The Chiefs will not win a game in the playoffs. Ok. Cool. Still doesn't take away from the fact that we are in. One and done hardly counts. Women are always ticked when I do that. Just saying.

The Packers are going to win it all.
Ok, maybe not, but I'd enjoy it.

Ok. Cool. Still doesn't take away from the fact that we are in. One and done hardly counts. Women are always ticked when I do that. Just saying. You know, for someone that claims you be a Chiefs fan, even if you are an older one, you sure do seem to do nothing but doubt and bash them. I get it. The Chiefs have been the measuring stick of absurdity. We've been the laughing stock and the "could have been" of the NFL for a while now. But football is football. Nothing is a given, and everyone can be beat. I say bring on the Jets. Bring on the Patriots. Bring on the NFC Champions. We stand just as much chance to win as anyone else, and we have home field advantage to start off with. And for anyone bringing up the Falcons on their way to the playoffs, they aren't the only ones undefeated at home. Doubt all you want, and if you guys end up being correct, then so be it. I'll eat my words as I've done before. But for now, we are in the playoffs.

He's probably the most negative sports fan around here, that's why.

The Chiefs are the second worst team in the playoffs, only ahead of whatever crap'tastic team comes out of the NFC West. Hasn't stopped sh*t teams from making it to the big one. Once you're in, records don't matter. Just matters who can win three or four games in a row. Haha.

I'm just not a guy who jumps on board and goes, "zomg1111 my teme wil win itz alll11111" I look at reality. The Chiefs won 5 games last year. They've doubled their win total. This is the first time in the playoffs for the vast majority of the guys on the team. They're going to be a lower rated seed which means they probably won't be going against some 7-9 team that barely skated in. They're a one and done team. That's the reality. Hopefully they'll make it next year and if they do, they may go further. I'm sorry if you won't find me dancing in the streets for a team that's going to be one and done. I know I should be swinging from the chandeliers and dancing with glee, but I'm not. I've spent nearly two decades of my life rooting for the Chiefs. They haven't done jack in those two decades. They won 100 games in the 90s and the furthest they got was one appearance in the AFC Championship game. In the past 10 years they've done next to nothing. I've seen people hype the fact that the Dick Vermeil would bring a championship to KC. He did nothing. I saw Tony Dungy come to town promising a championship. That worked out well. I will believe it when I see it and not before. The Chiefs have a history of one and done.

I think it's pretty sad when a division win (NFC East) is between a team who's record is 7-8, and the other is 6-9. I think you mean the West my man. Its actually nice seeing the chiefs in the playoffs again. They've grown a lot on me ever since they became New England #2. Yeah I meant west, my bad.

I have a feeling it's going to be NE vs PHI in the Super Bowl... although I wouldn't be shocked if NO somehow made their way to the SB again with that high-powered offense. I would like to see GB do well, but they've been too inconsistent with losses against WAS, MIA, DET. And then in the AFC you have teams like BAL, NYJ, PIT, who are VERY capable of beating NE (even in Foxborough). KC is kind of that unknown variable, but I don't see them getting past NYJ or BAL in the first round.

It's hard to tell which Bears team will show up for the playoffs. Hopefully the good one where Cutler doesn't suck. Or maybe the one where Cutler sort of sucks but the defense and special teams bail him out.

Nnamdi Asomugha has allowed only 10 Receptions for 157 Receiving Yards and no TD's, while playing in 13 games and through an ankle injury. MVP? Another person who REALLY has shown he is MVP material, but wont get it......Matt Cassell. We've seen the Chiefs without him. We've seen him with the Chiefs one week after an appendectomy. His numbers are solid, but he plays in KC and isnt a media darling. I know Jet fans who tell me he can't hold Revis's jockstrap.... I really hope the Ravens go for this guy in the off-season, if the Raiders don't bring him back next year. But he'll probably be too expensive. Asomugha is great. 1 and 1a when it comes to corners. But the homer in me takes Revis.

I just think with how this season went, were going to have a great SB, so many scenarios that i would like to see. Only thing i wish is for Colts and NO not making the SB again.

Cassel's INT to TD ratio alone should put him in the MVP talk, IMO.
All I'm saying is at the end of the day, when all the stats are calculated...if you are right up there with Tom Brady, and Tom Brady is getting MVP talk, why shouldn't the No. 2?

When I brought it up to a friend of mine, he said he doesn't deserve to be in the talks because he plays for the Chiefs. Stupid ass arguement, but I think some people do see it that way.

Ha, that's pretty funny though.
I just think it's funny that with the #1 Rushing, #5 Offensive Line, and a top 10 defense, people still give us a snowflake's chance in hell.

Because Brady is better in every way. I understand that Cassel has stats that resemble Brady's, but they're not as good, his team isn't as good, and he doesn't have the track record to prove that he is as good. Mike Vick is getting the hype because of the unique way he does things. His rushing numbers alone are excellent.

A Chiefs/Rams Super Bowl is just as possible as a Falcons/Patriots Super Bowl at this point. Everyone in the playoffs has a fair shake at this point. The Chiefs may not, statistically, be the best team to ever be in the playoffs, or even the best this year...but as this entire season has proved...nothing is guarenteed. It's really anyones game.

I'd give it to Vick. And I mean the MVP award.

No way you give Vick MVP. Like I've said before, the best he can do is co-mvp with Brady.
If there is only 1 MVP, its Brady hands down.

A Chiefs/Rams Super Bowl is just as possible as a Falcons/Patriots Super Bowl at this point. Then please go put money on a Chiefs/Rams Super Bowl. There's a reason that Vegas wins money hand-over-fist every year.
