According to sources, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia will make his pro wrestling debut in Japan later this month (a finalized date was not revealed).
Also expected on this card in Japan includes MMA fighters and part-time pro wrestlers Josh Barnett and Bob Sapp. Bobby Lashley, who had left pro wrestling for the time being to focus on his MMA career with Strikeforce, is also scheduled to take part in the event.

For some reason, I see Tim Sylvia having good charisma and character, but poor ring execution.
The next thought that pops in my head is Bill Goldberg. Then the next thought after that is Gillberg. Then Big Show chokeslamming him.... I don't know why.
I wonder if this is going to be a shoot style? Would be interesting to see either way.

it's remarkable how big lashley manages to keep looking all this time, even doing mma and doing a lot of diffrent drills and excersises besides lifting hasn't seem to slimmed him down ( i see some steroids jokes coming...) gotta give the man credit for that at least,he's a beast !
i remember reading a JR blog after his mma loss where he noted lashley might be wise to slim down and get faster inside the octagon, but i don't know...if i'd look like lashley,i would feel bad about losing muscle mass after all the years of hard work i'd put in to get like that.
talking about beasts, sapp on the other hand doesn't look as monstrous lately anymore as i remember him being, seems to be getting softer..
