Albuquerque just got more colorful -- and it's not because of the trees changing. The second season of "Lucha Libre USA: Masked Warriors" from MTV2 has a new home at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino! "This keeps Albuquerque right on track in the (film) industry," Mayor Richard Berry said at a press conference Tuesday. "MTV2 is going to bring in the spotlight and shine it on Albuquerque." "Albuquerque was the perfect fit for the second season," said David Hazan, chief marketing officer from Lucha Libre USA. "There is an audience here, and it's central to a lot of places in the Southwest." At the conference, wrestlers Tigresa Caliente, Sydistiko and Tinieblas, Jr. said the coming season is going to be full of drama. "It's like a telenovela," Sydistiko said. The reality show will start filming during its first event on Nov. 14 at the casino, being dubbed the "Casa de Lucha". Tickets are on sale now and start at just $15!

-- In some breaking news, it was revealed moments ago via the official Lucha Libre USA Facebook page that the company will be holding an 8-team tournament to crown the inaugural Tag Team Champions when the company returns to production on November 14 from Albuquerque, New Mexico. No teams have been confirmed for the tournament, however, it should be noted that Lucha Libre USA currently have 11 active teams so it will be interesting to see which teams are not included in the tournament brackets. -- RJ Brewer, who has been under contract with the Lucha Libre USA organization since its inception, will make his debut during the company's second season of Masked Warriors. Brewer was set to make his debut during season one but after injurying his ankle at an independent show in the Detroit area, RJ's debut was scrapped. Brewer remains the only company orginal yet to debut on-screen. RJ is not booked for the first set of Masked Warriors tapings on November 14, however, he was confirmed by Marco Corleone to be booked for the company's second set of tapings (reportedly taking place in early 2011). -- With the debut of Season 2 fast approaching, Lucha Libre USA have been scouting for new talent to join the promotion. Rumours have been circling for days now as to who has been offered a contract with the organization but the only name that can be confirmed is Leva Bates, best known for her work with SHIMMER Women Athletes. Leva has since confirmed the signing on her Twitter page. Mexican star Shocker has been linked to the promotion but Shocker has yet to comment on the rumors floating around. -- Amazing Kong is reported to be working a PPA (Pay Per Apperance) contract as she was reluctant to sign a written contract which would stop her from making independent appearances. Kong's refusal to sign a written deal reportedly has left management reluctant to give her a serious push within the company with the fear that she may stop appearing for the promotion at any given time.

Taped on November 14, 2010 - Airing on Tape Delay [/sup][/blockquote] | Masked Warriors on MTV2 January 7, 2011 @ Albuquerque, NM. Hosted by Nigel Sherrod and Lalo Gonzalez |
After a pyrotechnic display, Nigel Sherrod and Lalo Gonzalez welcome us to Masked Warriors right here in Albuquerque - the new home of Masked Warriors! The pair quickly run down tonight's card with Charly Malice vs. Super Nova scheduled for the main event, plus the debut of King V and the first opening round match in an 8-team tournament to crown the inaugural LLUSA Tag Team Champions! 1) Hurricayne Helms and Mentallo with Leva Bates defeated The Pink and Black Attack ( Chi Chi and Joey Ryan) with Tigresa Caliente in the LLUSA Tag Team Championship Tournament when Helms hit Joey with a Diving Crossbody. (8:43) In our opening contest, the superhero team of Hurricayne Helms and Mentallo challenged the eccentric team of Chi Chi and Joey Ryan. Making her Masked Warriors debut was Leva Bates, who is best known for her appearances with SHIMMER Women Athletes and a few appearances with TNA Wrestling. Leva is known for her over the top superhero costumes, so she is a perfect fit for working with Helms and Mentallo. Both these teams were eager to get the victory and move on in the Tag Championship Tournament as they gave it their all. In the end, it would be Helms and Mentallo advancing after Mentallo nailed Joey with a Superkick and as he stumbled around, Helms hit a Diving Crossbody to secure the win! Helms and Mentallo celebrate their victory with Leva before a graphic flashes up on the screen, revealing the rest of the brackets. Pequeño Halloween is backstage looking for someone as he checks each room he passes. Reby Sky appears, asking him who exactly he's looking for. Before Halloween can go on any further, the look on his face. The camera pans out, revealing King V standing there. Halloween and Reby run off out of fear as V grins while Lalo and Nigel hype King V's Masked Warriors debut which is up next! Commercial Break A video package rolls using footage of unaired footage that has already been taped for future airing. The video promises that season two of Masked Warriors will be "even bigger and even faster" than season one was! The video featured a small clip of RJ Brewer, who is the last remaining star who has been signed since the inception but has yet to make his debut, confirming a season two debut for RJ. 2) King V defeated Máscara Púrpura with a Samoan Drop. (4:39) In his Lucha Libre USA debut, the 6'9", 587lbs King V went up against 5'5", 176lbs Máscara Púrpura in what was a completely one-sided contest. Máscara attempted to take the fight to V, but most of his attacks had no impact on the mastodon. V picked Púrpura apart for most of the match, toying around with him before putting him in a Bearhug but Máscara battled back and began to mount a comeback but it all came to a screeching halt when he ran straight into a Samoan Drop from V. The referee raises the hand of V afterwards as Púrpura is stretchered away. Sherrod and Gonzalez talk about how King V has put the entire Lucha Libre USA roster on notice! Commercial Break Reby Sky is backstage at the interview area with the Heavyweight Champion, Marco Corleone. Marco tells Reby that he is so stoked that Masked Warriors is back for season two and he takes great pride in being the face of the company. Marco says there are some new faces here and he is excited to see how they all adapt to the lucha style. 3) Charly Malice defeated Super Nova with a Cradle DDT. (10:17) In a friendly encounter to close the show this week, Charly Malice battled his good friend Super Nova, who will also be his tag partner in the LLUSA Tag Team Championship Tournament, in a tremendous main event. Nova's speed and agility helped him maintain control for most of the match, pulling off a series of wicked aerial assaults on Malice including a Springboard Asai DDT! With the Heavyweight Champion, Marco Corleone at the commentator's table with Lala and Nigel to scout a possible future challenger, Malice and Nova were even more determined to get the win and send a message to Marco. As the match roared on, Nova hit Malice with a Shooting Star Press but before the referee began his count, the music of the Treachery began to play as the arena turned to a red colour. Nova stood facing the rampway but no member of the Treachery appeared until Rellik rolled into the ring behind Nova and clobbered him over the back of the head unbeknownst to Malice and the referee. Rellik left the ring as Malice took advantage of the downed Nova, hitting a Cradle DDT for the 1-2-3! Malice's hand is raised by the referee before he see's Rellik's attack on Nova replayed on the screen. Malice reliases what happened and helps Nova to his feet whilst apologizing. Nova isn't happy and shoves Malice as the the pair start squaring up! Nova pie faces Malice and rolls out of the ring, brushing him off. © 2011 MTV Networks. All Rights Reserved.

