The local sport station in Philly has reported that the Browns have made an offer for Kevin Kolb.
The Eagles want a 1st round pick while the rumored Brown's offer is QB Senaca Wallace and a 2nd round pick. I find it interesting that the Browns are in the market for him after they drafted Colt McCoy. I guess they see McCoy as a long term project.

Actually, I believe the Browns see McCoy as not NFL ready. They were looking at flat out cutting him in the preseason.

When I heard that Braylon Edwards was practicing and was not suspended, I seriously shook my head is disgust. A message needed to be sent. The media has been all over this making Edwards a villian and the Jets into a pompous organization hell bent on winning regardless the cost or message sent. Comparisons to Donte Stallworth have even been made. HOWEVER, I learned something last night from Adam Schefter that I did not know. Since this is Braylon's first DUI offense, the Jets are NOT ALLOWED to suspend him. Its in the player's union contract that the first DUI offense is not suspendable. The Jets CANT suspend Braylon, even if they wanted too. The only thing they can do is SIT HIM on Sunday night against the Dolphins. Will they? Probably not. He wont start, but I'm sure by the end of the 1st, Edwards will be taking snaps. But once again, the media is blowing a story up as front page headlines when they dont even have the full story. I dont understand why the media never has a responsibility to the news they report.

They should play him, even if it's just on 2nd or 3rd down.
Until the legal matters have been resolved, they should play him... they still HAVE to pay him no matter what, so play him.
If you guys miss the playoffs by one game or something and they didn't play him... just saying, think about that.
But yea, I agree, a message needs to be sent. Let the league do it.

I like Braylon a lot. I really hope the Jets do not get rid of him after the season. He is a pretty valuable asset to Sanchez.

He shouldn't have anything done to him. Did we all seem to forget about the 2 or 3 Dolphins were all got arrested for a DUI in the offseason most notablely Ronnie Brown. I didn't see him all over the in papers like Braylon. Give the guy a break.

HUGE difference, thats why a DUI is in the news and others arent. Common sense folks.

I didn't see him all over the in papers like Braylon. Give the guy a break. Yes, but the media has villified the NYJ. The Dolphins havent been. Thus, they will attract the bigger headline. And you know what.....fair is fair. Rex Ryan has run his mouth in press conferences. They have brought about a lot of this hatred on themselves. And thats fine. Dont talk the talk, if you cant walk the walk. He shouldn't have anything done to him. Did we all seem to forget about the 2 or 3 Dolphins were all got arrested for a DUI in the offseason most notablely Ronnie Brown. I didn't see him all over the in papers like Braylon. Give the guy a break. Its because Braylon, is an idiot and already has charges/accusations against him. HUGE difference, thats why a DUI is in the news and others arent. Common sense folks. Braylon is an idiot. Not just for this....but for the fight he had last year and his arrogant attitude, when in fact he personally hasnt earned shit. Rex Ryan can claim he took his team to the AFC Title game in just his first season in NY and his first season as a head coach. Braylon Edwards can only claim he dropped a bunch of passes on the way to that game. Braylon acts like hot crapafter making a catch that elite receivers make every single day. Edwards ACTS like an elite receiver......plays like a semi average at best receiver. This is an excerpt from Kevin Blackistone's article today. I'm sure many of you are familiar with him from Around The Horn. And he is just another case of blowing things up without having all the facts and all to just try and sell a headline. The media seriously needs to be held accountable. "Indeed, if the Jets really cared about the 27-year-old Edwards, rather than just leave the No. 17 Edwards on their active roster, they'd remind him of his night with Stallworth by suspending him for at least a game, if not until his Nov. 9 court date for the misdemeanor charge he was handed. It is true that most of us have employers who wouldn't send us home after such a criminal charge and that many of us still dare to be so stupid as to drive after drinking. Some of us may even work someplace where we wouldn't have to divulge an upcoming court date for such a thing. And for almost all of us, it wouldn't be national news, or even local news, if we did find ourselves in such a pickle. Maybe we all need to face that stigma." Like I said before......I'm just a fan. Maybe an uber-fan, certainly dont have the knowledge that a Kliquid has. HOWEVER, I dont get paid to write sports articles. I dont have credentials nor the sources to obtain valuable NFL info and to get the facts. And yet, Adam Schefter does and clearly states that the Jets nor any other NFL franchise can suspend a first time DUI offender based off the collective barganing agreement set forth by the league's union. Someone stop this nonsense.

Managed to get tickets to the Eagles/Jags game in Jacksonville Sunday. Only a 2 hour drive so I thought, what the hell, and grabbed a cheap pair of tickets off of NFL Ticket Exchange. Should be a fun game, always is when you're rooting for the away team.

I've seen a lot of away fans respectfully cheer for their teams in Philly and nothing has happened to them. Of course you have the rotten apples that will cause trouble, from both fanbases. However, this happens everywhere. Happened to me when I went to a Dodgers/Brewers game out in LA last year because I was wearing a Phillies hat and also at a Rays/Phillies game last year in Tampa.

San Diego Chargers' Offensive Tackle Marcus McNeill Reports to TeamESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that San Diego Chargers offensive tackle Marcus McNeill has reported to the team. According to Schefter’s Twitter account, “OT Marcus McNeill signed his one-year, $630,000 tender. He will miss next 3 games, then be eligible to play against Patriots next month.” This is welcome news for the Chargers who have struggled in both running the ball as well as in pass protection. Current starter Brandyn Dombrowski will likely be back on the bench when McNeil returns, but could see playing time at other positions as needed. This news has potentially important fantasy implications, as McNeil will give quarterback Philip Rivers more confidence in protecting his blind side, which should give him more time to find his receivers on the field. Unfortunately, it won’t happen for at least another month-or-so as he gets back into football shape and serves his suspension. This news leaves Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson as the only player holding out. Jackson has remained strong on his morals and has said all season that he will not be budging on his contract expectations. After the Chargers failed to move the disgruntled receiver, he was quoted saying, “"I just don't understand why .” "They obviously think I'm a valuable player by asking for such high trade compensation, but why am I only offered tender salary?"
McNeil’s signing will likely have no effect on what happens with Jackson, as he seems content with sitting out the entire 2010 season.
