Comedian Robert Schimmel died last night in a Phoenix hospital from injuries he sustained in a car accident last week. He was 60 years old.

I saw this on Joe Rogan's Twitter last night, Joe said he loved him, he was one of his favorite guys in comedy.
Unfortunately, I don't know who he is. Anyone help me out? RIP.

Oh man. R.I.P.
Valo- he was balding comedian who had cancer a few years ago and would do a lot of comedy on that since then. In his older routines he was known for his proctologist story.

That's a real shame. He was one of the first Comedians I ever got into and I thought he was hysterical. Just watched the clip UndyTaker posted and it reminded me how funny I thought he was. That HBO special was pure gold.

that hbo special was one of the funniest things i have ever seen. it made me laugh so hard it hurt. one of the greatest modern comedians out there.

I liked Schimel, except every time he was on the Carolla podcast it was always a bummer.