Glad this is back Jord. Will be intresting to see where you take this. I like alot of the roster additions. Liking the tag tourney and would love the Treachery to win the straps. Suprised the pink and black didn't win since thier an actual team, although I'd rather see Ryan singles. I'm guessing King V is big daddy V which seems another good addition and could be built up slowly to be a threat to Corleone's title. Good luck and keep this up.

Taped on November 14, 2010 - Airing on Tape Delay [/sup][/blockquote] 0) ODB defeated Tigresa Caliente with a Running Powerslam. (5:51) In a match taped exclusively for "Lucha Xtra", which will be broadcasted every Sunday on MTV.com and hosted by Reby Sky who will recap what went down that week in Lucha Libre USA aswell as present an exclusive match. Former TNA Women's Knockout Champion, ODB made her debut on the program by facing off against Tigresa in a decent match that was sloppy at times. Caliente missed an Axe Kick, allowing ODB to scoop her up and hit a Running Powerslam for the 1-2-3. As ODB celebrates her win, Amazing Kong hit the ring and attacked her! Kong nailed ODB with an Amazing Bomb before grabbing Tigresa and slamming her with an Implant Buster! Kong leaves, damage done. | Masked Warriors on MTV2 January 14, 2011 @ Albuquerque, NM. Hosted by Nigel Sherrod and Lalo Gonzalez |
1) Carly Colón, Jr. with Sweet Papi Sanchez defeated Pequeño Halloween with the Backstabber. (7:49) In the opener to the show this week, Colón went up against Pequeño in what was surprisingly a really technical match. With Carly scheduled to compete in the LLUSA Tag Team Championship Tournament, Pequeño seemed intent on breaking Colón's arm in order to remove him from the tournament. His crazy antics helped knock Carly off guard as he didn't know what Halloween was going to pull off next. After failing to connect with a Moonsault, Pequeño stumbled around giving Carly time to get to his feet and pull of a Springboard Crossbody before following it up with the Backstabber! Reby Sky is backstage with ODB, who is making her first appearance with the company. ODB tells Reby that she is pumped to be here and she can't wait to make her in-ring debut this Sunday on the debut episode of Lucha Xtra on MTV.com against Tigresa Caliente. Reby wishes ODB luck before she walks right into Amazing Kong. ODB hands her a beer but Kong crushes the can and ODB calls her a crazy bitch. Commercial Break Rellik is backstage with his hood up and Lizmark, Jr. and Sydistiko standing by either side of him. He looks up at the camera and says that last week he made it perfectly clear that The Treachery have an issue with Super Nova and they will not stop until Nova takes a step back and out of the spotlight! Lizmark says this is the year of The Treachery and they will not stop until they own all the LLUSA gold. 2) Super Nova (with Charly Malice) defeated Joey Ryan (with Chi Chi and Tigresa Caliente) with an Asai DDT. (6:00) Highly entertaining and competitive match with Super Nova looking to redeem himself to the fans after losing to friend Charly Malice in last weeks main event after Rellik of The Treachery interfered. Joey really held his own, not wasting any time by going straight to work on Nova and keeping him grounded from pulling off any aerial attacks. For the most part, Ryan was in control, however, he took his eye off Nova to taunt the crowd, giving Super Nova time in the process to get to his feet and begin to mount a comeback. It wouldn't be long until Nova hit Ryan with an Asai DDT for the 1-2-3. Charly raises Super Nova's arm in victory as Nigel Sherrod and Lalo Gonzalez wonder if Nova will get some retribution on Rellik. Commercial Break Lalo Gonzalez is standing in the ring for his in-ring interview with the LLUSA Heavyweight Champion, Marco Corleone. Lalo comes across as a heel due to his mannerisms and the crowd don't take too kindly to him berating them to shut up as he wants to speak. Lalo introduces Marco, who comes to the ring in casual gear with his Heavyweight Belt and his best friend Solid not far behind. Lalo welcomes Marco to the first ever edition of The G Spot with Lalo Gonzalez. Marco thanks him for the kind introduction and he feels honored to be the first ever guest on the show. Lalo cuts right to the chase and tells Marco that he doesn't think he should be the champion of the company. Marco tells Lalo that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Marco tries to keep it cool as Lalo continuously makes fun of him until Marco eventually snaps and smacks the mic out of Lalo's hand. Marco backs Lalo into the corner as the crowd go wild, expecting to see their favourite hand Lalo the beating he deserves. Suddenly, King V slides into the ring and attacks Marco from behind. V lays into Marco with shots to the ribs and back which have more effect than you would expect. V hits a Samoan Drop before Lalo encourages him to hit a Big Splash! Solid attempts to defend his buddy Marco but he is dropped with a clothesline by V before Lalo kicks him out of the ring. Lalo raises the hand of V and yells that we are looking at the next LLUSA Heavyweight Champion! What a dramatic debut edition of The G Spot. Commercial Break We see footage of Marco Corleone being helped to the back by Solid and some medics during the commercial break. Reby Sky is backstage with Los Aviadores de Lucha, comprised of Zokre and Phoenix Star. The duo seem amped up ahead of their first round match in the LLUSA Tag Team Championship Tournament. Zokre promises victory, claiming that they're going into this tournament as the underdogs and finishing it as the inaugural Tag Champs. 3) The Treachery ( Lizmark, Jr. and Sydistiko) with Rellik defeated Los Aviadores de Lucha ( Phoenix Star and Zokre) in the LLUSA Tag Team Championship Tournament when Sydistiko hit Zokre with a Brainbuster. (9:33) This proved to be a highly entertaining main event, with a bit of an old school feel as it wasn't the big stars of the show who brought the programme to a close. Both teams meshed well together and the crowd really ate up this one up from the get-go. Zokre and Star really used their aerobatic style to their advantage here, however, after Rellik tripped Zokre up it allowed Sydistiko time to take control and make the tag to Lizmark, Jr., who went on to pick Zokre apart. Super Nova came sprinting down the ramp, yanking Rellik off the ring apron and the pair brawled through the crowd as Lizmark watched on. Zokre was eventually able to fight back, taking Lizmark down before making the hot tag to Phoenix Star who entered the ring with a Springboard Hurricanrana, taking Lizmark out in the process. With Lizmark rolling to the floor outside, Sydistiko automatically became the legal man and he attempted to attack Star from behind but he scouted it and took Sydistiko down with a wicked Backbreaker. Star climbed to the top in preparation for an apparent 450 Splash but Lizmark crotched him and knocked him down onto the top rope. Sydistiko picked up the pieces by drilling him with a Brainbuster! Sydistiko and Lizmark celebrate their victory on the outside, much to the dismay of the New Mexico audience. The show comes to a close with Zokre checking on an unresponsive Star as The Treachery continue their celebration on the ramp way and motion that they are coming for the tag straps. © 2011 MTV Networks. Liking the Xtra idea, should give you more time to show off the talent. Good to see Carly get the win. I like the link back to Xtra. Nice Treachery promo, hoping they do well in the tournument hopefully win it. Super Nova winning makes sense since he has a storyline and Ryan is just a tag teamer. G Spot lol. Liking the long promo bit and sets up a King V title match. Good to see the Treachery win, in this is Sydistiko still TJP? Good luck and keep this up.

