Well, it's finally time. After all the words, the rumors, the good and the bad, Brett Favre is done. And as much as the media has torn him up, as much as some fans claim he has "ruined" his legacy, and as much punishment that he's taken this year...it had to happen. It all had to happen, in order for him to be able to leave. The mind will always overpower the body, and in the last year of his amazing career, Brett Favre came crumbling down. But why is this such a horrible thing as some reporters or fans make it out to be? For the last few years, the question of if he was going to come back or not has always been in the air. The magic was still there, the ability was still there, and the want for #4 as your quarterback was there. And finally, it's not. Brett knows he has nothing left to prove. There's no longer any teams that will be throwing down big bucks for Brett. And most importantly, while the magic may still be there, Brett knows his body has to be fuctioning to use it. Case in point, the 2010 season of Brett Favre, while it may have been the worst of his career, ended up being just the season he needed. For the man I've admired since 1993, the man I've never counted out regardless of the score or the situation, there's no comeback this time. He is finished, and I couldn't be more proud. As a fan of football, as a fan of Brett Favre, and as a fan of playing a sport just to enjoy playing the sport, thank you. Kind of ironic he had the best season of his career and the worst season of his career back-to-back.

You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both, and there you have.....

I'm laughing at the Seahawks. I'm laughing at the NFL for actually letting them host a playoff game. That's ing ridiculous. I'd love to sit here and say the Saints are going to destroy them, but I honestly see the Saints ing up majorly. Doesn't mean I don't think they'll win, but they'll do it in the worst fashion. That's not ridiculous. And I see the Seahawks beating the Saints. Qwest is a powerful stadium and magic happens there haha. Seahawks will beat Saints, but lose to either Green Bay or the Eagles.

No way in hell. We were able to put up 19 points against the Saints away. At home we will put up more, especially since Saints have no idea who is starting. Don't think I'm saying the Hawks are gonna go in there and destroy, but I do see us winning by very few points.

To clarify, I only classify about 12-16 QB's are being "good." The other guys are all a few bad games away from being benched. How soon after the SB can we expect a Kliquid draft projection? Kliq, would you agree that the Jets need a safety, DE, RG/RT and linebacking help? I think the safeties and linebackers the Jets have are good and not fully developed. They have Marquis Cole back there as a safety who can play pretty good and i think they should play him more. The lineman are pretty good as well. Very solid. I think what they need the most is a big nose tackle. Jenkins had surgery again this year and who knows what will happen next year.

Yea because it was magical when the Giants went there and blew the Chickens out 41-7.

I'm really not a draft expert. I can sometimes give insight on what teams believe they need, but I don't know enough about the players to give a "mock draft" that wouldn't embarrass myself. I do think those positions are all ones of need for the Jets. They have done a good job of addressing the key positions in the last few drafts, though. I could have sworn you did mock drafts here before. How soon after the SB can we expect a Kliquid draft projection? Kliq, would you agree that the Jets need a safety, DE, RG/RT and linebacking help? I think Cole has potential, but he is more of a corner. I'm still looking for someone that can step right in. We need a FS for some over the top help. I think we need 1 more LB. Thomas is ok at best. We've got Ellis on the left side, but the right side is old man Devito. WE NEED A pass rusher. I agree that big Jenk is old Jenk and cant last the season. Pouha has been ok as a sub. I am hoping that he can come back and stay healthy and feel other positions have more of a need than NT. The O-line is another area that needs work. I really do not like Slauson at LG and feel he is the biggest weak link in the line. And Hunter at RT needs to be replaced as well.

I am so glad the Panthers announced they will pick Luck. I know the combine hasn't happened, and it's obviously uncertain how he will do in the NFL, but with as good as he is in college, I would say his NFL success is pretty promising.

Ellis is also great but old and only has a year or 2 left. Hunter is filling in for Woody who was out with an injury so i don't expect him there to start next year enless Woody leaves which i think HUnter is good though. Slauson has had his share this year of ups but first yeah he didn't do soo soo bad and they drafted that Vlad guy last year so maybe next year he steps in. I think Free safety is what they need too. They don't have a big/tall safety so it hurts them. Leonhard is great but is a smaller guy.

And I know he is gonna command a big price tag and at his age, I dont see the Jets paying. Same can be said for Ellis. I love Leonhard. I agree, big safety would be nice. Almost would rather see Leonhard play FS and get a bigger hitter at SS. I am so glad the Panthers announced they will pick Luck. I know the combine hasn't happened, and it's obviously uncertain how he will do in the NFL, but with as good as he is in college, I would say his NFL success is pretty promising. The only issue I see is they are giving up on Clausen too soon. I'm not saying I think Clausen can be a top 15 QB, but we havent really been able to see that yet. And with Carolina, you have SO MANY holes.....why not move down and start rebuilding. Instead, you draft Luck and he is gonna get the David Carr treatment. Outside of a running game, Carolina has nothing to hang their hat on.

Honestly, the only Panthers currently preforming at least decent is Stewart, Beason, LaFell and sometimes Goodson.
The only problem I have with rebuilding, is losing any of these players, really losing any players I like would upset me. People are saying they should get rid of Steve Smith, and honestly as bad as he has been recently, I would HATE to see him go, he has been a Panther for forever and the staple of our team.

I don't know who's gonna end up on top in the Seahawks/Saints game, but I know I'll be watching. Probably wont to fantasy next year, but I'll try Pick ems here.

I want the Colts to win so they will most likely play the Steelers. It's been a while since those two played. Patriots will probably get the Ravens, another great playoff match-up.
