So I dont have a rant or complaint to post here. Instead I was curious if we have heard anything about figures being released in street gear? I love all the figures we have gotten, and Ive been completely blown away with the effort out forth by Mattel. But I was thinking we would have a sense of realism if they began releasing figures that werent in their wrestling attires. Even if its removable like the Y2J EG figure. So have we heard anything about this possibly eventually hitting the street? If not, does anyone know any removable cloth from another company that would fit on Mattel figures?

www.spam.com/ should help you, they're mostly for Jakks, but if you put in your order comments you want them for Mattel he'll make them for Mattel. Any way the real reason there are no street clothes are because really no one wears street clothes very often any more.

CM Punk and the Miz are the only ones I can honestly think of who wear street clothes.

I'd rather Ralph make the outfits, though it would be cool if they had punk come with a hoody with his next Elite figure.

i like some street gear figs, but these days with the WWE programming reverting to a more old-school wrestling program (mixed with a lot more jaw flapping) - there are less and less superstars appearing inl street clothesr like, say, in the attitude era. These days, one can get the same idea with the elites and their "entrance gear".
one day, maybe after we get announcers, we'll get a "suited body" mold and maybe a Jericho or Alberto Del Rio in a suit will happen, but really, between the Entrance Greats and Elites, there is little need for "street clothes" figures.

2nd thought, maybe if they were to do NXT 2 packs of rookie and pro, the pro could be in street clothes, but those two packs wouldn't sell very well IMO.

CM Punk and the Miz are the only ones I can honestly think of who wear street clothes. CM Punk wore jeans a few times when he was injured recently, but he almost never wore anything other than a t-shirt and wrestling gear on the shows before that. As has been said, I don't think there's any great need for street gear figures anymore. Randy Orton doesn't even own any pants, the most he ever wears is a t-shirt and trunks. I think the only guys who could really use "street gear" figures: Chris Jericho in a suit (though I fear it'd be a shelfwarmer) Legends Stone Cold Steve Austin in t-shirt/jean shorts Batista if he was still around And then maybe Edge, Triple H and The Miz.

Miz, Jericho, Edge often wear street clothes as do Christian and CM Punk to lesser extent. I would actually like to see some street clothes figures in the basic line to break up some the repetitiveness. I'm very surprised Mattel has not made more use of their t-shirt mold. You would think that with with all the Cena releases, they would have done one by now. Their seemed to be a decent amount of complaining when Jakks would over do the T-shirt mold releases, so maybe Mattel is hesitant to them.
Some street gear basic figures I would love to have include - - Austin - 3:16 shirt and jeans or jean shorts - Dusty Rhodes - Bull Rope/BunkHouse Brawl style - Edge - T-shirt jeans
