It worked in the 80's, doesn't work now. The main that urks me is no blood, this is pro wrestlingSports Entertainment, not Full HousePro Wrestling. fixed. Also when you "fixed" it, it makes zero sense and takes away from the point i was trying to make.

Wait, so Mattel can carry a licence like DC (who's superheroes punch each other through walls and beat up supervillains (who kill, mind you), Bleed and have mature storylines) but WWE performers aren't allowed to say ass or blade? I was just thinking the exact same thing. It was Mattel that put out the bulk of the figs from The Dark Knight. That means Mattel is ok being associated with: The Joker ramming a pencil through a would-be attacker's eye. Two-Face holding a gun to a child's head. Batman breaking Marconi's ankles by throwing him off a building. Harvey Dent's face being burned partially off. The Joker using a knife to cut through the mouths of multiple victims. ...but they can't be associated with Cena bleeding from the forehead. Nice logic, Mattel. BTW, in case all of the Mattel brass lives in a cave: The majority of WWE's fanbase isn't children nor is the bulk of people collecting your $10-$15 per fig wrestling line.

I'm fine with that. In fact I like WWE PG.

I thought they started charging us in 2002 starting with Royal Rumble? We had the UK PPVs like One Night Only and Capitol Carnage and stuff like that. Oh, I didn't think you were counting them. Also, I'm all in favour of WWE continuing to be PG. The only thing I don't like about PG is stopping matches for blood. That's over the top. If you don't want the wrestlers to blade, fair enough. But if it's accidental, let it continue.

I think the whole thing with Mattel dictating terms is bullsh*t, but I wouldn't be surprised if the WWE stayed PG for quite a while.

Mattel does NOT control WWE. If you seriously believe that, then you're dumber than one of those stupid homies walkin' round town with their pants on the ground. You're ing intellectually- disabled if you believe that.

lol makes no sense. I seriously doubt WWE would stay PG because of toys. not just toys, sponsors. Mattel is a sponsor as well as the likes of Coca Cola and 7-11 which are family friendly companies. whos to say they all care what WWE airs but why rock the boat if the ratings are there and the sponsors are there?

Didn't Mattel distribute action figure for PG-13 movies such as "The Dark Knight" and others, those movies did have a small amount of blood in them along with some killings.

Makes me worried how much people like blood. At TNA Hardcore Justice the Raven/Dreamer match made me uncomfortable. Is this what everyone wants?

I'm not out for blood, not in most matches, but sometimes it is need for the drama, especially in a HELL IN A CELL type match. Even the 80s and early 90s wrestling had LJB and Hasbro figures and they had blood from time to time, without stopping the momentum of the matches for every little cut.