-- Lucha Libre USA continue to use social networking as a way to further current storylines as the promotion have been using both Twitter and Facebook to keep fans up-to-date on the injury that Marco Corleone suffered at the hands of King V this past week on Masked Warriors. The promotion noted that Corleone has been advised by doctors to take some time off to re-cooperate after he shattered his ribs at the hands of King V on the debut edition of The G Spot, hosted by Lalo Gonzalez, on Masked Warriors. A Tweet was later sent out via the official Lucha Libre USA Twitter account stating that the status of the LLUSA Heavyweight Championship is still to be determined. Lalo Gonzalez sent out a Tweet not long later claiming that Marco got what he deserved and that King V will not stop until he is champion. -- With a new series comes new faces and Lucha Libre USA have signed up some seriously talented competitors for the second series of Masked Warriors on MTV2. Among the names signed include Leva Bates and King V, who have both made their debuts already. There are rumours floating that the promotion have shown interest in the sibling of a current WWE Superstar, a reality star and several talent who influence their style on lucha libre. Delirious hinted at joining the promotion after posting a photo of him with Marco Corleone on his MySpace page, sparking rumors that he has put pen to paper. -- Ratings for Masked Warriors since its return to the air for season two have been on the incline. The premier episode of the season garnered a 0.48, slightly higher than the average 0.43 the show got for the majority of season one. The second episode was up slightly, pulling in 0.49 viewers. It will be interesting to see if this is a trend and if the ratings will continue to climb with each episode. -- Joey Ryan is reportedly working through several injuries. The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Ryan is battling neck issues, as well as persistent and lingering elbow issues. While nothing has been mentioned in terms of him taking off any time in the ring, it's being said that Joey is more beat up then he is letting on. More on this developing story as it becomes available.

Taped on November 14, 2010 - Airing on Tape Delay [/sup][/blockquote] 0) Lizmark, Jr. defeated Hurricayne Helms with a Roll-Up. (7:05) In a match taped for Lucha Xtra on MTV.com, 1/3 of The Treachery in Lizmark, Jr. battled Hurricayne Helms, who is 1/3 of The Justice Division in an outstanding affair. Both these men will collide in tag action when the second round of the LLUSA Tag Team Championship Tournament kicks off and so both men were eager to get the win here and have a small advantage heading into the second round. With Rellik, Sydistiko, Leva Bates and Mentallo absent from ringside it allowed for Helms and Lizmark to have a good clean fight, however, it didn't last for long as Lizmark was soon back to his old tricks by doing whatever he could to maintain control. With the crowd firmly behind him, Helms began to mount a comeback and appeared to have things going his way as he set Lizmark up for the Vertebreaker. Lizmark countered it by shoving Helms away and into the turnbuckle pad he exposed earlier in the match unbeknownst to the referee. A dazed and confused Helms had no time to turn around as Lizmark rolled him up out of the corner and used the ropes for extra leverage to steal the victory! | Masked Warriors on MTV2 January 21, 2011 @ Albuquerque, NM. Hosted by Nigel Sherrod and Lalo Gonzalez |
After we are welcomed to the broadcast by Nigel Sherrod and Lalo Gonzalez, we turn our attention to Rebecca Reyes in the ring. She has a microphone and a sheet of paper in hand. After announcing to the crowd that she has been asked by the Lucha Libre USA commission to read out the following: "The Lucha Libre USA commission have taken note at the out-of-hand antics displayed by various luchastars as of late and it is in the programs best interest to instate an authority figure to be on-hand each week to keep the show under control. The committee have decided on an authority figure after a vote and the new commissioner of Masked Warriors is on their way to the venue right now and will be on the broadcast before the hour is up." 1) Mascarita Dorada vs. Mini Park vs. Misteriosito ends in a No Contest when Amazing Kongs interferes. (5:53) In our opening contest, the Mini's of Masked Warriors took to the ring for a fast-paced energetic triple threat match that was one fall to a finish. Dorada impressed with a series of unorthodox attacks, however, it was Mini Park who got the biggest reception from the crowd. With Park looking to finish Misteriosito off with a Moonsault, the music of Amazing Kong played as she came walking down the ramp as Park, Misteriosito and Dorada froze in fear in the ring. Once Kong was in the ring, Misteriosito being the only Rudo sacrificed Park by shoving him into Kong as he bailed from the ring! Dorada didn't want any of Kong, opting to stay out her path as she set Park up for an Amazing Bomb. Before Kong can follow through with the Amazing Bomb, the ever-intoxicated ODB comes charging down the ramp in street gear to a thunderous response from the Albuquerque crowd. She saves Mini Park from an Amazing Bomb and the pair hit two simultaneous dropkicks to send Kong crashing through the middle rope and to the floor! ODB and Park work the crowd as Kong goes nuts on the outside. Commercial Break Rebecca Reyes is standing by in the back with Sydistiko, who is without his Treachery stablemates Rellik and Lizmark, Jr. Sydistiko spends the interview telling Rebecca about The Treachery's problem with The Latin Liberators, Super Nova and Charly Malice. Super Nova cuts off the interview, telling Sydistiko that he and Charly can't wait to meet The Treachery inside the ring as they're going to take great pleasure in pinning them. Before Sydistiko can respond, Nova zips shut Sydistiko's mask and whacks him with a right hand shot! Nova walks off as Sydistiko holds his face, letting out a sadistic laugh. 2) Dinastía ( El Orientál and Tinieblas, Jr.) defeat Carly Colón, Jr. and Sweet Papi Sanchez in the LLUSA Tag Team Championship Tournament when Dinastía hit Colón with a Powerbomb/Moonsault combination. (8:11) In the third of four first round matches in the Tag Team Championship Tournament, Dinastía battled Colón, Jr. and Sweet Papi Sanchez in a standard tag match. Sanchez isn't exactly the best in-ring worker, however, the crowd love him and tonight he was used in a role he's best at - the big man. He took the fight to both Orientál and Tinieblas, who reliased that the only way they were going to take control was if Carly was the legal man or if they could ground Sanchez, who pulled off a series of power moves on both members of Dinastía. After laying Tinieblas, Jr. out with a wicked Spinebuster, Sanchez made the tag to Colón who proceeded to work over Tinieblas in preparation for a possible Backstabber. After Tinieblas poked the eyes of Carly, Sanchez attempted to enter the ring but the referee stopped him allowing Tinieblas, Jr. to hit Carly with a Powerbomb before Orientál nailed a Moonsault. Tinieblas knocked Sanchez off the apron with a forearm as the referee counted the pin. As Dinastía celebrate their advancement in the tournament much to the crowds dismay, Papi Sanchez helps Colón to his feet inside the ring as we cut to a commercial. Commercial Break We see a car pull up and someone step out it but the cameraman only focuses on the feet, leaving the identity of the new commissioner a secret! In a phone interview, Nigel Sherrod has the Heavyweight Champion Marco Corleone on the line due to Marco not being at the show after being attacked by King V on the debut edition of The G Spot hosted by Lalo Gonzalez. Marco tells Nigel that he wanted nothing more than to attend the show tonight, however, he cannot due to doctors orders. He claims he'll be here next week and he can't wait to get his hands on King V. Colour commentator Lalo Gonzalez pipes up, telling Marco that his days as champion are numbered to which Marco begins to raise his voice and yell at Lalo. As Marco is yelling at Lalo that he is going to beat him up, Lalo cuts the line and claims that Marco hung up because he is afraid of Lalo. Nigel is clearly disgusted at Lalo's actions. 