we see a recap of the Main Event at WWE Hell in a Cell as Kane retained his World Heavyweight Championship by defeating his brother, The Undertaker inside the Hell in a Cell structure. It shows how Paul Bearer turned on The Undertaker and cost him the match. SmackDown then begins.
CUE OPENING PACKAGE
✮Pyrotechnics explode from the stage as usual and we are greeted by the team of Todd Grisham and Matt Striker. They tell us that after Hell in a Cell, the World Champion, Kane and Paul Bearer are here tonight. Also, we are told that Dolph Ziggler will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Kaval. They are then interrupted by a huge explosion of fire on the stage, followed by the theme of Kane. Paul Bearer comes out first, sporting a sadistic grin across his face, and clutching the urn to his chest. He walks out and Kane follows, with a similar smirk. The duo enter the ring, his music fades, the lights remain red, and Paul Bearer is the first one to speak to the WWE Universe.
✮Bearer says that at Hell in a Cell, the Devil’s favourite demon prevailed, and that is his son, Kane. He tells us that many people shall be wondering why he did what he did, and he says he shouldn’t need an explanation. Bearer says The Undertaker made his decision a long, long time ago when he encased him inside a glass box, covering him in cement, back in 2006. He says that he was hurt that The Undertaker would do such a thing, after all those years of fighting side by side, but no. He says he has realized where the true power lies, and that is with Kane. Bearer then hands the microphone to Kane. Kane says that The Undertaker got everything he deserved at Hell in a Cell, and just for the record, he will not be coming back anytime soon. The crowd boo, and Kane explains. He tells us that The Undertaker has always needed two things to maintain his energy, and those two things are the urn, and his superiority over Kane himself. He says that with the urn now in his possession, and having defeated The Undertaker inside his own yard, he no longer has any powers, and has been completely drained. We are told that Kane has disposed of The Undertaker once and for all, and says he will never return. But suddenly, to the shock of everyone in attendance, we hear the theme of Edge hit the arena, to a massive pop. He comes out onto the stage and begins to talk down the ramp to Kane and Bearer. He says that he understands that Kane is his brother and all, but if anyone knows how difficult it is to take down The Undertaker, it’s him. Edge reminds us of the long-running feuds he has had with The Deadman over the past few years, and says that it isn’t that easy to take him out, and he shall always find a way to come back and get his revenge, no matter who you are. The crowd pop, but Kane shouts back, telling Edge he knows nothing, and that he has finished The Undertaker off once and for all, cutting off his power source. Paul Bearer then chimes up, and says “Wait a minute… well, if it isn’t Edge. I remember when you were a budding young athlete, looking for a break into this company. I took you under my wing and let you into the Ministry of Darkness, remember?” Edge says that he remembers it perfectly well, and he remembers how much Bearer always envied the fact that The Undertaker was the lead role in that group, and not him. Bearer shouts back, saying that Edge always was a hard one to control. Edge then says to cut all the crap and tells us that with The Undertaker seemingly out of the picture for now, Kane must be needing some new competition. He says that seeing as he has officially rejoined SmackDown, he’s looking to retake his World Heavyweight Championship. The crowd pop and Bearer and Kane look at each other. Bearer asks what makes Edge think he is worthy of such a challenge, and Edge responds by saying “Let me show you…” He begins to storm towards the ring as the fans erupt, but he stops as the theme of SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long hits. He comes out and tells Edge to stop right there. He says that he doesn’t want to brawls tonight on SmackDown, so they’re going to do things the proper way. He says that tonight, in our Main Event, it will be the World Heavyweight Champion, Kane going up against – Edge! The crowd cheer, but he isn’t finished yet. He says that since he knows how much Edge wants the World Heavyweight Championship, and with The Undertaker indeed out of the picture, if Edge wins tonight, then he will get a World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Bragging Rights. He then leaves to his theme was Edge and Kane stare off through the ropes. We then fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Team SmackDown Qualifying Match – Big Show def. Ted DiBiase w/ Maryse DiBiase is a fresh trade from Raw thanks to the WWE.com Trade earlier this week. He was looking to make an instant impact by getting a spot on Team SmackDown for Bragging Rights, but unfortunately for him. His opponent was the World’s Largest Athlete, the Big Show. DiBiase made a valid effort to try and take the giant down, but in the end, a perfectly placed Knockout Punch to the jaw ended it for poor DiBiase, giving Big Show the victory.
✮Big Show celebrated his victory as the first official member of Team SmackDown. SmackDown then fades backstage.
✮We see Theodore Long just getting back into his office from earlier. He enters and walks right into Jack Swagger who is waiting, to a lot of heat. Long asks him what he wants, and Swagger tells him that he wants to be the Captain of Team SmackDown. Long says he can’t just hand someone the Captain spot like that. Raw may have done it, but Long believes that someone needs to earn their spot. Swagger says he will earn his spot then, and demands that Long give him a match for it tonight. Long says alright then, and tells him that tonight, he will face Christian in a match to determine the Captain of Team SmackDown. Swagger smirks and then leaves as we fade to a promo package.
✮We see a promo package for WWE Bragging Rights, airing on October 24th, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.

Team SmackDown Qualifying Match – Alberto Del Rio def. MVP w/ Mark Henry These two had a short lived feud last month, and it was all brought back right here. However, it was only the same result, as Del Rio was able to put MVP away. MVP was in control at one point, but suddenly, Ricardo Rodriguez leapt onto the back of Mark Henry and MVP saw. He went to the ropes to go and help, but Del Rio rolled MVP up for a quick victory, earning his spot on Team SmackDown.
✮Del Rio and Rodriguez fled with smiles on their faces as MVP and Mark Henry looked on in disappointment. We then fade backstage.
