I think we can take Jacksonville tomorrow. MJD is a probable, but so is Bradley and he can hold MJD under wraps.

San Diego Chargers' Offensive Tackle Marcus McNeill Reports to TeamESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that San Diego Chargers offensive tackle Marcus McNeill has reported to the team. According to Schefter’s Twitter account, “OT Marcus McNeill signed his one-year, $630,000 tender. He will miss next 3 games, then be eligible to play against Patriots next month.” This is welcome news for the Chargers who have struggled in both running the ball as well as in pass protection. Current starter Brandyn Dombrowski will likely be back on the bench when McNeil returns, but could see playing time at other positions as needed. This news has potentially important fantasy implications, as McNeil will give quarterback Philip Rivers more confidence in protecting his blind side, which should give him more time to find his receivers on the field. Unfortunately, it won’t happen for at least another month-or-so as he gets back into football shape and serves his suspension. This news leaves Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson as the only player holding out. Jackson has remained strong on his morals and has said all season that he will not be budging on his contract expectations. After the Chargers failed to move the disgruntled receiver, he was quoted saying, “"I just don't understand why .” "They obviously think I'm a valuable player by asking for such high trade compensation, but why am I only offered tender salary?"
McNeil’s signing will likely have no effect on what happens with Jackson, as he seems content with sitting out the entire 2010 season. Good. I'm glad McNeil has the sense not to but heads with the GM. This shows me he's a team player. The sad thing is, he is worth more to the Chargers than VJ is. VJ has performed well, but I do not think he deserves the long term commitment he wants. He's Trouble. - kicking the penalty flag in the playoff game - getting 2 DUI, including one being before the biggest game of the season - arriving late to said game seriously, the dud thinks he's more important than everybody else on the team.. I'd rather not have him.. he can go suck an egg. MM deserves a long term contract. This team needs all the help they can get on their o-line..

Jackson is a scumbag and all that, but the AJ Smith did purposely him on the trade talks with others. He did all that nonsense on purpose to piss Jackson off and keep out of the NFL for the year

He did all that nonsense on purpose to piss Jackson off and keep out of the NFL for the year Not so sure he was asking too much for a bonafide number 1 receiver.. the kid held out.. he put himself out of the game for a year.. he should have signed his tender and proved to the team and the fans that he can stay out of trouble and grow up.. I'm sure he would have seen the contract he wanted next year, either with us or somebody else

AJ Smith ed over a scumbag, but he did

AJ Smith ed over a scumbag, but he did disagree on both counts a 2nd rounder this year and a 3rd next year is hardly unreasonable for a talented receiver.. if he was worth the money, shouldn't he be worth the picks as well? AJ was hardly screwing any teams.. VJ and his agents played this one poorly.. he should have signed for the 3+ million, played the year and proved to the team that he's worth a longer term settlement..

That was the 1st interception that was actually Eli's fault this year. Can we not catch the ball anymore?

This might be one of the worst Patriots teams I have seen, their defense is def the worst I have seen in the past 10 years