3) King V defeats Super Nova with a Samoan Drop. (7:24) Fun way to bring Masked Warriors to a close this week in your classic power vs. speed match as the monstrous King V took on Super Nova. With V's manager Lalo Gonzalez at the announce table with Nigel Sherrod calling all the action, V would often look at Lalo for his reaction to what he is doing to Nova. This allowed Nova time to get back on his feet and do what he does best by pulling off a series of aerial assaults on V, however, they proved to be not enough to take the big man off his feet. Eventually, Nova hit a Tornado DDT out of the corner on V and things started to go his way! Lalo Gonzalez ripped his headset off his head and stormed down the ramp, hopping onto the apron but Nova's Latin Liberator teammate Charly Malice came running down the ramp and he yanked Lalo off the apron prompting Lalo to run off and Charly in hot pursuit after him! Suddenly, all three members of The Treachery jump Malice and beat him up on the stage, using the nearby motorcycles on the stage as a weapon! A distracted Super Nova turned around and walked right into a Samoan Drop from King V and that was all she wrote. The referee raises the hand of V, who basks in the negative reaction from the Albuquerque crowd as Nova writhes on the mat in pain. As The Treachery drag Charly Malice through the curtain and to the back before MIKE SANDERS comes out from the back! Sanders gazes out to the crowd and soaks up the attention as we fade to black. Is Mike Sanders the new commissioner of Masked Warriors?! © 2011 MTV Networks. All Rights Reserved.

Taped on December 12, 2010 - Airing on Tape Delay [/sup][/blockquote] 0) Magno defeated Chi Chi (with Tigresa Caliente) with a Shooting Star Press. (6:21) The fabulous Chi Chi and the high flying Magno had an extremely competitive match for Lucha Xtra before the taping for the January 28 episode of Masked Warriors got underway. With his BFF by his side, Chi Chi seemed intent on prancing around the ring and distracting the referee long enough for the fierce Tigresa to get cheap shots in on Magno! Chi Chi appeared to have the match closed when he took Magno down with a Snap DDT but he wasn't finished there as he held Magno up for Tigresa to roll into the ring and try her luck with a big boot, however, Magno dodged it and Tigresa laid Chi Chi out by mistake! Magno knocked Caliente out of the ring before hitting a picture perfect Shooting Star Press on Chi Chi for the win. | Masked Warriors on MTV2 January 28, 2011 @ Albuquerque, NM. Hosted by Nigel Sherrod and Lalo Gonzalez |
After a warm welcome from Nigel Sherrod and a negative welcome by Lalo Gonzalez, the current reigning and defending LLUSA Heavyweight Champion in Marco Corleone comes down the ramp into the arena to a wild response. Marco has a microphone and he looks like he means business after being sidelined at the hands of King V. Marco cuts straight to the point and calls out King V but instead, Lalo Gonzalez leaves the announce booth and tells Marco that he has instructed V to stay in the back as he knew Marco would try call him out and provoke him to sideline him once more, pushing back V's pending Heavyweight Championship match even further. V slowly walks out, however, he stays behind Lalo who is doing all the trash talking. Marco challenges V to a match right here, right now for the title before he flys over the top rope and takes V out! As the pair brawl, security spill into the arena and split them up just as Mike Sanders comes down the ramp in a suit and clutching a mic. Mike confirms that he is the new Masked Warriors commissioner and he isn't allowing Marco Corleone to run around booking matches whenever he pleases and for that reason, there WILL NOT be any Heavyweight Championship match tonight. The crowd aren't happy at the news but Sanders doesn't care. Mike says that he has had the show booked for a week now and Marco isn't going to run that. Mike announces that in the main event it will be Marco Corleone and King V teaming together to take on the team of Lizmark, Jr. and Rellik! Sanders warns both V and Corleone that they must co-operate or else face the consequences. 1) The Latin Liberators ( Charly Malice and Super Nova) defeated The Puerto Rican Powers ( PR Flyer and San Juan Kid) in the LLUSA Tag Team Championship Tournament when Malice locked Flyer in the El Pozo. (12:53) In the final first round match of the Tag Team Championship Tournament and our opening match, The Puerto Rican Powers collided with Charly Malice and Super Nova in a friendly tag affair that had the crowd on the edge of their seats for the entire duration of the bout. With Flyer and Kid having the tag experience edge, that seemed to throw Malice and Nova off due to their inexperience as a team having only recently came together. However, Charly and Nova's friendship and contrasting styles meant they gelled well as a duo and pulled off a series of unique tag team moves. Nova was able to connect with an Asai DDT on San Juan Kid but as he covered, the lights in the arena went red and The Treachery's theme played. Both Nova and Malice anticipated the arrival of Rellik, Lizmark, Jr. and Sydistiko, however, they didn't appear and instead Kid and Flyer simultaneously rolled up Malice and Nova but they were able to kick out just in time! As the match roared on, Malice was able to dodge a Diving Crossbody from Flyer before synching in the El Pozo leaving him no choice but to submit in the centre of the ring as Nova took Kid out on the floor with a Moonsault off the apron! Malice and Nova shake hands with the Puerto Rican Powers before celebrating their victory, however, they don't celebrate for long as the pair leave the ring and head up the ramp apparently in pursuit of The Treachery after they cost Nova his main event contest versus King V last week here on Masked Warriors! Commercial Break The Latin Liberators are shown storming through a hallway backstage, checking each room that they pass to try find Rellik, Sydistiko or Lizmark, Jr. The pair don't seem to be having any luck until they spot Sydistiko in the distance taunting Mascarita Dorada by holding Dorada's possessions in the air. As Charly and Nova sprint down the hallway, Sydistiko spots them and drops Mascarita's bag before running through a door and getting in a car before speeding off out of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's parking garage! 