✮Josh Mathews is backstage alongside Kaval to a pop. He asks him how he feels about getting this huge opportunity tonight on SmackDown. Kaval tells him that he is ecstatic, and cannot wait to start the match. This is the biggest opportunity of his career, and he is going to grab it with both hands, and hopefully take the title. Suddenly, the United States Champion from Raw, Daniel Bryan walks onto the scene to a big pop. He says that he’s here tonight to scout out his Bragging Rights opponent, and he has been told it will be the Intercontinental Champion of SmackDown. Kaval says that if he wins tonight, he looks forward to meeting Bryan if it comes down to it. Bryan nods and says he looks forward to it too, pats Kaval on the back and then leaves as we fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Intercontinental Championship –Dolph Ziggler [C] w/ Vickie Guerrero def. Kaval Daniel Bryan came out to ringside and sat at the commentary desk to watch this one. It was a brilliant match, and Ziggler was clearly angry that Kaval was getting this title shot. Vickie couldn’t help but get involved, grabbing Kaval’s legs as he climbed to the top rope, but Daniel Bryan grabbed her legs and pulled her off the ring apron to which she looked up from the floor in shock. The crowd loved it though. However, the damage was done as when Kaval took to the skies to go for the Warrior’s Way, Ziggler moved and then spun around before hitting Kaval with a huge ZigZag for the victory.
✮Ziggler was handed his Intercontinental Championship and he celebrated. However, he saw Vickie Guerrero screaming on the outside at the fact she had been embarrassed by Daniel Bryan. Ziggler then leaves the ring without Bryan seeing and grabs him from behind in the Sleeper Hold. The crowd are in shock as Ziggler throws Bryan around in the Sleeper, clearly fading away. Ziggler then throws the unconscious body of Bryan head first into the commentary desk to a gasp from the WWE Universe. Ziggler and Vickie leave hand-in-hand as Kaval leaves the ring to check up on Bryan. We then fade to a promo package.
✮We see a promo package for WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2011, coming out on October 26th, 2010. We then return to SmackDown.
✮Backstage, Josh Mathews is seen once again, this time with the self-proclaimed Unified Divas Champions, LayCool to a lot of heat. Before Mathews can even begin, they say that on Raw, they proved that they were the dominant divas in the WWE, and both Melina and Gail Kim had to resort to attacking from behind to get the better of them. Layla says that she is facing Tiffany up next, and she will get a real chance to show Melina and Kim exactly what they’re dealing with. LayCool walk off and we fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Layla w/ Michelle McCool def. Tiffany This was a pretty quick divas match. Tiffany barely got any offence in and after a sly distraction from Michelle McCool, Layla was able to hit The Layout for the victory.
✮Afterwards, LayCool celebrated, shining up their belts into the camera, clearly taunting Melina and Gail Kim. They blow kisses into the camera, also aimed at the two Raw divas. We then fade backstage.
✮We see Edge backstage, preparing for his match to a massive pop. And the pop becomes even bigger as there is a knock on the door, and in walks his brother, Christian. The two stand face-to-face and then share a brotherly hug as the crowd pop. Christian says it’s good to have him back on the same show, and Edge says the same. They wish each other luck in their respective matches and Christian leaves as we fade to ringside.
Captaincy of Team SmackDown – Christian def. Jack Swagger Jack Swagger was intent on taking this one, but unfortunately for him, it just didn’t happen. However, the match was looking in his favor at one stage and he had Christian set up for the Gutwrench Powerbomb, but Christian reversed and the match continued. However, Kofi Kingston made an appearance and worked as a distraction, infuriating Swagger, which allowed Christian to hit the Killswitch and pick up the victory to the WWE Universe’s delight.
✮Christian left the ring in celebration and joined Kingston on the outside. Swagger looked on in anger as we fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
✮We return to see The Straight Edge Society backstage, but for obvious reasons, no CM Punk. We hear Luke Gallows say that with Punk on Raw, he hasn’t got a clue what they should do. Mercury says that maybe they should just give it up and go their separate ways. Serena stands between them and tells them that they are not splitting up just because Punk has gone. She says that Straight Edge isn’t something you can just give up, and that they are committed to it for life. She says they should keep going and make CM Punk proud here on SmackDown, by spreading the word, just like he would want us to. Gallows agrees and says that Punk will be watching them over on Raw, so they can’t just give up. Mercury says they have made a decision then, and Straight Edge will continue to grow on SmackDown. They put their hands in the middle and then shout “Straight Edge!” before leaving the scene. We then cut to ringside.
If Edge wins, he is the new #1 Contender – Edge def. Kane w/ Paul Bearer A great Main Event between two former rivals. Kane was clearly frustrated from the happenings earlier on in the night, and is not too pleased that Edge was getting this opportunity. Kane gave a beat down to Edge, making sure he didn’t get any advantages. However, Edge managed to battle back and hit Kane with a DDT. Both men were laid out for a bit until they both got up. Kane went for a big boot but Edge ducked and then hit Kane with one of his own. Edge then used this time to measure Kane for the Spear, but Kane moved. Edge managed to stop before the corner but turned around into a huge boot to the skull. Kane covered him but only got a two. Kane was about to go for a Chokeslam on Edge, but suddenly, the lights went dark and for some unusual reason, the urn began to glow in the hands of Paul Bearer, and he didn’t have a clue what was happening with it. The lights come back on and see Kane staring at the urn, while behind him, Edge was lining him up. Kane turned around and BAM! He got drilled with a Spear, followed by Edge taking the victory.
✮The crowd were still in confusion as to why the urn was glowing in the dark, but the excitement of Edge becoming #1 Contender was becoming greater. Edge left ringside in celebration as Kane sat up in anger. He started shouting a Paul Bearer who was continuously apologizing and telling Kane that he doesn’t have a clue what happened with it. SmackDown fades to a close on a shot of Edge celebrating on the ramp.

- A nice opening promo, basically progressing onward with the World Title picture. - Show defeating DiBiase is fine; although if DiBiase got on the team it would've been nice as well. - Swagger vs Christian in a captain match, eh? Quite interesting - not sure who will win, either. - Del Rio winning is good. But I'm not that fond of him beating MVP because of him being a new tag champ and all. - Nice match between Kaval and Ziggler; nice to see Ziggler keep the strap but would like Kaval to take it later. - Blah, blah, Laycool win. Good though, as they need the victory more than Tiffany (who really is irrelevant). - Nice little segment between E&C; Christian winning against Swagger is great, but would like Swagger to make the team somehow. - Huh. Odd to see that you're keeping Straight Edge Society around without Punk. Will anticipate what they can do. - Lastly, a quite predictable main event and I truly hope Edge takes the gold at Bragging Rights as it would set Kane/Taker with no gold up.
