Interesting that both Hulk Hogan figures are the only TNA figures to include any accessories other than pads so far.
What does the NWA sticker say in the small print on LOTR Jarrett?

Hey, what can I say. It's hard not to bash Jakks or take cheap shots at them when they make it so easy. Seriously, a re-release of Jarrett, red detail on Devon's shirt but not Ray's, reusing the DA Cena shorts mold for Sabin when he doesn't even wear jean shorts, and those ing snow boots that I have never seen a single wrestler ever wear once. I mean, this is just ridiculous already. I would love to collect Jakks figures, but I like figures that are accurate and highly detailed. Not figures that are sloppy and half assed. It doesn't matter anyway, I guarantee that Jakks will end up killing their TNA/Wrestling lines and the war will be over. Seriously I could go up and down Mattel's legends and take shots like the fact Mattel gives them plastic tassels where as Jakks actaully gave them cloth! Or the fact that the Dusty Rhodes scan looks like he should be entering the Special Olypmics. Hell, most of Mattel's Legends sculpts cannot hold a candle to Jakks' CS sculpts. But I don't. Honestly, just don't even come over into this board. Why do you need to? We know you go down to Mattel. So stay on Mattel's board and keep the peace. No one needs to. It's his right to come over here and give his opinion on the product. It's a public forum. You have every right to go to the Mattel board and give your opinion on the Legends series. The fact that you chose not to should not be a "guideline" that everyone else has to follow. I'm personally not a fan of the Jakks product, nor a fan of the TNA product. But to assume that based on those facts that I shouldn't be allowed to post my opinion is absurd. "Keep the peace" What peace? People have been arguing Mattel vs Jakks since before EITHER company released a signal prototype. You know what would be much better? If people were more open minded and didn't get offended at every single comment that disagrees with that they personally think. People take comments and label them as "cheap shots" simply because they are phrased in a not-so-constructive way. But that doesn't de-value the fact that they are opinions, and should be treated as such.

Well, if you did criticize Mattel I certainly wouldn't care or get all offended and upset by your criticisms or comments. I may try to counter them and say well what about this or whatever. For instance, what you said about the tassels, I actually prefer the plastic tassels over the fabric ones because the fabric ones always got tangled. And Dusty's head, sure it's not the greatest but it's not the worst either. Jakks certainly had their fair share of terrible headscans. But the figure is still awesome. And saying that most of the Mattel Legends Headscans can't hold a candle to Jakks CS headscans isn't very fare considering the Legends line just started. See it would be nice if people just tried to have discussions with me about my criticisms instead of just flaming or bashing me. People get mad when I criticize Jakks, yet no one exactly tries to prove me wrong either. And just because I like Mattel doesn't mean I like to "go down on them" or whatever. Saying sh*t like that is just intellectually- disabled.

The 2 Pack AJ looks great in my opinion. I'll be picking that up although I don't want Jarrett so I'll toss him on Ebay. I was going to get Hogan from DI 2 but I think I'll pass on that now. The DI 2 AJ looks decent I just wish the boots were different from the 2 Pack figure. I might pick him up as well but I'm not sure yet. As for LOTR the only one I want is Sting.

Its one thing to dicuss. Its another thing to throw-mud. A proper discussion IMO allows both positive and negative comments. Your posts are always negative. I do give my opinions about Mattel's stuff and I usually include both positive and negative comments.

It doesn't matter anyway, I guarantee that Jakks will end up killing their TNA/Wrestling lines and the war will be over. This is exactly my problem with the TNA line. TNA has way more people than WWE who I'd LOVE great figures of; Kendrick, Lethal, Shelley, McGuinness, Sabin, Styles, Daniels just to name a few. Heck, with use of the UFC torsos and the CORRECT legs (yes, that includes kickpads), Jakks would actually be able to muster up some pretty good figures. Of course I'd prefer new molds but I understand TNA is a small company so Jakks aren't willing to shell out much for them. The problem is, they not only overuse their parts WAY too much, but they also have this obscure tendency to use the wrong parts when they've got way more accurate ones already in existence. It's a shame, because I think what they've done with the UFC line has been really quite impressive. Unfortunately, I have no idea who any of them are lol!

The headscans are good, I'll give them that, but I care about figures being accurate and highly detailed more. If you don't agree with what I have to say, try to counter it or prove me wrong as I would do the same.

At least snow boots allow me to cut down the calf and make the figure shorter. I think I'll pick up Hogan, Hernandez, Jarrett & AJ (though I wish they switched around the torsos), Ichiban Hogan and maybe TNA Nash & Angle down the line. The others I have no problem leaving on the pegs to rot. For the record, people have worn "snow boots," sculpted tassles for Warrior & Bulldog is awesome (they won't become loose and get trapped within the bicep), and I believe the Mattel Dusty sculpt is on point. Interesting that both Hulk Hogan figures are the only TNA figures to include any accessories other than pads so far. What does the NWA sticker say in the small print on LOTR Jarrett? Don't forget 2-pack Steiner & James Storm sunglasses and chainmail/cowboy hat. And Foley's rubber flannel. I was also wondering what the sticker on Jarrett's box said.

That's exactly how I feel, I may be more brash about it, but Jakks just really infuriates me sometimes.

I'm not trying to turn this into a Jakks vs. Mattel. I think some of the stuff Mattel is producing is awesome, like accessories. The accessories they include in the Legends like are awesome! Mattel's accessories impress me and I will never deny it. AT times I wish they had used cloth (Goldust's robe) or metal (Kane's chains). But the effort towards them either way is great. I am annoyed with Jakks' lack of accessories in all of their lines. I had hoped belts were going to come into play early on but I guess not.

I think they all look great. I am glad they're using the snow boots mold to be quite honest, I had the "kick pad" mold that Series 1 AJ has.

I just can't find to much to like about them.

I think it's the mix between the realistic headscans and the inproportionate toy jank. I'd buy more if they were as cheap as they look, and I mean that in a good b-movie way.

WHY Why Why Jakks! I've been looking forward to getting the TNA roster of guys in deluxe form. But with those darn snow boots they are ruining so many of them! Seriously, why do they not use the taller kickpads . Has Jakks ever commented on this. I know they had the same problem the last year or so with the WWE guys as well

Since I'll get flamed for criticizing Jakks figures, this time I'll only talk about the positives. Except I honestly can't think of any positives, so I guess I'll just keep quiet. And yet you wonder why you get "flamed." Your post right here was completely useless and unecessary. The cheap shots you take at Jakks are why you get "flamed." If you said something along the lines of "well I had the boot mold they use, but the variety of names is refreshing" It migh tbe a different story i agree but combra is missing the point...not flammed for not liking jakks..flammed for clearly hating jakks no matter what and going into any jakks topic on a jakks board to post, repost and repost the gaga... thought we had this worked out..i guess some folks never learn... on topic im all for the legends line and now seeing MOC im even more for them.. maybe in the future we can had historic title belts but for now its a great start in my opinion since i dont nit pick a figure down to the shading of eyebrow hairs

Sting and Double J for sure they look absolutely great!
May pick up a Hogan too he looks exceptional for his likeness to his Japan days.
I don't pick up many of they new ones but I'll go out of my way to grab a set of the Guns, the detail on the pants is exceptional!
