Police in Maryland say a gunman has entered the Discovery Communications headquarters in Silver Springs and has taken at least one person hostage.
Montgomery County Police Cpl. Dan Friz tells WJLA-TV that a gunman is in the building.
A person inside the building tells The Associated Press the man had something strapped to his chest and has hostages. The person asked not to be identified, saying people inside have been told not to speak to the media.

The police have confirmed that there seems to be explosives on the man.
The person is an Asian male, who may or may not be a current or former employee of Discovery.
And that one shot has been fired.

The man's name is James Jay Lee.
And he has a history of protesting at the Discovery building.

This is sad I hope no one gets hurt. I hate when these mother  ers go in to schools and start shooting people and then they kill them selfs because they cant handle going to jail because there ****'s. And if they don't kill them selfs they get death with a niddle. Its so un fair to the insanest pepole that were begging for there life's. I hope all of these shooters go to hell for taking people away from there family's. I no its not in a school. |

I know that, I don't think he had a gun, he had a bomb I believe. Either way they still could have not shot him. I don't think he even killed anyone. |