A good show overall with just little tidbits here and there I was meh on.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 8th October 2010...Evan Bourne beating Cody Rhodes is alright, definitely disappointed that this wasn't shown on SmackDown though, would have been an awesome match. Maryse overthrowing Kelly Kelly is no surprise. Get Ted Dibiase doing better things than managing Maryse. Paul Bearer's promo was excellently written, and liking the inception of Edge with the rivalry between The Undertaker and Kane. I am now interested in where we are going. Big Show beating Ted Dibiase is realistic I guess, didn't do too much bad for me. Alberto Del Rio getting on the SmackDown team is alright, but I wish that MVP and Mark Henry looked stronger in their first match as WWE Tag Team Champions. Hopefully MVP and Mark have something to do at Bragging Rights. Dolph Ziggler beating Kaval is a decent WWE Intercontinental Championship defense, glad to see Kaval portrayed as a credible performer just underlooked by management with all of these near opportunities. Layla defeating Tiffany isn't too bad, seen this match about fifteen times before at least, though. I hope that the divas division improves. Christian beating Jack Swagger surprised me, but a great match that would have been better as first hour main event, if for captaincy of Team SmackDown. How Christian will captain SmackDown will be interesting though, as I'm in doubt he's over enough. Edge beating Kane; wow, and here's the side storyline. I like that. A decent episode, basically readying us for Bragging Rights.

-Good promo for Kane and Edge to advance the WHC matches tonight and all. Edge/Kane should be cool. -Big Show over Ted DiBiase was expected, as well as realistic. -Alberto Del Rio over MVP is fine. But MVP really deserves a push. -Great match between Ziggler and the man I see ending that reign, Kaval. -Don't care for that divas match. Layla winning was right. -Christian over Swagger to become the captain was cool to go with something new here. -Straight Edge Society without Punk should be interesting. Wonder if they'll be burned to the ground now. -Predictable, good main event. Edge/Kane should be good. Two of my favorites, don't care who wins that one. -Good show; decent advancement for Bragging Rights.

October 11th, 2010 – Seattle, Washington
Eve def. Jillian David Otunga, Justin Gabriel, Michael Tarver & Skip Sheffield def. Santino Marella, Vladimir Kozlov, Yoshi Tatsu & Goldust CUE OPENING PACKAGE
✮The pyrotechnics explode from the stage as Monday Night Raw gets underway, just thirteen days away from WWE Bragging Rights, where both brands will collide. Michael Cole and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler tell us that tonight, they have been told that two of the final three spots on Team Raw will be filled, but there is no word as to who is competing in them just yet. Also, the Main Event will be Nexus leader, Wade Barrett taking on Randy Orton. The WWE Universe erupt as the theme of John Cena blasts across the arena, and he comes out in usual fashion. He runs down the ramp and enters the ring before speaking to the fans.
✮He reminds us how last week he defeated the newest member of The Nexus, Michael McGillicutty. By doing this, he proved that he will stop at nothing to finish The Nexus off, and he is very much capable. Cena tells us that he wants the opportunity to finish The Nexus once and for all at WWE Bragging Rights, and says he’s going to get straight to the point. He makes an official challenge to Wade Barrett, and tells him, if he’s a man, he’ll accept. He says that he wants a match with him at Bragging Rights, and if he wins, then The Nexus must disband for good! The crowd pop and Cena then tells Barrett to come out and accept. The theme of The Nexus follows and all seven members walk out onto the stage in formation. Wade Barrett begins to laugh, as do the rest of The Nexus. He then asks John Cena what makes him think he would accept an offer like that, without something in it for him. Cena nods and then says if Barrett accepts, then he can lay down the stipulations for if he wins. Barrett smirks and then calls for a quick huddle on the stage. The Nexus members group up with their arms around each others shoulders, clearly discussing what the stipulation should be. They line back up and Barrett tells John Cena that he accepts the challenge. The crowd go wild, but then Barrett says that the stipulation he has chosen for if he wins the match is – John Cena will be suspended from Raw – forever! The crowd gasp in shock and Cena’s looks on in worry. He looks around the WWE Universe who are screaming for him not to accept the offer, worried that if he loses, they will never see him again. Barrett asks Cena if he’s sure he still wants to go through with it, or is he a coward. Cena says he is no coward, and tells Wade Barrett that the match is on! The crowd give a mixed reaction, some wanting to see Cena destroy The Nexus, but others worried for his career. Raw fades to a promo package.
✮We see a promo package for WWE Bragging Rights, airing on October 24th, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Drew McIntyre & Chris Jericho def. Daniel Bryan & John Morrison An entertaining start to this week’s Raw. Drew McIntyre kicked things off with the United States Champion, Daniel Bryan. They battled for a while, but Bryan managed to tag in Morrison who exploded in, but turned his attention towards Chris Jericho who was stood on the apron. The referee told him he’s not the legal man and he must let go of him, so Morrison storms over to his corner, slaps Daniel Bryan on the arm and then lunges at Jericho once more. The two brawl on the outside as Daniel Bryan looks on with his hands out, wondering what Morrison was doing. Unfortunately for him, he turned around into McIntyre who drilled him with the Future Shock DDT for the victory.
✮Drew McIntyre celebrated, showing that he will be a valuable member of Team Raw at Bragging Rights. He leaves the ring and we see John Morrison and Chris Jericho brawling beside the ramp, going further and further until they can no longer be seen. Daniel Bryan uses the ropes to get to his feet, holding his head, and then all of a sudden – BAM! Bryan gets drilled with the Intercontinental Championship, held by none other than the Champion himself, from SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler. The crowd boo as Ziggler holds his Championship high over the fallen United States Champion, Daniel Bryan. We then fade backstage.