2) Amazing Kong defeated Leva Bates with the Amazing Bomb. (3:12) Leva might think she's a super-heroine, however, not even her superpowers could help her tonight as the absolutely monstrous Kong was in her way. Unfortunately for poor Leva, her kicks and jabs had little to no effect on Kong, who ragdolled her around the ring before eventually slam-dunking Leva with an Amazing Bomb. Before Kong can celebrate her victory, the rowdy ODB comes charging down the ramp and slides into the ring before flying at Kong with a series of rights and lefts! ODB takes a swig out her flask before spitting the whisky in Kong's face, momentarily blinding her. Mini Park appears on the top rope, flying off with a Missile Dropkick at the same time as ODB nails a Running Dropkick! Kong falls down and rolls under the bottom rope, not wanting anything to do with ODB and Park. ODB challenges Kong to a tag match, ODB and Park vs. Kong and a Mini of her choice! Kong nods her head in approval. Commercial Break Rebecca Reyes is standing by at the interview area with the Heavyweight Champion, Marco Corleone just moments away from Marco's upcoming tag team match were he must team with his rival King V to take on The Treachery. Corleone tells Rebecca that he isn't happy in the slightest about teaming with V but he has no problems co-operating with V tonight - however after the bell rings at the end of the match, him and V aren't going to exactly be on good terms any longer. 3) The Treachery ( Lizmark, Jr. and Rellik) defeated Marco Corleone and King V when Lizmark hit Marco with a Superkick. (11:09) In our featured contest of the night, The Treachery (tonight made up of Lizmark, Jr. and Rellik) battled the Heavyweight Champion in Marco Corleone and the man he is feuding with, King V in an explosive tag team affair. For most of the beginning, V and Marco couldn't work together at all and instead we saw Lizmark and Rellik hold their own as their experience as a unit came into play. As Lizmark pulled a pair of brass knuckles out his pants and began to size up V, Marco came to his aid and took Lizmark out with a wicked flying forearm! Rellik's attempt at blindsiding Marco failed as he countered it with a Spinebuster and set V up to hit a Running Splash onto the downed Rellik! As V covered and the referee began the count, Sydistiko has returned to the venue as he hits the ring and jumos onto the apron distracting the referee. While V dealt with Sydistiko by throwing him like a ragdoll into the fourth row of the crowd, Rellik capitalized on the ref's distraction by spitting red mist into the champions eyes before Lizmark nailed a stiff Superkick to steal one! Lizmark and Rellik waste no time in celebrating their victory on the rampway without Sydistiko, who is seeing stars in the crowd. It hits King V what just happened and as he enters the ring, Marco isn't too happy and he gets up in V's face blaming him for their loss. As the pair begin to exchange rights and lefts, Lalo Gonzalez leaves the announce booth and runs down the ramp as Nigel Sherrod yells that this is all we have time for this week and to join us next week to see what the fallout of this will be!!! © 2011 MTV Networks. Taped on December 12, 2010 for MTV2 - Airing on Tape Delay [/sup] 0) Joey Ryan (with Chi Chi and Tigresa Caliente) defeated Lujo Esquire with the Super 70 Superkick. (6:57) In a match taped for Lucha Xtra on MTV.com, the 7" Lujo Esquire battled the flamboyant Joey Ryan in a match that saw Esquire dominant for most of the match by using a series of power moves and throws to keep him in the drivers seat. Realizing that Joey was in trouble, Chi Chi attempted saving him as he charged at Lujo but he ran right into Lujo's hand around his throat as he motioned to the crowd for a Chokeslam! Tigresa looked to save Chi Chi here but Lujo grabbed her with his free hand and hit a Double Chokeslam to a huge ovation! The flamboyant pair rolled out to the floor before Esquire turned around and Joey nailed the Super 70 Superkick for 3! Hosted by Nigel Sherrod and Lalo Gonzalez 1) The Treachery ( Rellik and Sydistiko) defeated The Justice Division ( Hurricayne Helms and Mentallo) (with Leva Bates) in the LLUSA Tag Team Championship Tournament when Rellik hit Mentallo with the Demon Driver. (7:44) In the first match of the quarter finals in the Tag Team Championship tournament, The Justice Division took on The Treachery in a match where we saw the Freebird rule implemented as Rellik took Lizmark, Jr.'s spot due to Lizmark earning himself a shot at Marco Corleone's Heavyweight Championship in tonight's main event. Rellik and Sydistiko brutally punished Mentallo for a lot of the match, tagging each other in and out to keep fresh until Mentallo was able to battle back and take Rellik out when he dodged Rellik's Diving Legdrop and made the tag to Helms, who entered the ring and went wild! As Helms prepared to set Sydistiko up for the Vertebreaker, Rellik came in out of nowhere and hit a Big Boot that sent Helms crashing to the floor outside and making Mentallo the legal man in the process. Rellik grabs Mentallo and hits the Demon Driver to pick up the pinfall for his team and advance! Commercial Break Rebecca Reyes is in the backstage area with Lizmark, Jr., who tonight will challenge Marco Corleone for the LLUSA Heavyweight Championship after pinning Marco last week on Masked Warriors. Lizmark tells Rebecca that tonight he will capture what is rightfully his - the Heavyweight Championship. And in a matter of weeks, Rellik and Sydistiko will claim the Tag Team Championships making The Treachery the most dominant stable in lucha libre history. 2) ODB and Mini Park defeated Amazing Kong and Pequeño Halloween when ODB hit Halloween with a Running Powerslam. (4:06) Really fun tag match here with the Chica's and the Mini's as the seemingly romantically linked couple of ODB and Mini Park locked horns with the monstrous Amazing Kong and the ever-creepy Pequeño Halloween, who have had no previous interaction on the show until now. With ODB and Kong feuding as of late, the pair were dying to go at it, however, Pequeño and Park spent a good portion of the match putting on quite an entertaining showcase. Eventually Kong and ODB were let loose in the ring and they really went at it, doing whatever they could to get the upper hand. Kong took control at one point and as she sized ODB up, she charged at her but Mini Park dived in-front and took the brunt of Kong's running corner splash! ODB dropkicked Kong through the middle rope and to the floor outside. Halloween charged at ODB but she scooped him up and nailed an awkward looking Running Powerslam for the win. ODB checks on Mini Park, who is dazed after being flattened by Kong's corner splash. ODB carries Park up the ramp in her arms as Halloween blames Kong for their loss. Kong has had enough of him and she kicks him in the gut before drilling poor Halloween with the Implant Buster! Kong swaggers up the ramp, pleased with her post-match attack. Commercial Break ODB is still shown carrying Mini Park in her arms into the nurses room. As ODB puts Park down on a bed, the curtains around the bed are suddenly slid open and we see a provocatively dressed nurse standing there. She introduces herself as Chrissy Cialis before immediately attempting mouth-to-mouth on Mini Park! ODB is having none of it as she pushes Cialis to the floor before leading Park out of the room. Marco Corleone is shown stretching in the back with his Heavyweight Championship sitting on a bench beside him. He picks up the title and heads out