I really, really, really want to do a Ring of Honor diary but I really have no knowledge of it. Like, I know the wrestlers, but booking will be a challenge. I would like to put my own twist to things, but I'll be getting a ton of, "DIS IS UNREALISTIC!!!!!11!!1!" comments. I just don't know.

I don't mind booking for myself, but I'd rather not. GATTACA is one of the best diaries on this board K, and if it means that it'll continue then expect a reply from me later on today. Now, since replies seem to be becoming an issue for certain diaries, I have a suggestion. We currently have the unwritten reply for reply rule, so how about we make it written. I'm not saying that everyone has to do it because that wouldn't be fair to certain people, what I am suggesting however is far more ingenious (which is obvious because I suggested it). How about an official reply for reply list? People could sign up their diaries as one that guarantees reply for reply and I'd happily keep it updated. That way people who are willing to reply benefit more which is only fair because they are giving a bigger contribution. I'm more than willing to run it if enough people support the idea. |

Aaaaaaand cue the two page debate on the Reply for Reply rule...
We've had this discussion before, and I never get involved in it because it's always the same outcome. It will never be introduced, because there is no way of forcing people to reply. Not to mention, there's people who would rather cut off both their arms than reply to my diary, and there's a similar story with other people and other diaries. I know you're saying it wouldn't be for everyone, but I don't think people would sign up because there's just some diaries that don't interest them, and wouldn't be able to reply to if they received a reply from a person who was writing one of those said diaries. Not to mention, there's no way of punishment or anything if they didn't return the reply.
Even though I do agree with Rated R, it just wouldn't work.