✮The WWE Champion, Triple H is shown backstage to a huge pop. He is waiting for someone in a locker room, and then in walks John Cena to an even bigger pop. Triple H and John Cena stand face-to-face before HHH begins to speak. He tells Cena that he’s doing a brilliant thing for this company, and he has tons of respect for him. Cena says that of all people, Triple H should know that this business means everything to him. Hunter nods his head and tells Cena that he wishes him the best of luck at Bragging Rights. Cena thanks him, but the two are interrupted quite comically by Zack Ryder, who enters with a huge grin and pats both men on the shoulders. Cena and HHH look at each other and try to hold in their laughter. Ryder tells them that they are looking at the next member of Team Raw! HHH puts his arm around him and tells him that could be true, as he did promise him a Qualifying match tonight, and he’s a man of his word. He tells him that he has contacted his opponent, and the match is on for tonight, so he better go and get ready, because it’s next. Ryder jumps for joy and then leaves. Cena is curious and asks who he has chosen for Ryder’s opponent. Triple H chuckles and simply says “You’ll love it” before leaving. Cena laughs and we fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
✮We hear the theme of the WWE Champion, Triple H to a big pop. He comes out and sits beside Jerry Lawler at commentary, obviously to observe the Raw roster. He tells Cole and Lawler that not only is he watching the two Qualifiers set tonight, but he is also searching for the seventh member of Team Raw. But for now, he tells Lawler and Cole to sit back and enjoy this one.
Team Raw Qualifying Match – Ezekiel Jackson def. Zack Ryder Zack Ryder was so pumped to be in a Team Raw Qualifying match, but he went like a statue the moment the theme of Ezekiel Jackson hit the arena. Jackson returned right here on Raw and had a huge grin on his face. He got a pretty big pop too. It was a very quick match as Ryder went in with a full head of steam, but got clotheslined to the canvas by those huge arms of Jackson. Jackson then simply lifted Ryder to his feet and planted him with the Book of Ezekiel, picking up the victory and earning himself a spot on Team Raw with ease.
✮Triple H got to his feet and began to clap as Ezekiel Jackson celebrated with the WWE Universe cheering him on. We then fade backstage.
✮We see the parking lot where Randy Orton is just arriving at the arena to a massive pop. Josh Mathews rushes up to him and asks him if he has heard the new regarding John Cena and The Nexus at Bragging Rights. Orton says that he’s just seen it happen on a TV monitor in his limousine. He says that he’s 100% behind Cena, but tonight, his focus on solely on Barrett, and he is long overdue an RKO. The crowd pop as Orton walks off and we fade to a promo package.
✮A promo package for WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 is shown. We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Mark Henry w/ MVP def. Jimmy Uso w/ Jey Uso & Tamina Triple H is still by ringside, and gives us some comedy on commentary during this match. This was another quick match for tonight, but Jimmy Uso did get offence in. Uso made the mistake when he went for a cross body from the top, only to be caught and then planted with the World’s Strongest Slam, giving Mark Henry the victory.
✮The WWE Tag Team Champion, Mark Henry and MVP celebrated Henry’s victory, but the celebration was cut short when The Usos pounced and beat them down. They mainly focused on Mark Henry, eliminating him first, getting him out of the ring. They then isolated MVP, hitting him with a pair of Samoan Drops, one from each Uso. The Usos and Tamina left ringside as Mark Henry re-entered the ring to check on his fallen partner. Triple H says that The Usos are pretty violent, and could be good on Team Raw, but there are two of them, so he doesn’t want to be unfair. We then fade backstage.
✮The Nexus are seen in their locker room to a lot of heat. Heath Slater asks Barrett if he knows what he’s doing by accepting this challenge from Cena. Barrett shouts at him, asking him if he doubts his ability. Slater quickly backs up and tells him that’s not what he meant. However, David Otunga steps up and says that there is always a possibility that Barrett could lose, and that would mean the end of Nexus. Barrett says he will not lose to John Cena at Bragging Rights. But Otunga persist, and asks him what if he does. He says that if Nexus disbands, there is no way that they could survive alone, because the entire Raw roster hates them. Barrett gets up in Otunga’s face and repeats “I will not lose”. Barrett asks if there are anymore doubters in the group, but nobody steps forward. He says “Good”, and then says that he is also going to defeat Orton tonight and get the advantage going into Bragging Rights. He leaves and we fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
✮We return and the WWE Universe boo as the theme of Mr. Money in the Bank, The Miz hits the arena. He struts out with his protégé; Alex Riley and the duo enter the ring, both wearing casual clothing. He then begins to speak into a microphone. He reminds the WWE Universe that he beat the WWE Champion, Triple H last week to become a member of Team Raw. Triple H, who is still sat by ringside, shakes his head. Miz looks at him and tells him he isn’t even fit to be Team Captain, and it’s a crime that he is allowed to keep the position. He then tells the WWE Universe that they shouldn’t be hoping for Triple H to lead Team Raw to victory, they should be hoping for him, The Miz. The crowd boo. Miz tells them they can boo all they want, because the fact of the matter is, he will win the match for Team Raw. He reminds us all how he was the only winner for Team Raw last year when he defeated John Morrison. The rest of the roster had him to thank for them not been totally embarrassed. Triple H admits that is true. But before The Miz can continue, he is cut off by the theme of CM Punk who gets a mixed reaction, but majority boos. He enters the ring and begins to speak. He says that The Miz is undoubtedly a worthy member of Team Raw, but the fact that he believes he is the one leading Team Raw to victory is ridiculous. Punk says that it’ll take more than a few stupid catchphrases and a history in reality TV to win at Bragging Rights. The crowd laugh as Miz looks angered by that comment. Punk then turns to Triple H at the commentary desk and says “The Miz was right about one thing… if you lost to him, then we have no hope”. Miz becomes even more frustrated, and even Triple H laughs at that. But then Punk cuts the humour and gets serious. He says that this is where he comes in… hope. He gives hope to the scum of this earth, the people who pop the pills, get drunk and black out on their sofas, and he can give hope to the shambles that is Team Raw. He says that Straight Edge can direct Team Raw to the way of victory. The Miz shouts “Stop right there, Manson! Really?” Miz says that neither Punk nor Triple H are even in his league and says that he will definitely lead Team Raw to victory. Triple H stands up, grabs a microphone and says “Listen, guys. You don’t like each other, you don’t like me, and I don’t like you, but this isn’t about our personal vendettas, this is about Raw, and Raw needs to win this year. This tension within the team isn’t going to help us out, so why don’t we all just play nice, huh? Let’s put all our personal issues behind us…” But Triple H is interrupted by this sound – BLEEP, BLEEP! – and the crowd erupt into boos. Michael Cole steps up and reads from his laptop. He reads “And I quote – Triple H is right, you all need to put your issues behind you and work as a team in order to have success on Team Raw. And Triple H, you will have to do this too, as I have made a few adjustments to your previously made Qualifying match, and added someone whom you have many personal issues with. Let’s hope you live up to your word and put the past behind you…” Triple H looks on in confusion, but it all makes sense as the theme of Sheamus hits the arena to a ton of heat. Sheamus walks out with a smirk on his face and Triple H looks on in anger. CM Punk and The Miz leave the ring as we fade to a promo package.
