I know injuries are NEVER a good thing in the world of MMA, or sports as a whole for that matter. But we've all seen those certain injuries in the Octogon and reacted like "holy sh** that's sick!". So in your opinion, what's the worst one? I have two that come to mind whenever I think about this. The first is the cut that Vitor gave Marvin Eastman with what I think was a knee to the face. By far, the worst cut I've ever seen in a fight. To quote Joe Rogan, "It looked like someone hit him with an ax". The second was when Cory Hill from TUF went for a leg kick and snapped his shin in two. It looked like rubber and I don't think he realized he had broken it until the ref stopped the fight.   |

Cory Hill's was the worst freak accident to happen, but cuts wise, I have to say Diego Sanchez (When BJ kicked the living  out of his head), and Marvin Eastman |

Yeah I was thinking Torres too.
Another is Joe Daddy vs. Yves Edwards from UFC 61. It was doctors stoppage and by the time the fight end, Edwards literally looked like he had stood under a cow as it was slaughter with a machete. COVERED in blood. Crazy looking.
Then ironically enough Joe would suffer the same fate at the hands of BJ at UFC 80.
Bones Jones literally crushing Brandon Veras face with an elbow was pretty nasty too. Physically you can't see anything, but just seeing the look on Veras face as he tried to frantically cover up...damn.

Oh yea I forgot about that, if I remember correctly I read he suffered minor injury to his ankle and a ligament was detached in his knee, and add the humiliation from losing in the same fate you used to kill guys with. Looking at the picture, you would this he broke his ankle and his knee was a minor injury.  Also here is Torres cut.  |
