Are we doing one thread for the season or should we make a new one every week? What say you, NFL thread? Might as well keep this one.

i been a cowboy fans since before i can walk i watched tape on everyone from roger staubac, danny white, hell even anthony wright and quincy carter and i have to say that the d line we workin wit is very good we got a great offensive but the o line is good wen they want to be. I mean Romo is doing everything he kan but what in gods name is wrong with you. Throw a shovel pass to the 3rd string rb. Dnt get me wrong Choice is a beast and is the reason we almost beat the steeliers 2 years ago but u dont do a shovel pass at that point not even for chris johnson. THe problem was we couldnt stop them on 3rd down, our o-line is hurt, we never seem to be able to stop dmac even thou he hasnt palyed like that againest us in a while he did it on sunday and thats what counts. But i wanna know he feels they were robbed with that last play and how far you think they will go this season

Even if she dresses like a whore and might be "asking for it" harassment isnt condoned and it shouldnt be. Might be taken less serious and the case might go nowhere, but its still a very bad thing. I don't know exactly what went on beyond the cat calls and comments, but you can't put a hot chick in skin tight clothing in a locker room and expect nothing at all to happen. If you're a female reporter and want to be respected for your reporting skills and not your looks, then you need to dress appropriately.

For the record, you guys do know that the reporter WASN'T the one that notified the NFL, right? As in, a different female reporter heard of the incident, and then reported it to the NFL, and now this lady is stuck in the middle?

Which goes back to what was previously said. She dresses like that because she wants that kind of reaction.

I disagree. Dress like a whore.....be treated like a whore. Society may say differently. But society doesnt dictate was is right and wrong.

I don't think anyone is saying that what happened is right. The thing is she did bring it on herself though. You can't dress seductively, walk into a locker room and then complain that you're not treated like a professional.

Girl dresses slutty, sneaks into bar underage, gets SO drunk she cant even recall half the night puts herself in a position where a multiplicity of bad things can happen and MUST bear some responsibility for the outcome.

Like I said, she's dressing unprofessionally. Now her profession is marred with drama.
Who is the cause of the problem? The guy who was wrong that said stuff to her? Or the girl who was wrong for dressing unprofessionally? Both are wrong, but what she chose to wear caused this problem at her job.
At Giants camp a female reporter came through and she was hot, had very nice features from head to toe. But she was dressed professionally in dress pants and a button down quarter shirt. Of course the players gave her more attention for interviews and seemed nicer to her. But did any of them act unprofessional towards her? No one came even close. If that same girl was wearing unprofessional clothing, I would bet that they would have said something unprofessional or looked her up and down like a piece of meat.
Whatever job lets her go around dressed like that is nuts. Maybe the blame should be placed upon her employer.

Citibank is being sued by a former employee b/c they asked her to stop wearing tight turtlenecks b/c of the attention she was drawing from male employees. She quit and is now sueing Citi for sexual harrassment for even telling her this. It sucks, but the world we are in right now.....there is such a fine line. The employer should have every right to tell her to knock it off if they choose. But they could be fear a backlash from the Mexican community, where is she is loved and from her legally. And then the flip side is maybe they encourage this, knowing that she can bring the best stories in using her sexuality.

"Clinton Portis offered up his perspective on female reporters in the locker room during a radio interview Tuesday, words that drew a strong rebuke from the league hours later.
Portis told 106.7 The Fan that a female reporter would find "somebody got to spark her interest" in the locker room. He added, "I don't know what kind of woman won't, if you get to go and look at 53 men's packages."
Ummm....can someone translate what he said?

What he said was if you put a women in a locker room with 53 naked men who are all pro athletes she is sure to find at least one guy who interests her or she wants and there what women wouldn't. I think he is pretty right in a way though. My question is why is it alright to have women in a men's locker room but you would NEVER see a man in a womens?

I see it like this. Let's say I go walking down a dark alley with $100 bills hanging out of my pockets. I get mugged. Now, is the guy who mugged me at fault? Absolutely he is. Am I completely blameless? No. I was an idiot to put myself in that situation.

And thanks to everyone for the translations on Portis. I was quite confused.

I also was the one who told you were an idiot for doing that in the first place. God, you hold a guy at gun point one time....
