In what appears to be a response to the bashing the group has received by The Beautiful People in TNA, Team Lay-Cool's Layla has posted the following on her Twitter account:
"Living the dream & so blessed!!

Plus don't deserve the press we get even tho they want it & need it :-)

For those who may have missed it, recently reunited Beautiful People members Angelina Love and Velvet Sky had the following to say on this past week's edition of Reaction, which many believe is a shot at WWE's Lay-Cool: "We created a group that has been like no other for women in Professional Wrestling. People have tried to be like this. People wanted to join us. No can do."
Sky then added, "And for all you wannabe Beautiful People girls out there... you know exactly who I'm talking about, get a life. You will never be us."
Love finished by saying, "And you're not cool by the way. You're not cool."

It must suck that The Beautiful People are performing in the second rate company, they must be really disgruntled that Lay-Cool are in the top wrestling promotion, and can actually wrestle unlike the trailer park hoes in TNA.

TNA copies everything that WWE does. When WWE does something that only slightly resembles TNA, everyone goes ape poop. ...it's because of things like this. When the WWE does, merely, copy TNA it turns out way better and comes across more smoothly than when TNA does it. Don't get me wrong when the Beautiful People first came out it gave me a reason to tune into TNA for 3 minutes. But when LayCool came out they actually took what TBP wanted to do and perfected it. |

I'm a fan of both teams... But Lay-Cool does the gimmick much better, although I think TBP are better on the mic in general.
Regardless, TBP really shouldn't have started anything. All it does is point out that while they were first, they are in the lesser company and are now the low rent version of the gimmick.

So where are Vince's Vixens or PMS calling them rip-offs? They weren't the first & most likely not the last group of girls to team up. They need to get over themselves.