✮We see a promo package for WWE NXT Season Three which begins on October 26th, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Team Raw Qualifying Match – Sheamus def. Darren Young During the break, Darren Young made his entrance. This was less of a squash than you’d think, and Young actually showed promise. Sheamus did show his brute strength though, throwing Young around. Towards the end of the match, Sheamus drilled Darren Young with the Brogue Kick, and we see a shot of Triple H as if he felt the kick, holding the back of his head. Sheamus then picked Young up and then planted him with the High Cross before picking up the victory, and getting on Team Raw at Bragging Rights.
✮Sheamus celebrated his victory and made sure Triple H saw it. He smiled to the outside and they locked eyes. Triple H says on commentary that he will continue to put Raw first, but if Sheamus steps out of line, he won’t hesitate to put him back. Sheamus celebrates more and we fade backstage. During the segment, Triple H leaves.
✮Josh Mathews is backstage with Gail Kim and Melina to a pop. He asks them why they came out to fight LayCool last week. Melina says that LayCool think they can just come over to Raw and beat the divas, well they can’t. Kim says that they want to represent Raw at WWE Bragging Rights, and challenge LayCool to a Tag Team match. Melina says that they want an answer this Friday on SmackDown. They then leave and we cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Alicia Fox def. Melina w/ Gail Kim A regular divas match here, but with a twist towards the end. It was definitely going in the favor of Melina, but then LayCool came out onto the stage with microphones and began doing their in-sync act. They mock Melina and Gail Kim, and this distracts Melina, who turns around to get kicked in the gut and then drilled with the Axe Kick from Alicia Fox, giving her the victory.
✮Alicia Fox leaves in celebration as Gail Kim checks on Melina. Michelle McCool says that they don’t have to wait until SmackDown for an answer, because the answer is yes! The crowd pop for this match at Bragging Rights. Kim and Melina look on in anger as LayCool taunt them with the title belts. We then cut backstage.
✮Randy Orton is seen preparing for his match in his locker room to a huge pop. However, he stops lacing his boots when he looks up and has a blank expression. He stands up and the camera pans to the left to reveal all seven members of The Nexus to a ton of heat, and a few gasps of shock, worrying for Orton’s safety. Barrett says he hasn’t come to beat him down before their match, just to give a warning. He says that Orton needs to back away from The Nexus now and he won’t get hurt anymore. John Cena is their main focus, and they’re giving Orton the chance to walk away from it all right now. Orton tells Barrett that he isn’t in this for John Cena, he’s in it for himself. He says that with The Nexus around, he can’t focus on the WWE Championship without having to watch his back. Barrett says they’ll leave him to it if he walks away. Orton says that as long as they’re around, they’re a threat, truce or not. He refuses to stand down and tells Barrett he’ll see him in the ring. He walks off leaving The Nexus frustrated. We then fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett Orton enters first and waits for The Nexus to enter. But surprisingly, Barrett comes out alone, holding his hands in the air. This is obviously another attempt to get Orton to call a truce with The Nexus. He enters the ring and offers to shake Orton’s hand. Orton looks around at the WWE Universe who are chanting “RKO!”. Orton takes the handshake and the crowd gasp in horror and some boo. But not to worry, Orton yanks Barrett towards him and connects with his signature backbreaker to a huge pop from the crowd. The match goes back and forth from then on. However, Barrett gains control and plants Orton with a huge scoop slam. Barrett then smirks and raises his hand and does a beckoning motion, clearly calling for his Nexus partners… but nobody comes. Barrett turns to the stage and the titantron jolts into action. The crowd erupt as they see the members of Team Raw and John Cena battling the six Nexus members in a 7-on-6 advantage. Barrett shouts and holds his head in disbelief, and what a way to cap it off by turning around into a huge RKO from Orton, followed by a three count for the victory.
✮The WE Universe are on their feet as the titantron shuts off and Randy Orton celebrates his victory. Barrett made a mistake by coming out alone, leaving his Nexus teammates vulnerable. Orton climbs the turnbuckle and celebrates his victory, but we aren’t finished as the WWE Champion, Triple H walks out onto the stage to a pop, clapping and congratulating Randy Orton. He says “Randy, all night I’ve been looking for a potential seventh member for Team Raw, well I’ve found him. Ladies and gentlemen, the final member of Team Raw – Randy Orton!” The crowd go nuts and Orton smirks as Triple H grins at him. Raw then fades to a close as Orton taunts on the top turnbuckle.

WWE RAW: Monday 11th October 2010...Eve beating Jillian...Jillian is just about ready for the future endeavors lineup in my opinion. Decent main event for WWE Superstars with the Nexus looking convincing in a bad way, with defeating the RAW undercarders. Didn't prove too much, in my opinion, and was basically a rehash of that preparation elimination tag team match with Nexus and the undercarders from before SummerSlam. Decent promo to kick off the show from there with John Cena in the ring and basically inviting Nexus out. Suspending Cena from RAW forever is basically exiling him. Would be a better term. Or firing. Or banning. Cena and Wade Barrett at Bragging Rights does intrigue me. Drew McIntyre and Chris Jericho looked good as a team defeating Daniel Bryan and John Morrison in a decent opening contest. Looking forward to Dolph Ziggler beating Bryan at Bragging Rights. I personally can't stand the WWE United States Champion right now for some reason. Liked Zack Ryder's intention of joining Team RAW, and was amusing to see Ezekiel Jackson return to plough through him. Glad about that; Zeke is definitely worth something and should be a future main eventer if not champion. Mark Henry beating Jimmy Uso was unsurprising. I see Triple H is taking the Big Show approach, captaining from commentary. I liked that on SmackDown; good idea. The Miz's promo was pretty good, but intriguing that CM Punk interrupted him. Basically, dissension in Team RAW which should be interesting. Sheamus beating Darren Young doesn't surprise me much, he's worth a midcard push in my mind. Sheamus hopefully returns to main event status after Bragging Rights. Alicia Fox beating Melina is acceptable. As dire as it would sound, a divas tag team match for the WWE Unified Divas Championship would actually intrigue me with the womens division. I'm all for ways of improving divas quality. wrestling. Randy Orton beating Wade Barrett is the best decision, a good main event, and the aftermath interested me. Overall, a good show, but nothing too different.