into the hallway where Rebecca Reyes stops him for a quick few words. Marco tells Rebecca that Lizmark, Jr. may have already pinned him before but it isn't going to happen again here tonight and it's going to take alot to take this title away from him! Commercial Break 3) Marco Corleone (with Solid) defeated Lizmark, Jr. to retain the LLUSA Heavyweight Championship after the Air Corleone. (10:38) After pinning Marco Corleone in tag team action last week, it was only fair that Lizmark, Jr. faced Marco for the Heavyweight Championship here tonight. Both Marco and Lizmark put on an excellent main event for the crowd, who were on the edge of their seats for the entire duration. Around 8 minutes in and Corleone looked to put Lizmark away with the Air Corleone, however, Lizmark was able to get out of harms way leaving Marco to eat turnbuckle before he rolled him up and perched his feet on the ropes for extra leverage! As the referee made the count, Solid pointed out Lizmark using the ropes and the referee stopped the pin and began to yell at Lizmark. After pie facing the referee, Lizmark stormed over to Marco but he was guillotined off the top rope and as a dazed Lizmark stumbled around the ring, Marco bounced off the ropes and hit the Air Corleone in the middle of the ring as opposed to the usual corner attack! Marco hooked the leg and that was all she wrote. As Corleone celebrates with his championship belt, Lizmark clobbers him from behind before Rellik and Sydistiko join him inside the ring for a three on one beatdown. It's not long before the music of King V begins to play as the big man slowly makes his way down the ramp and into the ring. While Relik and Sydistiko hold up a semi-conscious Corleone for V and Lizmark eggs V on, King V surprises everyone by flooring Lizmark with a clothesline! Rellik dropped Corleone and ran over to V but he was leveled with a right hand chop to the temple. Sydistiko then proceeds to run at him too, but one Samoan Drop later and he's down too! The Treachery attempt to fight back, but Corleone and V work as a unit to send them packing before they cautiously size each other up. V mouths to Marco that if anyone is going to take his title and sideline him, it will be King V! © 2011 MTV Networks. All Rights Reserved.[/blockquote]

Taped on December 12, 2010 for MTV2 - Airing on Tape Delay [/sup] 0) The Puerto Rican Powers ( San Juan Kid and PR Flyer) defeated Neutronic and El Limón when Kid and Flyer hit Limón with a Frankensteiner/450 Splash combination. (6:15) In a match taped for Lucha Xtra.com, 4 of the most infrequently seen luchastars under Lucha Libre USA contract took to the ring for some tag action. Neutronic used his strength advantage to keep both San Juan Kid and PR Flyer grounded with a series of big slams and drops. Neutronic eventually made the tag to El Limón who came in taunting the crowd rather than keeping his eye on The Puerto Rican Powers, allowing them time to get back on their feet and begin to mount a comeback. Both Flyer and Kid hit some nice aerial moves on both Neutronic and Limón before putting away Limón when Kid hit a Franksteiner on him before Flyer came flying off another turnbuckle with a 450 Splash! Hosted by Nigel Sherrod and Lalo Gonzalez
Both Lalo Gonzalez and Nigel Sherrod welcome us to another episode of Masked Warriors on MTV before the camera abruptly cuts away and focuses on the crowd where we can see Rellik and King V brawling with each other! The brawl leads all the way down to the barrier where it spills over to the ringside area. Both men end up in the ring juts as a referee comes running down the rampway and slides into the ring, calling for the bell to signal the start of this impromptu match-up! 1) King V vs. Rellik ends in a No Contest when Lizmark, Jr. and Sydistiko interfere on behalf of Rellik. (6:26) This was a really hard hitting encounter as both big men are determined to make a statement here on Masked Warriors. It appears that Rellik isn't best pleased with King V being next in line for a shot at Marco Corleone's LLUSA Heavyweight Championship and he let V know that he plans on being the one to dethrone Marco. As both men continue to exchange blows, V blocks Rellik's attempt at a crossbody off the second rope by catching him and then flipping him over onto his shoulders and connecting with a Samoan Drop! Before V can cover, Rellik's Treachery stablemates in Sydistiko and Lizmark, Jr. hit the ring and put the boots to King V, leaving the official no choice but to call for the bell and end this one as a No Contest! As The Treachery attack King V like a pack of wild dogs, Marco Corleone charges down to the ringside area and assists V in sending all three members of The Treachery packing! King V is not best pleased with Marco assisting him as the pair get into a shoving war while V tells Marco that he had everything under control. We cut to a commercial as Marco and V bicker! Commercial Break Mike Sanders is shown pacing around his office backstage on his cellphone, presumably to network management, talking about how he no longer has a main event but he has things under control. Sanders ends the call just as there's knock on his office door and in comes the referee of the King V vs. Rellik match. Mike tells the referee that because he decided it would be a good idea he has completely ruined tonight's show and so his services are no longer required. Security drag the pleading referee out as Sanders appears to have had a brainstorm. Mike calls for his assistant but before we can figure out what he has planned, he ushers the cameraman out of the office and closes the door. A video package plays, hyping the upcoming Masked Warriors debut of Delirious! Commercial Break 2) The Latin Liberators ( Super Nova and Charly Malice) defeated Dinastía ( El Orientál and Tinieblas, Jr.) in the LLUSA Tag Team Championship Tournament when Nova hit Tinieblas with a Shooting Star Press. (11:11) With a spot in the finals of the Tag Team Championship tournament up for grabs here, both The Latin Liberators and Dinastía really put on one hell of a showing in order to try and advance to the tournament final two weeks from now. Both Tinieblas and Orientál made constant quick tags to keep each other fresh as they maintained control over Charly, working both of his legs throughout. After Orientál spent too much time gloating, Malice was able to surprise him with a Dragon Whip! Charly crawled to Nova, making the top and prompting Nova to enter the ring with a Springboard Hurricanrana to Orientál. Nova continued to clear house, sending Orientál packing to the floor and therefore making Tinieblas the legal man. Nova ducked Tinieblas attempt a lariat and hit a sick DDT before climbing to the top rope and connecting with a Shooting Star Press to bring this one to an end! Charly and Nova are joined in the ring by Rebecca Reyes, who congratulates them on their victory and asks for their thoughts ahead of meeting The Treachery in the finals of the LLUSA Tag Team Championship Tournament. Malice tells Rebecca (in Spanish) that him and Super Nova have never been more ready and that in 2 weeks time, The Latin Liberators will be holding tag gold! Commercial Break We cut once again to commissioner Mike Sanders in his office backstage but this time he is joined by the Heavyweight Champion, Marco Corleone along with Rellik, Carly Colón, Jr. and King V. Sanders says that since his main event was ruined