i dont think the scan looks like andre @ all, my opinion though, he looks like he's been working out also, i love all the other legends figures, but not this one

No Fro so far... but the headscan looks great!
The only thing I can't get over is the Elite articulation point in the upper body. Without it a lot of Elite figures would look a LOT better!

yea, awesome head. cant wait for him to sneek behind mattel macho and work choke him with his MASSIVE GIANT HANDS!! but that body... hopin it was quickly put 2gth 4 proto pic cause andre never had Striations in his side deltoids!! Why wouldn't they release that amazing figure in the normal line, now I have to pay 70 bucks for a ring I don't want? And how are Jakks making Andre at the same time Mattel is?

Great looking figure, but I agree you shouldn't have to buy a $60 ring just to get it. They did say he was going to have the afro which I thought meant an early 1980's Andre, but this is cool too. They should throw in a white outfit Bobby Heenan and motorized ring cart to complete the set and make it a WrestleMania III special edition.

i love the andre figure, it has, what i think, is one of the best scans ever. however, i don't think i'm going to bite the bullet and get the ring just for him. i have two RSR's i just can't rationalize buying another one.
