Wow, Palhares complains about Nate's legs being greased and gets KTFO'd for it. I wonder what, if any, controversy this'll cause.

That foot slid out of there, it wasn't jerked...
Another Jackson fighter cheating?

Regardless of if it was greased or not, he shouldn't have left himself open like that.

Well, looks like there's no controversy after all, according to what Rogan said. Great win for Nate.

Good fights tonight. Palhares getting jacked after trying to complain was pretty funny. Charles O looked very good. Jim Miller/Tibau was pretty much a toss up in my opinion. Good win by Cole over Pearson. Glad I got to watch it all while I would flip back and forth with Big Brother Finale but I never missed any fight finish..

Two of my favorite fighters lost today . As much as I hated to see Escudero lose , BIG ing props to Oliveira, his JJ is just sick! I think Escudero really needs to drop his ego and just start taking these fights seriously, it doesn't seem like he does sometimes. Really hated to see Palhares lose , especially the way he did, just a little odd how a guy who is known for his Leg Locks and it just SLIPS out, I don't buy it even with the Doctors, ringside people and even the Ref checking it, I just don't! I still think Nate as cheated in the past as well so IF he did grease of some sort, it wouldn't surprise me. Hell he could of used the old Sexyama trick . Besides that Palhares didn't bitch when Hendo got out but now he does? I believe him. Also I think it was wrong for him to throw that punch, IDC what anyone says, that was just a ed up punch. Also anyone see the Ref pressuring Oliveira to fight after he got hit in the balls, WTF was that? EDIT: He ing greased, no way your leg just slips put like that.

Nate didn't grease. Get over it. Herb Dean checked his leg immediately after the fight, before he would have had a chance to wipe it off. Your leg can slip out pretty easily when you are a second degree black belt in BJJ like Nate is. Palhares has even stated after the fight...
"I'm very sorry for the accusations I made, Nate Marquardt did not cheat in any way, and I'm very sorry to him and his team for my actions in the fight."
There you have it. No controversy. It's over.
As far as the punch is concerned, if you think he has greased or not, you do not STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND TAKE YOUR EYE OFF OF YOUR OPPONENT no matter what you think he may be doing. Your opponent is not going to go, "oh man, he's not paying attention, I better not take advantage!"
If nothing else, Palhares had it coming because of making such a bonehead move. You. Are. In. A. Fight. He took his eye off the ball and paid dearly for his mistake.

Palhares should have protected himself, fought to the end of the round, and then voiced his concerns. Instead he looks like an idiot for leaving himself open to a big TKO.

I thought it was a good fight night, personally. I thought Ross was going to get the upset, but as soon as he got rocked, it was pretty easy to see it was over. I wasn't really paying attention to the whole Jim Miller fight, but kudos to him. Had some really nice shots. Charles O is a freaking treat to watch, and that had to be the most painful nut shot I've seen in the UFC so far. As for the ref, what a ing moron. I'm glad Joe called him out for not knowing that Charles had 5 minutes, and was obviously in pain. But more power to him for pushing past it, and finishing the fight pretty quickly after. Like a freaking spider monkey. The final fight had a great set up, but I was disappointed by the outcome. Regardless of what's happening in the fight, leaving yourself open like that is just silly. I honestly thought it was out after the punch coming down, and thought Herb could have stopped it earlier. Maybe by a few seconds, but whatever.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong as far as him working up a good sweat before the fight I don't agree with it but if it isn't against the rules than more props for you for being smart. And I agree, It was ing stupid for him to complain in the middle of the fight, he should of waited for the round to end and again it was dumb of him to do it in the middle of the round I still think it was messed up for Nate to attack than but it wasn't against the rules so whatever. Between the PEDs , the knee and just his attitude I just don't like Nate so I will come off a little biased.