when King V and Rellik went out there first, he has had a brainwave and that's why he has called the four of them to his office. Sanders books Marco to defend his title against King V, Rellik and Carly Colón, Jr. in our main event tonight in a four corners, one fall to a finish match! Backstage there is a poker game going on with ODB, Mini Park, Chi Chi, Tigresa Caliente, Joey Ryan, Mascarita Dorada, Rebecca Reyes and Máscara Púrpura. Joey Ryan wins leading to ODB revealing her Queen card but Mini Park places his hand on-top of ODB's. She looks at him and asks what the hell he is doing before he stands up and goes down on one knee. He proposes for her to marry him and she accepts! ODB scoops Park up and carries him out! The remaining luchastars get into a scuffle when Chi Chi tries to cheat as we cut to another commercial. Commercial Break 3) Marco Corleone (with Solid) defeated King V, Carly Colón, Jr. (with Sweet Papi Sanchez) and Rellik (with Lizmark, Jr., Sydistiko) to retain the LLUSA Heavyweight Championship with the Air Corleone on Rellik. (9:44) Last minute addition to the show here and you can tell that Corleone and Colón weren't expecting to be in action here tonight and so they were caught off guard by Rellik and King V, who already competed in action earlier tonight. The crowd were fully behind Carly, who pulled off some nice springboard attacks on Rellik and almost won the Heavyweight Championship with a Snap DDT that left Rellik dazed and confused but Marco broke up the fall just in time. With Rellik on the outside now re-cooperating with his Treachery stablemates, Corleone seized the opportunity to take out all 3 of them with a Suicide Dive! V and Colón duked it out in the ring, with V looking for a Samoan Drop but Carly was able to wriggle free and attempt the Backstabber, however, King V held onto the ropes and so Carly went down himself. With Carly on the mat, V hit a Running Elbow Drop that almost flattened Carly right then and there. All 4 men proceeded to hit their finishing moves, but it would be Marco's Air Corleone that got him the win after hitting Rellik with it! King V isn't pleased with the outcome and in typical Masked Warriors fashion, V and Marco get into a brawl that leads to them fighting through the crowd and out of sight. Meanwhile in the ring, Colón is left all alone with The Treachery, who are starting to circle him while Sweet Papi Sanchez watches on from the outside. Carly attempts to fight back by flying at Lizmark with a forearm, knocking him down but both Rellik and Sydistiko jump Carly and soon all three members are all over a defenseless Carly! Colón yells out for Sweet Papi Sanchez to come and help him but Sanchez instead decides to walk up the ramp, turning his back on his best friend! Rellik scoops Carly up and drills him with the Demon Driver leaving The Treachery to stand tall in the ring as the show comes to a close! What the hell has gotten into Sweet Papi Sanchez?! © 2011 MTV Networks. All Rights Reserved.[/blockquote]

-- Chris Long, better known for his portrayal of Solid on MTV2's Masked Warriors, has reportedly quit the company. The Lucha Libre USA star was prominently featured on most Masked Warriors shows as the friend of current reigning Heavyweight Champion, Marco Corleone. It is unknown why Long handed in his notice but we do know that it is effective immediately as his profile has been removed from the Lucha Libre USA roster section. -- On the contrary, former WWE developmental star Hade Vansen has confirmed on his Facebook page that he has come to an agreement with Lucha Libre USA management and will begin working for the promotion at their next set of Masked Warriors tapings on January 16 tapings from The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Albuquerque, NM. Saber Cat, known for his friendship with Magno, will also be at the January 16 tapings, albeit it under the ring name of Saber Claw. -- Another new signing for Lucha Libre is Delirious, who we reported was close to agreeing to work with the company just last month. It was confirmed that he had struck a deal when vignettes for his Masked Warriors debut started airing this past week on the show, with the plan for him to be on-hand during the company's January 16 tapings in Albuquerque to make his TV debut. -- MTV2 are reportedly pleased with the ratings that Masked Warriors has been pulling in on a weekly basis. The show has maintained a number of ratings between 0.41 and 0.48 since it's debut and the network is said to be "happy" with this. The most recently broadcast (02/04/11) garnered 0.45, which is down 0.3 from last weeks. Rumours were circulating late last year that MTV management were considering giving Lucha Libre USA a bi-monthly slot on MTV Tr3́s to host shows with a concept similar to pay-per-views. However, the belief now is that the cost is preventing this from happening and that the company will stick to their current format of a weekly TV show and regular live events across the country. -- In an update on RJ Brewer's status with the company, we can reveal that he won't be flown in for the January 16 tapings. RJ is the only original roster member still yet to make their debut and the word going around backstage is that RJ has told management if he isn't used on the February tapings then he will be quitting the company as his contract obligations to Lucha Libre USA are possibly prohibiting other companies such as the WWE and TNA from signing him to a deal. Brewer posted some cryptic messages on his Twitter account, which you can find here. >>> PICTURES OF NEW ROSTER ADDITIONS SABER CAT/SABER CLAW, DELIRIOUS, HADE VANSEN AND EX-TNA KNOCKOUT TAYLOR WILDE MASKED HERE

Taped on January 16, 2011 - Airing on Tape Delay [/sup] 0) ODB (with Mini Park) defeated Nurse Chrissy Cialis with a Running Powerslam. (06:15) In a match taped for Lucha Xtra.com, the bride-to-be ODB took on the medical marvel that is Nurse Chrissy Cialis in what was Chrissy's in-ring debut here at Lucha Libre USA. With ODB sporting a veil and wearing a sash, she was clearly more than excited to get hitched to Mini Park after he popped the question last week, however, Cialis wasn't here to play games with ODB as she was here to win and she let ODB know by attacking her before the bell. With Chrissy in firm control, she proceeded to rip the veil off ODB's head and stamp on it which prompted ODB to "hulk up" and launch Cialis around the ring by her hair repeatedly. With the crowd and Park firmly behind her, ODB scooped up a dazed Cialis and drilled her with a Running Powerslam to get the win here on Lucha Xtra! Hosted by Nigel Sherrod and Lalo Gonzalez