-Good promo with the huge match for Bragging Rights. Looking forward to that. -McIntyre and Jericho over Morrison and Bryan sounds like a fun way to start RAW. -Jackson over Ryder is what I'd expected. Realistic one here. -Mark Henry over Jey Uso was the right call too, though MVP/Jey would have seemed better. -Decent promo to hype the possible split of Team RAW once again. -Sheamus over Young was cool, can't wait to see their rematch. -Fox over Melina is fine with the distraction from Lay-Cool. -Randy Orton over Wade Barrett is good to have him on the final one, as I wasn't expecting it considering Cena/Barrett was scheduled to happen I believe. -Good show; the regular, but realistic showing from you.

October 15th, 2010 – Portland, Oregon
AJ Lee def. Rosa Mendes Kaval def. Ted DiBiase w/ Maryse CUE OPENING PACKAGE
✮There are no pyrotechnics this week as we open up with the theme of Edge to a massive pop. He comes out and enters the ring before beginning to speak to the WWE Universe. He reminds us how last week he beat Kane in the Main Event and earned himself a World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Bragging Rights. The crowd cheer at his success. He then tells us that he plans to take the World Title at Bragging Rights and show Kane exactly why he is the Ultimate Opportunist. Edge says that Kane may be on his high horse because he and Bearer believe they have finished off The Undertaker, but he will return, and Kane will have much bigger problems, but for now, his big problem is Edge, and he’s coming for the gold! The crowd pop, but begin to boo as the theme of Jack Swagger hits the arena. Edge looks on in confusion as Swagger storms to the ring, looking serious. He gets in begins to speak into his microphone. Swagger mocks Edge, pretending to be all happy and joyful, but then tells him that nobody wants to listen to him gloat, and that the WWE Universe should be more concerned that Jack Swagger isn’t the Captain of Team SmackDown. He gets some heat for that remark. Edge chuckles and tells him that Team SmackDown is in the safe hands of his brother, Christian. The crowd pop. Swagger looks angry and tells Edge that Christian is not capable of running a team of six other men into Bragging Rights. He completely takes over the segment, shoving Edge aside, demanding that he be placed in another Team SmackDown Qualifying match – tonight. Edge pulls him aside and tells him to get a grip and accept that he had his chance. Swagger gets in Edge’s face and tells him that he has no place speaking to an All-American American like that. Things look like they’re get physical, but the theme of SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long stops it all as both Swagger and Edge turn to the entrance. Long stands on the stage and says that this is the second week in a row he has had to prevent a fight to kick off SmackDown, and says it isn’t good for their reputation, especially going into Bragging Rights. But he says that he can see that both men aren’t on the same terms, and that Jack Swagger is determined to represent Team SmackDown, which is what he likes to see. So, he makes the Main Event for tonight, and says it will be Jack Swagger taking on Edge! The crowd pop, and Long reveals that if Jack Swagger wins, then he can be a member of Team SmackDown. Swagger is leaning over the ropes looking at Teddy, and he smirks. But unfortunately for him, he turns around and is drilled with a huge SPEAR from Edge to a huge pop from the crowd. Long shakes his head and leaves as Edge stands tall over Swagger with the WWE Universe behind him. We then fade to a promo package.
✮We see a promo package for WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011, which will be released on October 26th, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
✮We return to see Christian’s theme playing already and him sitting down at the commentator’s desk. Todd Grisham welcomes us all to the show and says that Christian, much like Team Raw Captain, Triple H this past Monday on Raw, shall be overlooking the SmackDown roster tonight from the commentary desk. Christian says he’s ready to see some potential on Team SmackDown, and so far he, Big Show and Alberto Del Rio are a promising team. We then find out that Del Rio and Show are having a match, right now.
Alberto Del Rio def. Big Show via Disqualification This match starts off with Del Rio acting cocky as usual, but Big Show soon puts him in his place and begins to throw him around the ring as if he was nothing. Big Show measured Del Rio up for the Knockout Punch, but Del Rio turned and instantly saw it, dropping to the canvas and exiting the ring. The crowd boo as it looked as if Del Rio was going to walk away, but instead, he quickly spun around and slapped SmackDown’s Team Captain, Christian for some unknown reason. Christian obviously retaliated by delivering some shots to Del Rio, ending the match via Disqualification.
✮Nobody has a clue why Del Rio slapped the man who he will be Captaining his team at Bragging Rights, even Big Show looks confused as the two brawl on the outside. The referee tries to intervene, but to no avail. Eventually, Big Show leaves the ring and splits the two up, holding Christian back while Del Rio fled. Show tried to calm Christian down who was clearly angered, and Del Rio escaped, wiping his mouth, checking for blood, with a sick smirk on his face. We then fade backstage.
✮Theodore Long is backstage in his office watching what just happened and is shaking his head, saying that this isn’t good for Team SmackDown. Suddenly, the Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero walk in to a ton of heat. Long asks them what they want, and Ziggler smirks and tells Long that he is going out to the ring to make an announcement, and he wants Teddy to be watching very closely. Long nods and says he will. Ziggler and Vickie leave as we fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
✮We return to see Christian is no longer at ringside and has returned to the back after his brawl with Del Rio. The crowd cover their ears as they hear the dreaded words, “Excuse me!”, and Vickie Guerrero emerges onto the stage. She does it a couple more times before introducing Dolph Ziggler and emphasizing that he is her boyfriend. We then hear the theme of the Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler. He comes out and the couple enter the ring to a lot of heat and Ziggler begins to speak to the WWE Universe. He says that before he says anything, he wants the WWE Universe to watch this clip, and directs our eyes to the titantron. It shows the clip of Dolph Ziggler brutally attacking the United States Champion, Daniel Bryan on Raw this past Monday. We return to see Ziggler and Vickie standing in the ring and laughing as the crowd boo. Ziggler says that what we just saw is the future, and by that, he means he wants an official match with Daniel Bryan at WWE Bragging Rights. The crowd cheer for the match. He says that Bryan is a paper Champion, and as if Raw didn’t look bad already, he makes it look even worse. The crowd boo. Ziggler says that not only is SmackDown the superior brand, but he is the superior Champion out of the two, and he will prove that at Bragging Rights. Vickie then begins to speak, saying that Daniel Bryan will be begging for mercy at the hands of Dolph Ziggler, and the Intercontinental Champion will reign supreme at Bragging Rights. They drop the microphones and leave as we fade backstage.
