Both teams to me are knock-offs of the Plastics from the movie Mean Girls only difference is Lay-Cool play it right whereas the Beautiful People are kinda whores (not saying they are actual whores, they just presents themselves as kinda whorish).

Here I just posted this on the TNA thread...
Vince's Devils (originally known as Ladies in Pink) was a villainous alliance of female professional wrestlers in World Wrestling Entertainment on its Raw brand. It consisted of Divas Candice Michelle, Victoria and Torrie Wilson. The three women formed their alliance in August 2005 after Wilson and Candice Michelle were traded to Raw from SmackDown!. Vince's Devils, named after WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, helped each other in their matches and rivalries until tension began growing between Wilson and Candice Michelle over the latter's April 2006 Playboy pictorial. The group officially broke apart by March 2006.

TBP and LayCool are way different... The only similarities are the fact they are heel womens tag teams.
LayCool: Very good heels and I think can be even better faces. McCool is the best womens wrestler. And Layla is not to good in the ring but improving. Both very attractive women and seem to have a great attitude towards the business.
The Beautiful People: Very good heels and "OK" faces. Angelina love is a overrated wrestler... Velvet Sky is terrible in the ring and does not seem to be improving. Velvet Sky would look very beautiful if she didn't have ridiculously sized plastic boobs and dresses like a street hooker that can afford tramp stamps.
Angelina Love is UGLY! She has a fantastic body but her face is disgracefully. She looks like Joan Rivers, she has had that much work done. If you shaved her head she would actually look like a man.
As for TBP's attitude... Well it is terrible. Velvet Sky thinks she is a wrestler when really she is a ugly Diva. Angelina love isn't much better either. She seems to think she is gods gift for womens wrestling. Really she isn't much.
End of the day. LayCool are WAY better than the beautiful people and it shows because Love and Sky look like porn stars but are getting worse pay.

Can't say I take offense to Layla's retort. I think that LayCool was inspired by The Beautiful People, so I'll give TNA the credit there, as TBP are at least nice to look at, but I think WWE being the "safe" product has helped them in this sitiuation. TNA strives to be different, when in reality the only differences have to deal with how they pale in comparison to WWE, but one positive difference they hold is the ability to not be beholdent to certain people, as their rating is TV-14. However, because they want so badly to be different, they overdo things with the rating, which, pertaining to the Knockouts hurts them as they're told to go out in tight or hardly any clothing, use an expletive every other word, and make sure you bend over so the guys can see your tits and ass.
WWE, being TV-PG has to take the approach of being safe, which means they focus on making them the best entertainers. I find LayCool to be vastly superior to TBP in terms of Mic skills and acting, and they are probably better in the Ring, so where WWE excells past TNA is they don't make their Womens Team complete "Look at us, we're showing you our body" girls, because they can't with their current content. WWE focuses on LayCool being entertaining, TNA focuses on TBP being hot, and if you ask me, it's evident WWE's approach is working better than TNA's, overall.
That said, the women from both groups are very nice to look at.

TNA and TBP are so sad and pathetic.. They need all the attention they can get. Good that she practically ignored them. ;D But imo TBP are desperate whores who can't wrestle in a sh*t awful company.. Layla and McCool are prettier and can wrestle a lot better than those sluts imo so they can be jealous all they want.  |
