It's not healthier, fact is, most people don't eat there greens, The healthiest way to eat is lean meat and there full days serving of Fruits and Veggies. Buy eating only Meat, you will lose a lot of natural things that help our body a lot but by cutting out Meat and Eggs and being a Vegetarian you lose a lot of Protein and Iron, that even with all the supplements, you're still not healthy. The supplements only help so little, and its not natural so in theory its not that good for you to process. Vegetarians can't have Eggs or Meat. Now you can also buy meat without Steroids and Antibiotics loaded into them, and TBH most Meat isn't loaded with Steroids and Antibiotics. And that coming from a Vegetarian who has done all his research. Also if anyone cares, tomorrow, I'll make a post with my whole argument and stand point. Some vegetarians eat eggs, I do, I also have a lot of dairy products. That's how I get my protein. I use Tofu for mine, a real vegetarian doesn't eat eggs, atleast any I know or read about.

Ovo vegetarianism is a type of vegetarianism which allows for the consumption of eggs; unlike lacto-ovo vegetarianism, no dairy products are permitted.

I honestly see why people become vegetarians, I honestly do. But I don't need to see animals getting brutally slaughtered to sway my decision. I really believe that there are ways to kill animals for food without mauling and tourturing them. But the reason that I'm not on board with it is because I don't believe that animals are equal to humans. Do I believe that some animals are more valuable to the world than others? Yes I do. Agreed. Sure, the way they kill them is pretty sick, but alot of times that's how it has to be done. Now I've seen the KFC videos where the guys are like whippin the piss out of the chickens for no reason, and that is totally uncalled for. It takes a very certain kind of person to be able to butcher animals every day (not in sport, like hunting) and go home normal.

That is a strong argument if you back it up. Most people have heard all the emotional arguments over and over and over again to the point where they have no effect on most people. Well, I just know from personal experience, since I stopped eating meat my health has improved greatly. You say your health has improved, were you sick?

Never understood or liked this form of advertising.
You make us feel sympathy yes, but at the same time you're just promoting this torture by sharing it with us. It just doesn't add up in my head.

I am a huge fish lover, and environmentalist, but, Im such a softy for sushi. I stay away from the resturaunts that slice and serve infront of the guests.
It's wrong what they do to animals, but like someone already posted, If there was a more dominate species, we would be the one's suffering.

Isn't that where you "say" your a vegetarian but eat Fish and Chicken? Correct. One of the most self righteous people I know is a pollo pescatarian. Enough to drive you mad. Steak or no! I find that to just stupid. You said best, if you're gonna do it, don't **** foot around it. One that note though, I hate people always stereotype Vegetarians to always be self righteous, not all of us are, I know there are a few but its pisses me off to see people judge me on that fact. I use Tofu for mine, a real vegetarian doesn't eat eggs, atleast any I know or read about. then you haven't heard of many vegetarians.. you may be referring to vegans, though? Vegetarianism is the practice of following a plant based diet including fruits, vegetables, cereal grains, nuts, and seeds, mushrooms, which are fungi not plants, with or without dairy products and eggs. That's from a website, now its just my opinion that a real vegetarian doesn't eat eggs.

I'm a vegetarian, an ovo-vegetarian to be exact, not a vegan. Vegetarians don't eat any kind of meat, as far as I know eggs aren't meat. Vegans don't eat meat, eggs, or dairy. If you eat dairy but not eggs, then your a lacto - vegetarian.

So again its just my opinion that a real Vegetarian doesn't eat eggs. Its nothing against you.

If you guys are gonna come in here, don't say you meat and poop, just give your opinions. Here's my opinion and I'll admit from the start that I didn't go to the site and see the video because I've seen all of that stuff before. First of all, props to you for having something you believe in and feeling passionately about it to try to convince others without beating them over the head with it. I wish everyone was more like that. Second of all, if you want to be more convincing you need to write a little better. People tend to dismiss poorly written arguments with poor grammar and spelling. I'd also avoid making pathos appeals and focus more on empirical evidence. Is eating vegetarian healthier? Do vegetarians live longer? Focus on the evidence. You'll make a much stronger argument that way. suprised the amount of replys first of all second, not trying to "convert" anyone, just like well, i try NOT to watch these things cause they make me sad/mad, but i did and this is bad, like the torturous side of it, how they're so ruthless, just wanted opinions and such i love animals and humans alike too much to torture, i know first hand it sucks, alot, and i wouldnt wish it upon anyone animal or human, so thats my main reason, i can survive without the deaths of others so 2 lives can live instead of just 1