✮Josh Mathews is standing by, and he is alongside Alberto Del Rio. He asks Del Rio why he slapped Christian earlier. Del Rio says that Christian is pathetic, just like Rey Mysterio was, and in fact, just like his brother, Edge. The crowd boo. He says that he isn’t a worthy Captain, and instead he should be Team Captain. Mathews tells Del Rio that his actions could lead to him been ejected from the team. Del Rio says that it would be SmackDown’s loss, because he is most definitely the only superstar who is capable of taking SmackDown to victory at Bragging Rights. Del Rio walks off and we fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Team SmackDown Qualifying Match – Evan Bourne def. Chavo Guerrero This was a fast paced match right here, but the ending was almost certain from the beginning. Chavo got some offence in mid-match and hit Bourne with the Three Amigos, but as Chavo climbed to the top, Bourne got to his feet, jumped up and threw Guerrero off, and then followed it up with the Air Bourne for the victory, earning himself a spot on Team SmackDown.
✮Evan Bourne celebrated his victory with the WWE Universe as we fade backstage.
✮We see Christian backstage, obviously looking for Del Rio. He is followed swiftly by the Big Show who is still trying to calm him down. They walk past a few workers and Christian interrogates them as to the whereabouts of Del Rio. They direct Christian to Theodore Long’s office. Both Christian and Show enter the office and see Del Rio speaking with Long. Christian goes to get him but Long stops him and Big Show holds him back. Del Rio virtually cowers behind Long with a smirk on his face. Christian says Del Rio had no reason to do what he did and that he should be thinking with SmackDown in perspective, not himself. Long agrees and turns to Del Rio, telling him his actions were out of order, and have caused some problems within Team SmackDown. Long breaks the news and tells Alberto Del Rio that he is out of Team SmackDown. The crowd go wild as Del Rio’s smirk turns to a blank expression. Christian and Big Show smile as Del Rio begins to show his frustration. Long tells him that they can’t afford to have tension within the team, otherwise Raw will capitalize and win. He says “Sorry, playa” and leaves, along with Christian and the Big Show. Del Rio stands, still in shock. We hear a little giggle and Del Rio looks around. The camera then tilts down to show Hornswoggle to a massive pop. Hornswoggle blows a raspberry at Del Rio, spitting all over him before running off giggling. Del Rio looks on in anger as we fade to a promo package.
✮We see a promo package for WWE Bragging Rights, airing on October 26th, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Team SmackDown Qualifying Match - Kofi Kingston def. Luke Gallows w/ The Straight Edge Society Last week, we saw The Straight Edge Society decide to stick together and continue the work of CM Punk for him. However, tonight, Luke Gallows couldn’t get the job done against Kofi Kingston, costing himself a spot on Team SmackDown at Bragging Rights. Kingston finished Gallows off with the Trouble In Paradise, winning his spot on Team SmackDown.
✮Kofi Kingston celebrates his victory as The Straight Edge Society regroup on the outside. Kofi Kingston is now on Team SmackDown! We then fade backstage.
✮We see Edge backstage, preparing for the Main Event later on. Christian walks into the room and the two get a massive pop. They hug and then Christian tells him about Alberto Del Rio calling them pathetic. Edge says he was probably still angry about the fact that he embarrassed him on the Live SmackDown a few weeks back. Christian laughs and agrees. Edge then says he is curious as to who he has chosen to replace Del Rio on the team. Christian says he has to make a call before he can confirm anything. He pats Edge on the back, wishing him luck and then leaves. We then fade to ringside.
✮We return to ringside where the ring is set up in a similar fashion to The Cutting Edge or The Highlight Reel, except it is all blue and pink and on the carpet it read “LayCool”, and of course, the self-professed Co-Unified Divas Champions, Layla and Michelle McCool are standing right there. McCool begins to speak and she says “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to…” and then both divas say “Real Talk!”. Apparently, this is their new chat show segment… oh dear. Layla says that this is their new show where they talk to the other divas on the brand and get their views on all the latest diva action. McCool says that tonight, they have some very special guests, and without further ado, introduces Kelly Kelly and Tiffany. The theme of Kelly Kelly hits and both her and Tiffany come down to the ring. They enter and don’t look pleased to be on the show. LayCool put on the fakest smiles and say they are so pleased to see them both. All four sit on the stools in the ring and Layla asks the first question, asking them if they are looking forward to WWE Bragging Rights. Kelly Kelly says they can’t wait, and there’s a big reason for that. Layla asks what it is, and Tiffany says they can’t wait to see Gail Kim and Melina beat them. The crowd cheer as Layla and McCool pretend to be seriously offended. McCool says that they only wanted a civil chat show, nothing more. Kelly Kelly stands up and says she can show her civil. The crowd pop as LayCool stand up and back off. Layla calls security like a helpless little girl as Kelly Kelly approaches her, but McCool suddenly hits a massive Big Boot out of nowhere, flattening Kelly. Tiffany goes for the attack on McCool and begins pummeling her, but Layla grabs her and plants her with The Layout. LayCool standing up and say that Gail Kim and Melina will suffer the same fate at Bragging Rights. They drop their microphones and leave with smiles on their faces as we fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
MVP & Mark Henry def. Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer A quick tag team bout here, which saw Hawkins and Archer once again try to regain contention to the WWE Tag Team Championships, but the Champions just wouldn’t allow it. Mark Henry was able to hit Vance Archer with the World’s Strongest Slam, while MVP planted Curt Hawkins with the Play of the Day for the victory.
