A promotion should only have the following titles
World Heavyweight Title Television Title Light Heavyweight Title Internet Title (for web exclusive matches) Hardcore Title Tag Team Title

This is what I've been saying since the start of the brand bullcrap. They only need one set of belts. Especially world championship. What is the point in having two champions walking around? IMO they need to put the shows back together. That was Smackdown is at least bearable, and it would create more potential feuds. Also get the dead weight off the roster.

False iyam. Sounds like they watched Raw, saw the Divas unification match, and decided to create this "news" story.
If they did decide to do this, it'd be a terrible move. The cons completely outweigh the pros.

How many web on matches are there? Also TV titles are out dated, how often do title changes take place at house shows? They used to be common place but it's very rare now. Honestly they only need the following World Midcard Cruiser Tag Womens

That's a pretty good idea, except now guys like Christian wont have much of a chance at the World Heavyweight Championship if there is only one title and it'll likely be populated by guys like Triple H, The Undertaker, Cena, Orton and Sheamus. Even so, hopfully this marks the end of the spinner belt!

I love this idea. I think there's way too many titles in the WWE right now and it will make winning Championships much more important and create bigger stars. I thought having so many Champions was ridiculous.
I just hope they keep the Women's Championship and not the Divas Championship.

how could any one be in favior of this you do relize that if this does happen the world tile scene would only consist of edge, randy orton, chirs jericho, undertaker, hhh, Rey Mysterio, big show, and john cena

I found this on SEScoops, if this is legit, all I can say is good news, there have been far to many titles for to long. You need one champion, that way you have one best of the best. And heck is makes sense to do it to the other divisions. Scrap the roster brand split! True wrestlers get canned, but it leads to so much more possibilities. I am for it, besides that the majority of canned wrestlers are the no bodies that people don't care about. And best of all, we might get rid of Zack Ryder! =D you ZR Fan boys!

I'd be extremely upset if this went through, ever since I started watching Wrestling, I have been fascinated by the double sets of titles, and to me personally, the titles used to mean something, but now imo, they are worthless, the WWE is just throwing them around to whoever they can think of, and unifying titles doesn't help anything.

Problem with this is, guys like Miz, Morrison, Cody, Dibiase, & Kofi would never move up to compete for the Unified title. And people like Swagger & Kane would never be given a chance to shine as champion either.
I'm not totally against the idea, but the younger guys will most likely get the short end of the stick.

I hope this is true, because the less belts the better.

Honestly...with the current set up of the WWE I don't like the idea. I'm glad they "unified" the tag titles since there are only about 3 legit tag teams left.
However each show having a top champion & a mid-card champion is a good format. It gives both RAW & Smackdown unique feels & feuds. If there was only one champion he'd be floating between shows and it would get almost confusing.
I just want them to change a few more belt designs. The Spinner belt needs to go, I like it but it just doesn't work anymore. The IC title needs a serious makeover. I'd like to see them combine the old 90's era title with the newer one somehow.

I don't mind them Unifying most of the Belts, however, I hope / wish they would keep both the United States & Intercontinental Titles.
End the Draft.
Release a few people.
Have the Championships consist of............
WWE Champion Intercotinental Champion United States Champion Tag Team Champions Women's Champion And maybes bring back the Cruiserweight Title to go with the above, Evan Bourne needs some Title, that would be perfect for him.
However, if they want to continue the draft, keep all the Championships listed as above, but, let ALL Champions be able to go on both RAW & Smack Down, that way, at least we get Fresh matches & feuds, new storylines, etc, etc & when a Champion loses a Title on a certain show they return to the Show / Brand that they belong to, the only loop hole being that if they are still continuing to feud with the person they dropped the Title to, then they can appear on both Shows, but after that & the story or feud is complete, you return to your brand.

Am I the only one against it? The roster split and title splits work, WWE just needs to learn how to do it right

The roster split and title splits work, WWE just needs to learn how to do it right Yeah and after 8 year and several attempts, they've yet to even come close to getting it right. I like this idea of them Unifying the titles, but I do think, as some have said, they need to bring in a Cruiserweight/Lightweight title for guys like Borne. They also need to solidify some new tag-teams. Getting rid of a 1/4 of the roster sounds grand. Looks like Zack Ryder will be getting future endeavored just like Cody Rhodes was talking about on NXT a couple weeks ago. WOO WOO WOO.

I really don't think they need to release anybody just because there are less titles. Back in the day when it was just the WWE, IC, Tag Team, and Women's Championships the roster was a lot bigger than it was now. So, I don't know why everyone keeps saying that they need to cut the roster, it's fine the way it is. I also, would love to see them bring back the Light Heavyweight Title too, that way it would be all original WWE Titles, no former WCW Titles.

I really don't think they need to release anybody just because there are less titles. It's not jsut because there are less Titles though, if WWE are unifying the belts say because they plan on ending the split, then you have everybody going on both shows again just like back before the split, meaning it's over crowded & not everybody will be used if they go back to the format of storylines carrying on through both RAW & Smack Down. So, if it gets crowded, you know some people are gonna get Future Endevoured unfortunately. However, I hope Zack Ryder isn't one of them. Personally, Mark Henry can get Future Endevoured though, 14 years of a complete waste of space! See, I'm all for the Unification of the two World Titles as there should be & can only be ONE WORLD CHAMPION! However, since we have had two, it has given more people a chance at being a World Champion who wouldn't normally get a shot otherwise with just one, so, on that note, I'm kinda torn whether I want the World Titles Unified or not. Guys like Kofi, Ziggler, CHRISTIAN, Punk, Kane, Rey, Swagger, Sheamus, Matt Hardy, Cody, Ted, Morrison, etc, etc won't have a look in with just one World Title & competing with a combined roster of Cena, Orton, Triple H, Undertaker, Edge, Jericho. I think it's about time certain names learned to give back to the business & put people over in helping building stars in the Main Event scene & WWE need to start writing it better for those guys. I don't know if they can do it for a combined / unified roster, I mean, it's already a complete joke now that Christian hasn't been a World Champion during the split, so what chance does he have if WWE are considering unifying the rosters & World Titles. Hmmmmmmmm......... *Sighs*

See it makes sense to unify the Tag and Women belts, because one injury and the whole division is hurting. But as far as the IC/ US & the World/ WWE belts, there are plenty of guys who can fill the gaps.
