So a few MMA sites are making a big deal out of this comment. "I think Kenny is one of those guys that chokes in big fights" - Dana White. However after he said that he said he meant no disrespect to Kenny and that he is not bad mouthing him. You can see the whole interview here: videos.mmaweekly.com/view_player.php?id=2991Personally I think Dana wasn't in the wrong here and its kinda stupid how much this is getting made a big deal of, but its Dana and everyone will criticize him for everything. They hyped up Kenny pretty good for this fight though and look what happened, he froze. Your guy's opinion?

I'm a big fan of KenFlo, but will admit yes, he did choke in this fight, as well as the other important fights he's had (Penn), so I can see where Dana's coming from, and believe it's nothing other than Dana's respectfully blunt opinion.

In the press conference it seemed like Dana didn't want to flat out say that statement and somewhat paused before he did. But I mean, it's true. Not that big of a deal, but as great of a fighter as Florian is, he does seem to choke when it comes to big fights.
Not only did I have him over Maynard, but I had picked him as the one to dethrone BJ.

Like I said before, I'm a huge Penn nut-hugger, but Kenny disappointed just as much as BJ Penn did at 118. I was fully expecting them both to bring their a-game and put on a hell of a show, but instead Kenny decided to bring it in the last round of the damn fight and Penn decided to play punching bag with Frankie instead of engaging him. What White said isn't disrespectful, it's ing true.

I love KenFlo, but he does choke in big fights. This shouldn't even be a major deal.

Why is this being argued? It's true. He's the Chael Sonnen of the LW division.

I'd be more upset that Joe Rogan called me "The Gatekeeper of the division". That seems like more of a put down. But in any event, what Dana said is the truth. It sucks, because I like Kenflo. If he couldn't beat Grey or BJ, how would be he able to take down Frankie?

If Kenflo's the Gatekeeper, who's the keymaster?

If he couldn't beat Grey or BJ, how would be he able to take down Frankie? Well a lot of people actually said he would be champ without BJ, I used to say that but now.............no. He is an extremely good fighter with some of the best skill and he needs to get over that mental block.

If Kenflo's the Gatekeeper, who's the keymaster? You will perish in flame.

He's telling the truth. Maybe he is trying to motivate K-Flo a little bit using a little reverse psychology.

He lost against Diego in the TUF finale, lost against Sherk in the LW title fight, lost to BJ in the LW title fight, now lost to Maynard in the #1 contender fight.
I love you, Kenny, but c'mon. It's very obvious.