✮MVP and Mark Henry celebrate with their titles as Hawkins and Archer leave in disappointment. We then fade backstage.
✮Josh Mathews is backstage with Jack Swagger. He asks him if he thinks he is lucky to be getting another chance at Team SmackDown. Swagger looks at him in disgust, telling him that Team SmackDown is lucky that he is getting another chance, because without him, they will lose. He says that after he beats Edge tonight, the rest of Team SmackDown will be able to sleep at night knowing that they have the All-American American on their side. He walks off and we fade to a promo package.
✮We see a Make A Wish Foundation package, showing WWE superstars and divas granting wishes to children. We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Team SmackDown Qualifying Match – ‘Dashing’ Cody Rhodes def. Chris Masters A highly competitive match here, and Masters looked as if he had it won at one point, almost locking in The Masterlock on Rhodes, but couldn’t quite get it. Rhodes was able to get Masters set up and then plant him with the Cross-Rhodes for the victory and a place on Team SmackDown at Bragging Rights.
✮Cody Rhodes celebrates his victory, showing of his ‘dashing’ good looks. He dusts off his hands over Chris Masters, signaling he is finished with him. He then leaves the ring and we fade backstage.
✮Josh Mathews is backstage once again, but this time with Edge to a huge pop. Mathews asks Edge if facing Swagger is good or bad when he has a World Heavyweight Championship match in nine days. Edge says practice makes perfect, and with Swagger been a former World Champion himself better bring his a-game, because he wants some good practice. Mathews asks if Edge is worried about Kane, especially after seeing Kane demolish his brother at Hell in a Cell. Edge says Kane’s a big scary dude, but he’s nothing new, he’s dealt with him before, and he will win at Bragging Rights. Edge leaves and we fade to our final commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
If Jack Swagger wins, he Qualifies for Team SmackDown – Jack Swagger def. Edge This match is fantastic from the start. Both men are fighting for something, Swagger for a Team SmackDown spot, Edge for an advantage going into Bragging Rights. Swagger wanted some revenge from the Spear Edge gave him earlier. He began beating down on him as much as he could, trying to humiliate him at every possible moment. Swagger his three of his corner body splashes and then went for the cover, but Edge managed to kick out. Edge fought back and eventually hit Swagger with a huge Lifting DDT. Edge then got to his feet and went to the corner, measuring Swagger up for a Spear, and the crowd chanted it as he pulled his hair like a madman. But, before Swagger could get to his feet, there was a huge fiery explosion on the stage, followed by the theme of the World Heavyweight Champion, Kane. Edge walks towards the ropes as he sees Kane and Paul Bearer walk out onto the stage, and then walking down the ramp. The lights go from red back to normal and Jack Swagger rolls Edge up with a handful of tights and picks up the victory.
✮Jack Swagger flees from ringside in celebration, now as a member of Team SmackDown. Edge is frustrated at his loss, but Kane and Bearer enter the ring. Edge and Kane begin to trade blows, but Kane gets the advantage, been the fresher man, and Chokeslams Edge to the canvas. Kane stands over Edge and laughs before going for his signature taunt. Suddenly, as Kane reaches the peak of his taunt, the lights shut off and in a similar fashion to last week, the urn held by Paul Bearer begins to glow. The crowd pop as we hear Kane shout “What are you doing?!” and Bearer replies “I’m not doing anything!”. The urn stops glowing and the lights turn back on. Many were expecting to see The Undertaker, but instead, they see Edge in the corner ready for a Spear. Kane turns around an gets nailed with a SPEAR from Edge! The crowd go wild as Kane and Paul Bearer retreat. Once again, Edge has the last laugh. SmackDown fades to a close as Edge tells Kane he’s coming for his title.

-Solid promo to kick us off, should set us up nicely for some huge in SmackDown's two biggest matches. -Del Rio over Big Show was interesting, hope this doesn't slow down Show. -Bourne over Guerrero was the right call, I don't see much for Guerrero now. -Kingston over Gallows was expected, decent one here. -Henry and MVP are getting a pretty decent run here, hope it continues. -Rhodes over Masters was expected as Rhodes' push is bigger. -Jack Swagger over Edge is the right call to build up both matches for BR. -Good show; nice progression, keep it up.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 15th October 2010...AJ Lee beating Rosa Mendes is fine, no problem there. Wonder why Rosa is still here, pretty sure she hasn't won a match yet this year. Kaval beating Ted Dibiase sounds like a good match, shame Dibiase lost though. Edge's promo with Jack Swagger was pretty good, basically preparing us for the main event. Alberto Del Rio with the win against Big Show was quite unorthodox, od finish with this but I like how Del Rio slapped Christian. Christian getting Show disqualified is odd, though. If I was Show I'd be pissed at Christian. Dolph Ziggler's promo was nice, just promoting the WWE Intercontinental Champion vs WWE United States Champion match at Bragging Rights with Daniel Bryan. I hope Ziggler wins a match or two in this feud. Evan Bourne beating Chavo Guerrero didn't surprise me in the slightest, Bourne hopefully becomes a primetime player on SmackDown eventually. I liked the exchange with Christian wanting Alberto Del Rio. Hornswoggle and Theodore Long's involvement = realistic. Kofi Kingston beating Luke Gallows was likely. Thing is with these Team SmackDown Qualifying matches is that they appear extremely obvious who will win. In real life this wasn't the case; matches between two uppercarders for a spot happened. Guess this talk show idea with Laycool is alright, would rather do without it. Kelly Kelly and Tiffany as guests was...alright. Nice segment with the divas. Something we rarely see anymore. Unless you can bare the forty-five minutes of NXT a week. MVP and Mark Henry beating Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer is best, just to advance the WWE Tag Team Champions. Couldn't care less about Archer and Hawkins right now, if I'm honest. Cody Rhodes beating Chris Masters is fine, could have gone either way but seemed more likely to see Cody win. Lastly, Jack Swagger beating Edge is a decent main event. Kane's involvement was also quite nice. A good show throughout, a few too many promos for me though. The show seemed long winded, but some intriguing things occured. Hope Paul Bearer and Kane reveal their dislike for Edge next week to pull out a story.