1) Lujo Esquire {cp} and The Puerto Rican Powers ( San Juan Kid and PR Flyer) defeated Neutronic, Pequeño Halloween {cp} and Saber Claw when Esquire hit Halloween with a Jackknife Powerbomb. (08:30) We get the show off to a start with some traditional lucha libre tag team action as The Puerto Rican Powers team up with Lujo Esquire, who is their team captain, to do battle against the team lead by Pequeño Halloween, Neutronic and the debuting Saber Claw. Pequeño and Saber Claw worked well as a unit, isolating Kid from his partners and working over his right leg for a good portion of the match. Eventually Kid was able to fight back, surprising Claw with an enziguri before crawling to his corner and making the hot tag to Esquire, who came in and cleared the ring of everyone! Pequeño tried catching Lujo off-guard with a Diving Hurricanrana but Esquire blocked it and finished Halloween off with a Jackknife to pick up the victory for his trio. We see Carly Colón, Jr. arriving to the arena and he is holding his ribs after The Treachery's attack on him last week. Rebecca Reyes runs up with a microphone, asking him if he has seen or heard from Sweet Papi since last week. Carly responds that he hasn't before saying that tonight he is going to speak out about the whole situation in the ring. Rebecca questions Colón for his thoughts on being booked against King V tonight and Carly lets her know that he isn't happy and he might not be 100% physically but he is a fighter and he will leave here tonight victorious! Commercial Break A video package airs to hype the upcoming debut of Delirious right here on Masked Warriors next week! 2) Joey Ryan (with Tigresa Caliente and Chi Chi) defeated Sweet Papi Sanchez via Forfeit when Sanchez doesn't appear. (00:00) When we return from the break, Joey Ryan is in the middle of his entrance and he is flanked by Chi Chi and Tigresa Caliente. The music of Sweet Papi Sanchez hits but after a few seconds he still hasn't made an appearance before the ring announcer introduces him again as his theme loops one more time but yet again he no shows. The referee comes to the decision to throw the match out, awarding Joey Ryan a victory via forfeit! Joey drops to his knees as if he just won the World Series before Chi Chi and Tigresa hoist him up on their shoulders! The trio continue their celebration until it all comes to a halt as the theme music of King V begins to play. As V makes his way down towards the ring, Chi Chi and Tigresa back out of the ring but Joey stays in as his forfeit victory over Sweet Papi Sanchez seems to have given him a huge confidence boost. Joey marches right over to V and begins to get in his face but V is having none of it as he simply grabs ahold of Joey and throws him halfway across the ring, leaving him to scramble under the bottom rope and head backstage with his cohorts. King V is handed a microphone and he says that last week he might have had a shot at the title but he didn't agree for his title match to include anyone besides himself and Marco Corleone. V states that for every week he has to wait for his title shot, another man will fall. The clock is ticking! Commercial Break Nigel Sherrod informs us that next week on Masked Warriors will be the wedding of ODB and Mini Park! Sherrod cordially invites the viewers to join them as ODB and Park tie the knot. 3) Super Nova defeated Lizmark, Jr. with the Asai DDT to earn the right to chose the stipulation for next weeks LLUSA Tag Team Championship match (10:51) Up next here tonight was Super Nova representing The Latin Liberators against Lizmark, Jr. of The Treachery in singles action but a stipulation was looming over this one. The winner of this match would not only earn themselves some momentum heading into next weeks Tag Team Championship tournament finals but they will also win the right to pick the match stipulation for the tournament finals! With neither men's allies making an appearance here it allowed for Nova and Lizmark to have a competitive contest without any interferences or distractions, however, that didn't stop Lizmark from playing dirty on a few occassions as he was clearly still annoyed at both himself and Rellik coming up short in winning the Heavyweight Title these past 2 weeks on Masked Warriors. Lizmark and Nova both ended up down and out after Nova countered Lizmark's Crucifix Powerbomb into a Sunsetflip Powerbomb and as they both crawled around the ring, Sydistiko appeared and distracted the referee as Rellik dropped a baton from the rafters down for Lizmark! Charly Malice yanks Nova off the apron and slams his head on it before flooring him with a wicked right hand shot while Lizmark sizes up Nova with the baton as the referee is distracted by Charly and Sydistiko. Lizmark runs Nova and takes a swing but Nova ducks and instead Lizmark hits the ropes with the baton, causing a rebound that connects with himself! A dazed Lizmark, Jr. staggers around the ring and walks into an Asai DDT that is enough for Nova to pick up the victory! The Latin Liberators claim the ring as Syditisko helps a dazed Lizmark, Jr. to the back while Nova and Charly discuss the possible match stipulations. Charly gets on the microphone, telling The Treachery that since they seem to like heights with Rellik being up in the rafters, their LLUSA Tag Team Championship match next week will be a Ladder match! Commercial Break Carly Colón, Jr. comes down the rampway to a big ovation, but his taped up ribs are stopping him from being his usual energetic self as he slowly enters the ring. Colón is given a microphone by Gary Michael Cappetta before he asks for silence as he has some things that he wants to address. Carly talks about how last week he was betrayed by a man who he thought he could trust. A man who we would consider his best friend. That man is Sweet Papi Sanchez. Colón knows that Sanchez no-showed his match earlier but he knows he's in the back somewhere and he wants him to come out here and explain himself or else he will come back there and find him himself! There's a silence as we wait on if Sweet Papi will indeed come down to the ring when suddenly the arena lights begin to flicker and a static noise is heard throughout... Carly looks around at the crowd absolutely bewildered about what just came across the screen there but before he has any time to talk about it, the theme of King V begins to play as the big man emerges from the back and is met at the top of the ramp by Lalo Gonzalez, who leaves the announce table. The pair head down towards the ring as we cut to another commercial.. Commercial Break 3) King V (with Lalo Gonzalez) defeated Carly Colón, Jr. with a Bearhug. (07:19) Carly really showed his heart and desire here as even after being betrayed by Sweet Papi Sanchez and left to be fed to The Treachery last week he still came out here to face King V as scheduled, despite his bandaged up ribs. With Lalo Gonzalez leaving the announce booth to join King V at ringside, Nic Aragon filled in for him and he was slightly green but with a bit of seasoning he could be a great colour commentator. Colón really put up one heck of a fight, however, he couldn't do much due to the hurt ribs meaning he was easy pickings for the mastodon that is King V. Carly appeared to have things going his way as he fired away at V with a flurry or right hand shots before bouncing off the ropes but he ran right into a Bearhug and he had no choice but to tap out as any longer and King V would have broken him in half! King V has his hand raised by Lalo Gonzalez as he motions that the Heavyweight Championship will be his. Colón writhes on the mat as Lalo applauds King V's victory before we see Marco Corleone appear from the back in street gear and the Heavyweight Championship slung across his shoulder. Marco tells V that he's just cleared it off with commissioner Mike Sanders and he will get his title shot, one on one, next week right here on Masked Warriors! V nods his head in approval as Marco holds his title up while we fade to black. Join us next week as King V challenges Marco Corleone for the Heavyweight Title and we crown the first ever Tag Team Champions in a Ladder match - will it be The Treachery or The Latin Liberators?! © 2011 MTV Networks.
