that's great, hopefully they do away with the silly brand split as well and just return the company to what it was prior to the 2001 wcw invasion which led to more belts and a much bigger roster.

I won't believe it until I see it. Same here. I agree it would be better for the Women's/Divas to unify like the Tag Teams did. But I'm not sure about if it would be good for the WWE Title/WHC to unify..

Bad idea. Anyway I think the Match at NoC will just throw away the Idea of Co-Divas Champion. Layla will keep the Womans title and Michelle will take the Divas Title

So...if for whatever reason this turned out to be true, that would mean the WM27 main even once again s with what the point of the Royal Rumble is supposed to be these days.

Going back to the way it was? Sounds about right since they dont even follow the brand split anyways.
I hope the World Heavyweight and US title stay.

I hope they don't replace all the belts with horrible tag title like belts. I hope they keep the World Title and IC Title.

Why does everyone keep bring up the Cruiserweight and Light Heavyweight titles?? So Evan Bourne and Hornswoggle can have a 2 year feud over the belt. Cmon people think Obviously, we don't want them to F**k around with the Cruiserweight Division (which we know they all will in the end), but, if they really took it serious for once & didn't involve like you say Hornswoggle, it can be a good division if done properly. At the end of the day, Belts are just Props anyways, however, in the Eyes of a child (to which WWE is catering to more nowadays), the guys with Belts are the best (even if they really arnt), so, whilst the U.S. & I.C. Titles can be chased or put on guys like Kofi, Ziggler & the like for now etc, etc until they are pushed to or pushed back into Main Event, there are some Cruiser guys that could have a nice little division going before they are eventually pushed up into the U.S. or I.C. Title scene, for example........... Evan Bourne, Daniel Bryan, Kaval, Yoshi Tatsu, Tyson Kidd, Caylen Croft, Trent Barretta & so on, Lighter weight little guys that they arnt doing anything with (bar the exception of Kidd) to have something to do, something to win & put on solid matches here & there whilst also having a purpose rather than just being thrown into a throw away match. It gives them something to do before sending certain guys into midcard & higher, then you just bring up more Cruisers from FCW & Developmental or Hire some unknown Cruisers to replace guys like Danielson & Kaval once you push those higher up the card. But yes, we all know how WWE treats the Cruiser Division so ya probably right in that we'd see Hornswoggle competing for the belt. ,

The Lightweight/Cruiserweight division just holds people back. Sure for some people like Funaki and Scotty 2 Hotty it was fine.
But look at Rey Mysterio. The cruiserweight division was just holding him back. If the cruiserweight division returns you can rule out pushes for Daniel Bryan, Evan Bourne, Kaval etc.

I like this idea as I always hated how there was two of every title (World, IC/US, Women's Tag). I would however add a TV title-like championship for mid- to lower-card wrestlers.
Hopefully this will now elevate the IC back to where it should be.

To be honest with you, I feel that this is something that they just conjured up due to the one unification match coming and the tag titles already being unified. If they start having the IC/US champion fued, then I'll believe it. *Cue AdamBomb*

there goes any young guys main event pushes. =( why is everyone obsessed with age? Age shouldn't matter, it should be how well the person performs, and is entertaining, if i enjoy someones work i could care less if they are 55 or 20, if the 55 year old entertains me more thats who i want to see. And what the hell are you complaining about anyone? WWE has been all about youth lately....

All these new guys are something different and are exciting to watch.

It makes a ton of sense. When's the last time The Miz put his title up for grabs? It's completely pointless to have so many titles, especially since tey never fully utilize half of them.

For fans who have been through this before...WWE will change their minds in a few years and we'll be cluttered with titles again.
The circle continues.

I think this is a definite step in the right direction for the WWE. For so long now, the championships in WWE have meant nothing, and it's hard to distuingish a wrestlers standing in the card. Having one of each major title is more than enough.
WWE Championship WWE Intercontinental Championship WWE Divas Championship WWE Tag Team Championships WWE Television/European Championship as well?
